                  "Woah!" the students shouted as they found themselves falling through the trap door.

Everyone fell with a thud and crushed most of the flowers with their bodies. They either groaned or moaned in pain, taking a few moments to recover.

"Well, that could've gone worse" Ace expressed with Deuce rolling over to see some of the flowers growing.

"No time! Start weeding!" Deuce shouted as he grabbed one flower and pulled it out of the ground with all his might.

The rest followed his example and soon, they were able to remove the flowers. They fell and took a moment to rest before gathering themselves.

"Ah! Yuu!" Grim shouted as he scurred up and stared upward to see the trap door closed, "But why does my henchman always feel the need to do this! It is not fair!"

Ortho picked up the monster cat as the freshman gathered around him. Each holding comforting expressions and trying to reassure him.

Ace added with annoyance and a smirk, "I know, right? Seriously don't know what is going through Yuu's mind, but we're not letting Yuu stay there alone!"

"Hey, Yuu's gonna be fine" Deuce reassured him with a ruffle, "There's no way that Yuu is losing to him"

"Let's not forget that Yuu saved us. Meaning Yuu had a plan, so we should carry out the rest of it" Jack reasoned with a knowing smile.

"She's super tough too!" Najma added with a grin, "We've got nothing to worry about if you ask me!"

"Yeah! She's handled every Overblot! Rollo's got nothing on her!" Epel encouraged with a grin.

"Yuu's powers and unquantifiable! I have no fear! We will meet with her again!" Ortho said with joy.

"Of course, she can handle herself! Why were we ever doubting such a thing?!" Sebek's voice boomed, "Now, we shall save our friend and reunite her with us and my liege. My liege!"

Everyone turned to Malleus who was doing his best to shout out in anger. Idia trembled, but he approached the dragon prince.

"Well, don't you dare beat yourself over this" Idia spoke with annoyance in his voice, "You weren't the only one who failed. I couldn't save Pina. We know Azul couldn't save Aquamarine either. So, just like us SSR Overblots, we failed together"

Malleus' eyes were wide at Idia's statement with Azul huffing in utter annoyance of agreement. Jamil snickered at Azul's defeat with Idia shaking his head at them.

"I know we are down, but we can't give up" Riddle spoke seriously, "Especially when we have so much on the line. We will need to ring the belle of Salvation again"

"Normally, I would agree with you, but we have other factors to consider now" Azul pointed out, "Even if Rollo is not in control of himself, that curse will know about our previous attempt that was successful and stop us from doing that again. Another factor we have to consider is my dear Aquamarine and Proserpina will be rough opponents to deal with. The last factor we must consider is Yuu. Yuu is arguably the strongest piece in all of this since she has a deep connection to Malleus"

They couldn't argue with the octopus's deduction and points, but they were not going to give up so easily. Though, it was hard to even think of a plan when their friends were in danger.

Ace groaned at their hesitance and shouted, "And I don't know what's more pathetic, us waiting here, or us not doing anything about it when we clearly can!"

Everyone turned to Ace with stunned expressions as the rest of the freshman stood with him. Deuce punched his hand into a palm with Jack simply nodding his head.

"I must agree!" Ortho shouted while hovering above the ground, "We can do this! We've handled stronger and more dangerous tasks! We cannot give up right here and now!"

Epel nodded his head with Najma even joining in.

"My liege, everyone" Sebek spoke seriously, "I know we've caused some trouble, but we know we can make everything right if we act now. Please don't hesitate now when we can do something here and now"

The rest of the students remained silent and before sharing a grin and laugh. The freshman were surprised to hear this.

"What's so funny?!" Ace asked defensively.

"Leave it to Ace to be the one to stand against us" Riddle commented with a knowing grin, "But that makes me proud for him to be my card soldier. I trust everyone else with these freshmen in their dorms agrees"

Everyone turned to Riddle until Azul commented, "Well, not me, but I suppose I do not want to be shown up by them when I am their senior in that regard"

"That means you have a plan already, right, Azul?" Idia asked in a knowing tone as Grim let out a yell and jumped in the center of the group.

