When Scott had signed the papers and you walked away from the social workers with your now official dad, you felt surreal. You had spent so many years at the different orphanages that you had started to doubt if you'd ever find a home. But there you were, walking to Scott's house as Y/N Lang, Scott Lang's child.

"You have a big sister, like I've told you." Scott smiled just before he opened the door. "Her name is Cassie and she's very excited to meet you."

He opened the door, and you looked around the hallway - kitchen peeked from the left, living room from the right - and in front of you, there was a hallway, and soon you saw a girl who was around 16 years old standing there. Her face brightened up the moment she saw you and you knew instantly that it was Cassie.

"You're Y/N?" Cassie smiled at you warmly and without any further talking, she came up to hug you. "Welcome home, I'm so glad to have a little sister."

You were surprised at this sudden gesture of affection, but you slowly returned the hug - and this warm welcome was enough for you to already feel like you're home. This was home, this was where you'd belong.
