"Mary is it me or that woman looks like you" yoo-ri said as Mary-chae took a step closer examining the portrait.

At the bottom of the portrait Kim chae-ri was written. Having almost the same name with her, Kim Mary-chae. This was all creepy for her and her friend didn't help lessen it or make her feel at ease.

"During king wongjong reign in the era 1258-1274, in Goreyo. The people had believed that a "Demi god", Kim chae-ri, with the most fairest skin of all and beauty which no woman could match was sent to help uplift them and create a brighter days for there future children. She performed "magic" of the gods and also had the greatest knowledge that supersede all human kind at that era.  Kim chae-ri married the crown prince as his consort and many women hated her for that but that was not the only thing she was going to be worried about. 
When she became the queen, everything changed.  She loved the prince dearly but was heart broken when her husband married another woman just after ten months into there marriage.
The thing is he never loved her he already loved someone but he saw her as a conquest since he hadn't had her in bed and also she was a "Demi god". In all the news that travelled in the isolated palace, her husband sleeping with women and going to brothel.
The only news that broke her heart was the news of the second marriage after he promised her he would never.  She was already pregnant for the king with thier first son but he never cared.
The new bride which was the king through love made the palace a living hell for her and she couldn't leave the life and pretend to the people anymore so she took the liberty to end her life with her child.".

Park ji-min explained.

"So in your former life you where some kind of royalty or something? Wow cool!" yoo-ri said squealing and jumping. "but the ending was tragic though but see the good side,  lots of money!".

Mary-chae rolled her eyes and looked at her friend in this believe. She flicked Yoo-ri's to make sure she heard exactly what happened to the queen.

"You know that is ridiculous. I wish I was the one or a real relative then I wouldn't have to work again for the rest of my life to earn a dime. The prince can go to hell,  I'm not wasting my life and that of my child's life on him. " Mary-chae said dismissively as she dragged yoo-ri so they wouldn't loose park ji-min as he began moving forward.

"If anyone ever had that power I hope they don't change the past, it changes the future." yoo-ri panicked as she held her friends arm. "I might not exist, the whole of Korea could vanish I mean this town could be. Called another name,  no civilization! I.. "

"God calm down yoo-ri. You worry a lot" Mary-chae said as she gave worried glances to Yoo-ri. " I don't believe in that and beside it's never gonna happen" she said laughing.

Yoo-ri and Mary-chae went to the newly opened mesum since it was their day off and Yoo-ri's boyfriend, park ji-min worked at the museum.

Surprisingly Mary-chae enjoyed her day in the museum with Yoo-ri and it was just the afternoon so they went to the docks. All was going fine until a strong and strange wind  storm started and dark clouds appeared. The water was already rising with current and it wasn't safe for anyone to be near it. 

Yoo-ri had already gone to get her purse from the car so she didn't have to worry about her but then she saw Yoo-ri at the other end helping a little kid who might have gotten lost when everybody paniced.

Mary-chae started running to yoo-ri but then a bird landed on her head and immediately a gust of wind pushed her and she lost balance sending her into the raging water. 

Mary-chae couldn't swim so she struggled as she could but she kept sinking down and down.  She wondered if she was going to die this way and who would take care of Yoo-ri.

Yoo-ri couldn't run their store alone and needed help.
They both ran Mary-chae's family business which had grown big and wide over the years.

Yoo-ri looked over the parts  that included cooking of different flavours of food and baking of crunches.
While the other part which Mary-chae looked over was making of  different types of candles, soap, cream and appliances and selling of medical implements.

She went to medical school but couldn't graduate because she couldn't handle seeing bodies or too much blood but she included it as part of her family business.

Mary-chae wasn't married either and didn't have kids to pass the business too. She wondered what her parents would think of her as she goes to meet them now,probably a disappointment.

Mary-chae eyes finally closed and the last thing she saw was the same bird again but noticed a strange marking on the stomach before she finally passed out due to lost of air.

Could this be her end already...