"I have a plan since I want to save my henchman!" Grim shouted determinedly.

"Oh?" Malleus asked as he used his magic to raise the monster cat in front of himself, "And what plan is that?"

Grim wasn't sure until he let out a shout and declared, "We drag him out and make him play!"

Azul shook his head with Idia rolling his eyes at the cat, but Malleus hummed in agreement.

"That might work in our favor. Who does he hate the most?" the dragon prince asked as he turned to them with a knowing expression.

Everyone was silent as Ace answered without hesitation, "You"

Deuce smacked his best pal's head while Malleus only laughed in agreement at both Ace is bold statement and his correct answer.

"I know this plan is to save our friend, but I will not let my liege go off on his own. I shall go with him!" Sebek declared with Silver also nodding his head in agreement.

"That should be fine" Azul said as he reworked his plan with Grim's, "Because the rest of us are going to right a wrong. I will save my dear Aquamarine and this time, I will not hesitate to save her"

"Don't count me out either" Idia spoke with his hair blazing red, "I will save my player 2. And I will not leave her alone! None of you noods are going to hold me back!"

"Trust me, I don't think anyone was going to. However, we have one more variable to consider. The maidens and townspeople are locked underneath the school. Some of us will have to release them from their imprisonment"

"I think Jack and I cand handle it" Ruggie reassured with a giggle, "I think I can do something about that!"

Soon enough, they were rallied and prepared themselves to tackle against the curse. Satisfied with their plan coming together, Malleus grinned with magic swirling around them.

"Now, are we ready?" he asked with a grin.

With hearty cheers and yells, everyone was ready and prepared for their plan to be in action.

"Curses!" the cursed Rollo shouted, "Even though that is what I am, I am still beyond furious! My plans are falling apart! Why does everyone want to stop me?!"

The possessed duo glanced to each other and remained alert.

"Because you're kind of an idiot and are not accounting to everything" Yuu spoke in a deadpanned tone as she was sitting on the floor with iron chains wrapped around her, "To be honest, you don't know who you messed with. Also, when all three are eventually freed from you, I would love a front row seat to see the beatdown they give you"

The cursed Rollo snapped his head to her while pointing at her.

"Well, you failed to realize the situation you're in!" the cursed Rollo shouted, "You are the key that I must rid of or use of you in my plans! I will not lose! You will not win!"

Yuu only shook her head at the curse and holding a deadpanned expression. In truth, this was not the most dangerous situation she has ever been in. No, that award goes to being a student at Night Raven College. Also, she knew her friends and Malleus were coming to save her, so again, she had no real reason to worry.

"I really don't" Yuu answered without hesitation, "I know my situation and know what I must do. I do wonder how you will fair once this is all over"

He kneeled before her with a glare and sighed in utter defeat. He waved his hand to have the possessed duo depart from them. The cursed Rollo then tilted her head up to have her gaze at him. She still held a deadpanned expression while his was furious.

"The chains around you are made of iron" he spoke so simply, "If you do not know what that means, then you do not know your situation at all"

While she didn't know what the chains meant, she knew that it wouldn't stop her friends. She only had to wait for them to create their chaos and win with it. That is how they always won in NRC, so why stop now?

The possessed duo made their way to the lower levels of the school and checked to ensure nothing was amiss.

"Ok, so do you see them?" Ruggie asked as Jack looked up and nodded his head, "Ok, so are you sure your unique magic is good to go? You won't be exhausted at all?"

Jack was on all fours before answering with determination, "Yeah, I will be fine. I can handle it. Unleash the Beast!"

He transformed into a giant white wolf and Ruggie hopped on his back. Ace and Najma joined him with Najma wrapping her arms around Ace's stomach.

