- Peter and you befriended in the daycare.

- He just came to you within the first weeks and said "hey, wanna play with me and my friend Ned? We have some super cool Star Wars toys."

- You didn't expect to make friends so fast - if you'd make friends at all since you were so shy.

- But you accepted the offer and soon you, Peter and Ned were sitting at the corner of the playroom, making Luke Skywalker toy to lunge into action as he saved all his friends.

- You and Peter became close really fast, something just clicked between you two.

- Ned was also your good friend but you and Peter had exactly the same sense of humor.

- Growing up together made you a bit bolder than you were as a child - but some amount of shyness stuck with you, as it was part of you

- Flash could tease you about it but Peter was quick to retort back if he noticed him talking to you while you tried to get away.

- Wondering about his strange disappearings and neck-rubbing when he tried to explain at your birthday party that he had forgotten your birthday present after disappearing for 15 minutes, not knowing you had seen the present in his backpack (which he had left to your room).

- But you had figured he had something going on with Liz, his long-time crush, and he had not told you because he wasn't sure if it would work in the end.

- Eventually finding out he's Spider-Man after you saw a part of his suit peeking from his backback where he had shoved it in a hurry after Aunt May had told Peter that you were at the door, and suddenly it all made sense.

- Peter told you not to tell anyone, not even Ned - if his identity came to the light to anyone, his loved ones could be in danger.

- And of course, you agreed to keep your mouth shut even though it meant lying to Ned every once in a while.

- But Ned finding out in the end after all.

- He kinda was hurt that you had lied to him about Peter's whereabouts, but Peter stood up to you, telling Ned that he had told you to keep quiet.

- Helping him after he develops a crush on MJ.

- Gushing about how cute two of them would be together and dropping hints to Peter while MJ is around and if MJ hears, you both would be bright red because you actually didn't mean MJ to hear, you just wanted to tease your best friend.

- If you have a crush? Peter's helping you with it, not even a question.

- He might tease you too about it, but stops on that instant if you ask him to. He knows how embarrassed and uncomfortable you could get.

- Peter's working with you to get you be bolder if you want.

- But if you're fine with your shyness and it won't prevent you from doing things you have to do (like calling the doctor without help if needed etc), he of course won't force you to do anything about it.

- Because after all, your shyness was one of the things which made Peter come to you - he saw that you didn't have enough courage to ask anyone to play with you at the daycare, so he asked you to play with him. If you had been bolder, you could have made other friends and maybe not getting to know Peter at all.

- He treasures you as his other best friend, loving how he could guide you to meet new people so you would have other friends along Peter and Ned.

- And you, in return, love him for that. Now you had friends, and things had changed a lot since that time at the daycare.
