Okay, so this is a little sad but so cute! Not kidding I woke up at 3 am and had this whole chapter thought out! Don't ask me how XD

Empty.

Thats all I could feel. I wasn't sad, I wasn't mad, and I wasn't even scared. All I felt was emptiness.

Why would such a cruel thing happen to such an amazing person. Why would she be taken out of this world so quick.

My mother was the most kind person you could ever meet. Her smile, oh her beautiful smile. One you could spot out of a group of 100 people. Her smile could brighten a whole room.

Her smile would always meet her shining hazel eyes. They were never half-hearted, always so full.

She wasn't some movie star but still, everyone who met her, would never forget that friendly face.

Even after my father left, my mother never once got mad. She always had this glow around her, spreading the word of God and sharing her life's happy moments.

She was so youthful, always doing something. She could never sit still. Either she was out with friends or tending to her beautiful garden.

No one expected this so soon.

So here I was, standing at my mothers grave. The funeral had just ended and almost everyone was gone, but not me. No, I couldn't just leave her alone. Not yet.

Even though I felt empty I could feel the tears stream down my face in a steady pace. Then I felt something.

Pain. It hit me hard in the chest almost making me topple over, but a hand on my shoulder steadied me before I could.

I turned around, lip quivering, seeing Loki there.

Seeing his face just hit me in the heart and I just let go. Sobbing I hugged him like he was my life line, and in some ways he was.

He strokes my hair and kissed my head, "shh love, its okay." He whispered.

I pulled back hiccuping, "no, no its not!" I said hitting his chest. "Why would someone so sweet, so kind, so-so perfect be taken away so soon!" I yelled, my breath getting caught in my throat.

"Look at me," He said caressing my face, but I couldn't. I just couldn't let him see the pain that filled my eyes.

"Love, look at me, please." He says putting both hands on my face, giving me no choice but to look into his eyes.

Surprised, I could see his eyes lined with tears. He had only met my mother once, but somehow, they just clicked. Funny enough, they loved talked a lot about plants and my mother even showed him her garden.

I sniffed still looking into his eyes and I caught my breath.

"Why did she have to go." I croaked out.

"Darling, tell me. If heaven was a rose garden full of life, the pretty, the ugly. Which rose would you pick?"

I knew I didn't have to think much about this. And Loki was right.

"The most beautiful one."

Sorry this is so short but I thought is was cute? Also having a rough time at the moment so this was nice to write.

Compared to the other chapters this was really short XD