"So, are we ready?" Ruggie asked seriously with the freshman nodding in agreement, "Good, so let's go!"

Jack took off with Ace and Najma cheering as loudly as they could. The possessed duo turned their attention to them in a surprised manner.

"I still can't believe that your brother let you go!" Ace said in excitement.

"Same here! But he didn't want me near the curse, nor did he want near Azul even though I did want to help Mari!" she said in delight as they were dashing through the halls.

The possessed Proserpina made her move first and created a vine to pull herself towards them. As she swung herself forward, Ortho flew right after her with his cannons ready.

"I am sorry, big sister!" he shouted before firing to cut the vine!

She let out a scream as Rook threw Idia froward and underneath the falling possessed Proserpina. Idia did his best to catch himself and then catch her. He sighed in relief as he caught her before gazing at her intently.

"Sorry about this, Pina" he whispered nervously, "But if I am going to save you, then this will be it"

He leaned in to give her a kiss, but she drew her fist back to deliver a punch to his face! He cried out in pain and dropped her. She pulled herself away before holding herself up.

"Are you ok?" Rook asked as Idia groaned before nodding his head.

"She can heal me" he replied simply as he moved his head up to reveal a bloody nose, "And I know this is nothing compared to what she is going through. No, I can handle it, and I'll be there for her! Everyone! We've got a boss fight before us! This time it is against my love interest! Don't you dare hold me back!"

The possessed Proserpina rolled her eyes at his speech while she heard someone laughing behind her. She didn't see anyone, but she felt magic behind her.

"Got it, Idia!" Deuce shouted as he appeared behind her with magic gathering in his hands, "BET THE LIMIT!"

He threw a punch that was built up from taking the magical attacks from earlier! She raised her arms up and protected herself as best as she could until she felt something wrap around her waist. The laughter was back as well as she turned to see a floating tail and serious glare appear out of thin air.

"Do forgive us, little miss nature" Chenya spoke, "But sometime the greater good requires you to be a little violent and uncoth. Worry not for we shall return you to normal!

She stopped on her foot to make dangle from above them and forcefully pull her up and away. Ortho quickly flew to burn the vines which caused her to land on her feet and face the group.

The possessed Aquamarine rushed to help her, but a handle easily took hers to pull her away from the staircase and keep her on the second floor. Another hand was on her waist, and soon enough, they were waltzing away.

She was confused until she gazed at the person who had his eyes slowly glow a yellow light.

"You know, if you want to be with me after this, I wouldn't mind. I am better than Azul" Jamil spoke in a whisper.

Magic slowly swirled as she gasped at the situation she was in. She quickly created an illusion of herself to slip away and took off running in another direction! Jamil only chuckled as he gave chase to her.

"Mari!" Neige shouted as he stood in her path, "I am sorry to do this, but I would rather have my good friend back than you!"

He cast a few simple grass spells while she easily countered with fire spells. She took a few steps back until she felt a chill tingle her spine.

"I do apologize" Epel spoke from the side as he closed his eyes, "But I want to help my friends and stop this from getting out of hand. Sleep Kiss"

He leaned in with his magic gathering to his hands only for the possessed Aquamarine to create another illusion of herself and fleeing. She looked over her shoulder and didn't pay attention to where she was going and crashed into a person in front of her. The person carefully helped up and never let her go.

"Ah, I knew you would always fall for me, Aquamarine" Azul spoke softly, "But I do hope you'll forgive me. I've kept you waiting, couldn't hear you, and now I must give you a kiss without your consent. However, I feel that you will be lenient with me on that"

The possessed Aquamarine used her unique magic to counter, but he wasn't freezing place!

"I know her magic and abilities better than anyone here" Azul spoke determinedly, "I also know how to counter her as well. Epel's magic is more useful than he realized. Which is why I had him use it on me as a protective barrier. I am sorry, but that will not work on me"

She grunted and pulled her hands back to flee only to realize she was surrounded by them.

