IMAGINE THOR CONFESSING HIS LOVE TO YOU.

He was completely and utterly in love with you. He loved how you laughed, how your eyes sparkled with enthusiasm when you talked about something you held dear, how polite you were towards everyone... he swore by his father's name that you were his greatest love. And he had decided to confess it to you.

But still... Thor hadn't been sure if it had been a good idea to go forward and ask you to come to the courtyard of the palace. What if you wouldn't like his confession - what if it came out creepy to you, what if you saw him more like a brother instead of a lover? What if he'd scare you away by confessing his feelings for you? These weren't familiar thoughts to him, he was almost always so sure about everything and he thought that having strong love towards someone like this couldn't get him to change his behavior that much. But having a goofy smile plastered on his face whenever he saw you, even a glimpse of you, told a different story. He longed to have you in his arms, to kiss you, being able to say it to everyone that you were his love.

So when he saw you walking down the palace stairs, he licked his lips, trying to gather himself to say something.

"Y/N, you look lovely today", Thor grinned at you and you nodded at him as a thank you.

"You don't look so bad yourself."

Silence engulfed you, leaving you staring at each other for a long while, before Thor groaned. "I've been meaning to tell something to you - but no one told me it's this hard."

You raised your eyebrows and after a moment of silence, you let out a burst of stifled laughter. "Mighty god Thor and he doesn't know how to tell something to people? I never believed I'd live to see this day."

Thor gave out a sheepish smile, and silence ensued again. Thor squeezed his eyes shut and opened them with a sigh. "I've come to realize that I've fallen in love with you."

Your smile faltered and eyes widened in shock as blood rushed up to your cheeks - you would have never guessed that Thor would have fallen for you, to reciprocate your feelings you had tried to bury away for the longest of time. So a careful smile had plastered on your face without you even noticing it.

"You know what Thor... I... I think I feel the same way."
