Peter was always busy with his Spidey stuff, and lately it felt like he was ignoring you even harder. Sometimes you doubted if it was really the Spidey stuff or if he just didn't care anymore.

Maybe you overreacted or expected too much from him, but one day you just had to say it.

"Do I matter to you anymore?"

Peter looked up to you from his bowl of cereal, his eyes wide. "What?"

"You're never here. We never spend time together. You come to sleep and leave after breakfast." you muttered as put your glass of water down, trying to make the tears not making their way to your eyes.

"I'm sorry. I just... I have to clean up this mess Mysterio made. Y/N, you're the one I want." he told you, taking a hold of your hands. "I know I have made like, a million mistakes but... you'll always be the one I want at the end of the day."

You offered him a shaky smile, letting go of his hand to wipe your eyes. "I'm being overdramatic, I'm sorry."

He handed you a tissue. "Don't be sorry. I know that I haven't been the best boyfriend for you. I promise that once this all is over... I'll make it up to you."

You smiled at Peter, already feeling much better about it. Peter would never abandon you, but on times like these you needed to be reminded about it.