"I am sorry, but if you surrender her to us, then this will be painful. If you don't, then we will not hesitate to be rough with you, curse" Azul threatened with his hand out.

The possessed Aquamarine refused as water and illusions were appearing around herself for protection.

Azul returned his hand to his side before confessing, "Well, that is tragic, but I suppose if you cannot see reason, then you will be forced! Do not harm her but bring that curse out of her by any means necessary!"

"Finally!" Epel shouted as he ran forward with Neige following him.

Jamil snickered, "Aw, it is impressive to see the mighty, cold-hearted Azul show some compassion"

Azul only glared with Jamil shrugging, "Well, it doesn't matter I suppose. For now, I shall help you save my friend"

The scheming snake-like student ran on ahead with Azul keeping his distance and waiting for the right moment. Everything has to go according to plan and save her. He was going to hear her now!

"And with that, our school is doing what it does best!" Ruggie commented as they finally reached the basement of the school, "Now, leave everything to me!"

He hopped off Jack's back and held his pen before the magical lock before himself. Ace and Najma were still on Jack's back and waited. Ruggie twisted and moved the pen around to then clicking his tongue a few times. He then slammed the pen at the left side of the lock to the right to shatter it!

"How did you know that would work?" Najma asked impressed.

Ruggie put his hands behind his head as the doors opened before them. "Well, it is a skill I picked up here and there. Though, for my safety, I will not teach you that. Don't want Jamil to come after me. Now, let's get to work and free them!"

They entered the basement and searched for anything that could help them free the students and townspeople. Ace groaned when he didn't see anything helpful as Jack sniffled for anything out of the ordinary. Najma glanced around with Ruggie keeping watch at the front of the door.

"How can something control everyone so easily?" Ace wondered aloud as Jack and Najma gazed up and gasped, "What? Did I say something wrong?"

Najma pointed at the ceiling with Ace following her hand to see a giant, purple sphere hanging from it like a lamp.

"What is that?" Jack wondered as he growled at the sight of it.

Ruggie placed his hands behind his head before racking his head from side-to-side, trying to find an explanation to this.

"You know, Jamil talked about this" Ace commented, "It was during basketball practice, but he mentioned how items with enough magic can be dangerous when left alone and near a bunch of mages. I think this is what he meant"

"I doubt you double that those flowers are inside it too" Ruggie answered finally with a growl, "And now, we will destroy it"

"But how? If we use magic, it will consume that and drain us" Najma pointed out nervously.

Jack shook his head before an idea formed in his head.

"It doesn't like us using our strength" he stated, "So, we need to use physical strength to pull it down. We smash it on the ground and then rip that flower to shreds. Does that sound good to everyone?"

"Oh, heck yeah it does!" Ace shouted with a grin.

"Ruggie! Get on my back!" Jack ordered as Ruggie didn't like where this was going, "You're going to pull it off the ceiling. Ace and I will shatter it. Najma will get the flower out of here and then tear it to shreds with our help!"

The beastman wasn't sure about this, but he also knew they didn't have time to think too long on this. If they have a plan, then they will need to use it. Even if the idea is outrageous and could get him killed. He sighed in defeat and reluctantly got on Jack's back again.

"Fine, but if this kills me, I will not forgive you! You will not get my money either!" Ruggie shouted, "Also, Leona pays for my funeral!"

Ace flashed a thumbs up with Najma only nodding her head in agreement. Jack ran back to get a running start to then running as fast as he could towards the room. He jumped as high as he could and threw Ruggie towards the magical device hanging from the ceiling! Ruggie let out a yell as he ran and grabbed the device. He pulled with all his might to break it free and fall backwards!

"Ah!" Ruggie screamed as Jack jumped again to grab his vice dorm leader while Ace grabbed the device.

