You were late. Very late. It wasn't like you to be this late.

You and Kurt had agreed to go on a walk together every Friday evening to admire the sunset. For Kurt, the real reason was to get to spend time with you, his crush. But now you were late. Had you forgotten?

He teleported to your room's door and knocked lightly, but no sound was heard from the other side. He teleported around he house for a while, but didn't seem to find you from anywhere.

"Do you know where Y/N is?" Kurt asked Jubilee as she was passing by. Jubilee smiled and nodded towards the library.

There you were, a book on your belly and your eyes closed, quietly snoring. You looked so peaceful, and Kurt found himself hoping that he would be able to wake up one day and see that face as the first thing when he'd open his eyes. Maybe one day, it would be reality and not just a dreamy scenario.

Kurt made his way to you as quietly as he could, gently removing the book from your hands and moving the bookmark to the page which was open, before he took a blanket from another couch and draped it over you, making you stir in your sleep. He stilled, for a moment being afraid that he had woken you up. But you just let out a slight hum, a small smile on your lips before you returned to your quiet snoring. Kurt sighed in relief and then smiled, picking up a book of his own and settling himself on the couch beside from yours, laying admiring glances your way every so often.

This wasn't the way he had planned the day to go, but he liked it all the same, if not even more.