Jack quickly and carefully dropped Ruggie on the floor before Ace raised the device above his head. Jack rushed to Ace's aid and transformed back to himself. Using both their strengths, they let out a yell and slammed the device on the stony floor! It shattered as the magic burst from it to reveal the flower! Najma quickly grabbed it and bolted from the room with Ace following her. She tore it as she ran. Once she was outside, she threw it on the floor and then continued to rip it apart. Ace and Jack joined her and destroyed the flower! A red and purple magic burst and disappeared from it. The room slowly returned to normal with the people waking up! Jack transformed again to have all three climbed on his back. They quickly escaped with Ace cheering.

"Ha-ha!" he cheered, "Eat it, Rollo! You can't stop us!"

Najma sighed before explaining, "It wasn't him. It is the curse. You do remember that, right?"

"Whatever! We did it and that's all that matters if you ask me!" Ace cheered with Jack sighing.

They rushed out of the school, and Najma held her phone to text everyone that they were successful in freeing the people as well as destroying the device from underneath the school.

Idia saw the skull glowing a blue light and let Ortho handled it as Deuce threw another magical spell towards the possessed Proserpina. She retaliated by having vines wrap around and squeeze him! Deuce struggled to breath as Chenya and Rook rushed to help him.

"Excuse me, mademoiselle de fleurs, but I will not let you hurt my fellow student!" Rook shouted as he swung his pen to cast a fire spell to burn the vines holding Deuce.

Chenya appeared to catch Deuce who gasped in some air as Ortho flew behind his big brother. Both shared a nod before using their duo magic with the possessed Proserpina occupied.

"I'm going in! Get back, Ortho!" Idia spoke as he let his magic flow throughout his body.

"Nothing's impossible for my big brother!" Ortho shouted as he gave his big brother a boost in magic.

Running towards her in a dash, fire and darkness burst and dripped from him. He gathered his fire and dark magic to his hands before holding his hands out. Just as the possessed Proserpina turned around, Idia finally unleashed a ring of fire and darkness around himself and her! Ortho flew to grab Rook to get away from the spell. Ortho and Rook were hovering in the air as Chenya tended to Deuce.

"Well, everything's up to Idia now" Deuce spoke with a grin.

"Hehe, if anything the Watchman of the Underworld is always watchful over his Goddess of Nature" Chenya spoke in confidence, "There is nothing to fear"

Ortho watched intently, wishing he was there to help, but he knew his big brother could save his big sister.

The possessed Proserpina was slowly grower weaker with the intense heat and darkness. A clear contrast to both of her main elements. She was weakly holding herself up as Idia made sure his spell was still holding as he approached her.

"I am sorry about this, Pina" Idia spoke determinedly, "But this is it. We need to bring this boss fight to an end!"

He ran towards her as she weakly held up her fists in retaliation only to be caught off guard when Idia gave her a tight hug! He wouldn't let her go as she weakly struggled against his warm body. For some reason, she felt a warm wave of safeness that made her exhausted.

"Sorry again" Idia spoke softly, "I know you've done so much for me and continue to do so. However, this time you are trusting me to help you. Well, I am here, so here I go"

He gently placed a left hand on her face to hold hers up. He whispered another apology before he pressed his lips against hers softly. His other hand slowly reached for hers to give a gentle squeeze. Idia wasn't expecting her to grip his hand back in a familiar manner. With his love, the spell was broken and the cursed finally released Pina.

"Ah, thank you, Idia" she whispered before collapsing and leaning against him.

Idia did let out a yelp before waving his hand to make the fire and darkness disappear to then gently holding her. They sat down on the tile floors as she finally fell asleep and rested against her boyfriend.

The rest rushed around the couple with Idia holding a sweet expression that did show his little fangs. Ortho did a quick scan and examined both until he was relieved. They were magical exhausted with high blot levels, but it wasn't dangerous. They were just in time to save Proserpina.

"Oh, what joy!" Chenya expressed, "The watchman did save the goddess!"

"Idia, you're seriously so cool!" Deuce expressed with a grin, "I can't help but admire you!"

"Roi du chambre is fantastic! How romantic that he rushed to save his lover! Beaut!" Rook commended in delight.

Idia's hair flashed with pink and purple as he tried to hide his embarrassment while Ortho only smiled and checked on his big sister again to see her holding a smile as well.

"Seriously, her illusions are more powerful than before. How is this possible?" Jamil commented as he set another one on fire only for it to evaporate.

Epel cast another spell to defeat another illusion with Neige standing behind both of them and casting his shield to protect and heal them. Regardless, they were growing exhausted and couldn't keep this up forever. Besides them, the possessed Aquamarine could feel her control waive. She wouldn't be able to hold her vessel for longer.

Azul noticed this as well as he was standing beside Jamil with an idea forming in his head.

"We are almost there, but I have a deal for you, Jamil" Azul spoke with interest in his voice.

Jamil only glared back at him to silence the octomer.

"Trust me, I will return it to you. If we want to get out of this and save her, then please trust my plan for once. I don't like this anymore than you do" Azul commented with Jamil holding a glare still.

"No, you're enjoying this" Jamil replied with a knowing tone, "But I do care for her. I still believe she is too good for someone like you. Fine, what do you want with my unique magic?"

"I shall borrow it" Azul answered as he held his hand out, "Once I am finished, I shall return it to you. I know she would want me to do that as well. She wouldn't let me live it down if I didn't. I can't have that now, can I?"

Although Jamil wouldn't mind if Aquamarine did break up with Azul, he also knew she did love him which he could not understand. With Jamil grabbing Azul's wrist, he rolled his eyes and waited for him to use his unique magic.

"Ah, thank you, Jamil. It is deal!" Azul sang in delight as a flash of light covered their hands.

With that, Azul had Jamil's unique magic before Jamil ran around to cast fire against the water illusions. Neige protected Epel as best as he could, but with more illusions appearing, it was harder for him to do. Epel was slowly getting exhausted as well and was even thinking of using his unique magic to protect Neige and Jamil.

"Right, well, I suppose I shouldn't keep them waiting anymore" Azul spoke before turning to run in the opposite direction and towards the possessed Aquamarine, "Now, that's enough waiting. I am coming to you"

He made sure to keep his distance from her and let Jamil handle her magic. With enough water falling on the floor, Azul took off his shoes and felt the water with his feet. He took a deep breath in before summoning his tentacles to his side! Jamil eyed the tentacles as Azul took simple steps to them. Raising his hand, Azul had his tentacles strike the illusions in a strong hit! The possessed Aquamarine was caught off guard as she took a few steps back and fell into the grasp of one tentacle! She struggled as it pulled her towards Azul. Taking off his gloves, he gently held her face as she glared at him.

"I do apologize for this unruly behavior" Azul spoke softly, "But I would prefer to have my lady returned to me than let you use her anymore"

She prepared to use Aquamarine's unique magic again, but Azul's eyes flashed a golden light.

"The one you behold is your master" Azul spoke slowly, "When I ask you a question, you will answer. When I give you a command, you will assent. Snake Charmer!"

As he spoke the spell's words, the possessed Aquamarine stared into his golden eyes with hints of blue flowing through it. She could only obey him now. Azul sighed in relief as he found her under his control and not the curse anymore.

"I also apologize for this. I would rather have prepared a fine date that those twins would've most likely ruined. Regardless, if it must be the oldest trick, ah I mean, cure in the books, then I shall use it" Azul explained before whispering another apology to then giving her a kiss.

A lovely kiss poured care and concerns into her to drive the curse out of her. She sighed in relief before collapsing. Azul was relieved as well before retracting his tentacles to then holding her close to him. Her spells disappeared as well as Azul felt relief. Neige, Jamil, and Epel ran towards the couple.

"Is she ok?!" Neige asked with worry.

"She's fine" Azul reassured them with a small smile, "The curse is finally out of her. I can't believe I will say this, but I know she would want me to say this. Thank you for helping us"

Epel felt pride for that with Neige reassuring Azul that he wouldn't hesitate to help them. Jamil only rolled his eyes before holding his hand out to the ocotomer.

"That's nice, but it was a loan. Give it back. Or would you rather I tell you didn't?" Jamil asked in a knowing tone as Azul shook his head at him.

"Oh, do relax. I had every intention of returning your unique magic to you" Azul said with a wave of his hand as it glowed blue, "Well, the deal is done, and the sun has set. The deal is sealed"

With that, Jamil sighed in relief when he felt his unique magic returned to him. Their part of the plan was finished as they finally had a moment to take a break. All that is left for Malleus and Yuu to stop and save Rollo from the curse.

Malleus stormed into the school with Silver and behind him. Still wearing their fancy outfits, but ready for anything and willing to do anything to save Yuu. They must stick to the plan, even if he didn't want to. They could only hear their steps until a figure approached them.

"Rollo" Malleus snarled as he clenched his fists, "Where is Yuu?"

"My, my prince. Aren't you impatient?" the cursed Rollo said with a shake of his head before snapping his fingers.

A few shadows appeared, making Silver gasp. The shadows were holding Yuu. She didn't appear to be hurt, but she was frustrated with her predicament. She seemed tense as she faced her partner and his knight.

"Yuu!" Malleus said in relief as he grinned rushed to her only to be pulled back by Silver, "Why?!"

Silver trembled a little, staring at Yuu's form. Malleus didn't want to hurt his knight, but he wanted to reach her. She could see this too and wanted to run to him, but she knew she couldn't. Not in this state.

"Malleus!" she shouted, a rarity to using his real name, "Don't come near me, please"

"But... why?" he uttered in disbelief as he noticed her expression looking down and gasped in a frightened manner.

She was chained in iron. Even if he did reach her, he would get burnt from the iron holding her figure. What a wicked curse whose laughing echoing around them. Silver slowly let go of Malleus, once he realized he couldn't reach her.

Noticing Malleus and his knight were focused on Yuu, the cursed formed a wicked idea to throw both off. The cursed then held Yuu's face, making Malleus tense. Yuu tried to pull her face back, but the cursed Rollo was much more forceful than her. He leaned his face to hers as she held a glare.

He couldn't understand it. How could a maiden, not tainted by magic, fall for the magic possessed by absolute lunatics? He, on the other hand, used his abilities to spread the terror of it with order. Why couldn't she see this?! His gripped tightened as she let out a whimper, snapping him back to his task. He loosened his grip, but he still held her face.

"A maiden who managed to thwart my plan. A devout should be in the presence of those without your tainted magic" the cursed Rollo spoke softly with darkness hiding behind it as he then glanced with a smirk to see Malleus' expression darken.

The cursed Rollo then took a few strands of her hair to sniff, making Malleus furious as he clutched his hands, and Silver draw his magic pen. Both could see Yuu was uncomfortable with him doing this to her and wanted nothing more than to free her from his clutches. The curse chuckled as he then turned forward, but he left his hand holding Yuu's face. He could easily play Malleus like the fool he was.

"Here are my demands, fae" the cursed explained darkly while pointing right at Malleus, "Surrender your magic and ghastly form by remaining trapped behind the iron bars built by the hands of man where a creature of darkness should remain with their tainted magic. Or, you shall see the maiden fall!"

Yuu's eyes were wide with concern for Malleus as Silver gripped his wand tightly. Malleus felt frozen. He knew humans and other magical beings feared him, but do they fear him this much? His eyes fell to Yuu who wasn't giving up without a fight. She was still struggling, much to Rollo's annoyance and frustration. Malleus felt some relief to have a partner who refuse to give up in a fight. He felt his worries, but he knew what he had to do. After all, if his child of man wasn't going to give up, then why should he? He also had his friends to help him as well. This deal wouldn't last compared to Azul's, so Malleus took a deep breath and knew to trust her and their friends.

"Very well" Malleus answered as he took a step forward with his princely voice he used for meetings and bargains, "But Yuu is not to be harmed. If either she is, I will break the chains you place and come for you. My knights will also come for you as well along with my friends. I believe I've made some powerful ones at that too. Do I make myself clear, priest?"

The cursed smirked as Yuu looked up with a stunned expression. She tried to lunge forward, only to find the chains and darkness holding her back. Malleus couldn't do this! He is the strongest, smartest mage of their time! He can't let that curse control him! Not when she could do something about it!

"Malleus! No!" she yelled as the cursed sighed and tied a cloth around her mouth to silence her.

He patted her cheek as she could only growl at him. Malleus' eyes were narrowed as he faced the priest.

The cursed held his hand out to Malleus and asked, "Do we have a deal, fae?"

Malleus held a gentle expression to Yuu and promised, "Everything will be alright, my treasure. As for you, priest, I accept"

Malleus held his hand out with a cold expression as his emerald eyes shined a green glint while the cursed Rollo's pale blue eyes countered with a malicious, calculating delight. Silver would've put himself between his prince, but he restrained himself. He had to for the plan. It would work out. He knew it will. Yuu's eyes were staring at their hands, trying to think of a solution to stop this. Malleus was calm, trusting in their plan and readying himself for anything. The cursed Rollo could only smirk with pride as he could feel his plan almost being achieved. Malleus' hand reaches for the cursed Rollo as everyone held their breaths.

Suddenly, lightning appeared and struck the darkness holding Yuu! She fell as Silver rushed toward with his pen that transformed into a sword.

"What?!" the cursed Rollo asked as he summoned his staff.

"Living Volt!" Sebek roared as he jumped from the second floor and slammed his sword against the staff, "Get away from my liege and my fellow classmate!"

"Over the fiery pits of hell!" the cursed Rollo snapped as Silver swiftly cut the iron chains holding Yuu.

The cursed Rollo growled as he pushed Sebek back and turned to see Malleus rushed to Yuu to embrace her in relief. He checked to see if she was harmed by the chains. Before the cursed Rollo could cast his spells, he failed to notice Riddle behind him, holding a scepter to the cursed Rollo's head.

"Checkmate" Riddle answered simply as the cursed Rollo gasped and dropped his staff to raising his hands.

Malleus gently pushed Yuu behind him before raising his hand before himself with Grim landing behind the curse.

"Cat! Are you ready?!" Malleus shouted as magic gathered to his hand.

"I am not a cat!" Grim shouted with magic gathering to him.

Together, they unleashed a duo magic of darkness to forcefully pull the curse out of Rollo! He let out a frightening scream as Yuu took a running start and tackled the unconscious Rollo away from the darkness that burst from him! Sebek and Silver rushed to pull them away before Malleus and Grim used their powers to break the curse to prevent it from having a physical form, causing it to disperse above them. With a snap of his fingers, Malleus created a barrier to protect everyone in the school. A powerful, whirlwind of darkness swirled violently to then breaking into pieces.

Everyone stared at the shattering darkness as it slowly disappeared from their vision. Malleus kept the barrier up, but Grim was the first one to let out a hearty cheer of triumph. Sebek soon joined in with Silver finally falling asleep in relief. Yuu finally held a grin with Malleus only breathed in relief before dispelling his barrier. Riddle examined the unconscious Rollo as Yuu stood up to stretch and approach Malleus who held his hand out to her.

"Are you ok, Hornton?" she asked with a grin that never faltered and was strong.

Taking her hand and holding a smile of his own, "Yes, I am, my child of man. Something tells me that everything is going to be fine since we are here and together"
