Tossing his book bag into the corner of his bedroom, Peter sighed. He still had a hard time comprehending the fact that he lived here-at Stark Freaking Tower-while Aunt May was away. Mr. Stark had sent her on vacation for a month after she'd collapsed from overwork. Peter wished he could have done something to ease her workload even though he knew he was probably just adding to her stress by getting hurt all the time.
Upon hearing the familiar 'thump' of feet hitting the floor, Peter sat down on his bed and glared at Clint-who had just dropped down from the vent.
"Where've you been? Supposed to have been home an hour ago. You know how Tony gets when you're late," the archer scolded.
Peter gave a chuckle and collapsed backwards onto his bed. "I was at Powderpuff practice. Just got back- and before you ask, yes, Mr. Stark knows I was there."
Clint was silent for a moment. Then, "Powderpuff?"
Peter jolted upright. "Yeah! How can you not know what it is!?"
"I know what it is!" Clint huffed, "I just don't remember."
"Sure," Peter smirked, "It's girl's football where the boys cheerlead. It's a lot of fun."
"So you," Clint started, smile on his lips, "will be dressing up as a cheerleader? In a pink tutu I hope?"
"Yep! Pom-Poms and all!"
"I'll have to see this. When's the game?"
"I'm not telling you~" Peter teased.
Clint smirked. "Oh yeah?" He asked before running at Peter in an attempt to grab the boy. He intended to initiate a tickle-fight which would have probably escalated to a tickle-war had Peter not leapt onto the celling and stuck.
"Nyah~" Sticking out his tongue Peter crawled along the celling and out the door into the hallway. The steady 'thump thump thump' of Clint chasing after him caused him to run faster.
Peter didn't look very athletic but holy heck could he run. It probably had something to do with the super-strength, but right now Peter could care less why he ran this fast-he only cared that he could.
At some point he turned around and ran backwards so he could make faces at Clint.
'This was a mistake' Peter thought as he slammed into the wall. "Owwwww," he groaned.
"I've got you now, Spider-Kid!" Clint had made it halfway to Peter when the archer slammed into a seemingly invisible wall. Peter could see it though, outlined in a faint green hue.
"Thanks Loki," Peter called out, suppressing a laugh.
"Of course." Loki appeared out of nowhere, smirk present on his face.
Loki had always liked Peter. It was a combination of the fact that his body temperature was higher than normal because of his advanced metabolism and Loki liking to take the form of a snake. Reptiles-including snakes-loved the extra heat and Peter could usually be seen parading around some creature or another.
When Peter made eye contact with Loki he nodded and in a flash of green light Loki was gone-or rather, curled around his neck in snake form.
Clint was still looking very confused halfway down the hallway and Peter took advantage of that, choosing to head downstairs and avoid Clint for the time being.
As he neared the elevator he realized he was still in his sweat drenched clothes. He clapped his hands twice and his clothes were cleaned-one of the spells Loki had taught him. He hadn't really thought to use a dehydration spell like this, but it worked. The outfit was a bit wrinkly but it wasn't sweaty and it didn't smell-that wasn't from the spell, but rather an air freshener he grabbed off of the common room coffee table. They had one there for when someone had just come back from the training room-you would too if you'd ever smelled a sweaty avenger.
Entering the elevator Peter asked F.R.I.D.A.Y to take him to Bruce's lab. "Of course Arachnikid."
"Thanks Fri. Also, who changed my name? Was it Shuri? I bet it was Shuri."
"You're correct Arachnikid. Shuri says that if you complain she'll change it to Bi-der Man."
Peter groaned. "Thanks Fri," he mumbled. 'I'll change it later' he thought.
The elevator dinged and the doors opened, allowing Peter to step out onto Bruce's Floor. At the sound a couple of scientists looked up and gave him a smile before going back to work.
Peter was recognizable around the tower and most people knew him by name(though he couldn't say he knew theirs). Mainly because he was always with Mr. Stark. Turns out, if you spend a lot of time around a billionaire, you get pretty recognizable.
Not that Peter wanted to be recognizable, but it sure was a lot easier to move around in the tower when you weren't being stopped by security every five minutes.
Peter walked over to Bruce's desk with a wave. "Hey Bruce."
"Hello Peter," the Scientist greeted with a warm smile, "Perfect timing. I was wondering if you could take care of one of the lizards we're running tests on. It's got cancer and so we're studying the effects of the radiation on it's body. It's close to death though and we wondered-"
"-If I'd help make it's last days it's best? Of course I will!" Peter responded with a smile.
"Fantastic!" Bruce got up and led Peter over to the side of the room where he saw a bright orange Bearded Dragon, or more specifically a Central Bearded Dragon. "His name is Toddithica. I didn't come up with it," Bruce defended, picking up Toddithica and setting him on Peter's head.
Toddithica settled in Peter's hair, his claws tangling in the brunette locks. "Cool," he said, "Ready to have the best days of your life?"
He took the lizard's silence as a yes.

As Peter entered the school on Monday he got a lot of strange looks.
"Peter," Ned started before trailing off.
"Yes, I realize there is a snake curled around my neck. That's Loki. He won't hurt anyone if I tell him not too."
"And he's here because..?"
"He's clingy." The python gave an indignant hiss before coiling tighter around Peter's neck. Not in a way that would hurt him, but actually made him more comfortable.
He'd barely made it into class before being sent to the office. Really though, who in their right mind would let a kid bring a python into class.
When Tony got there he just shook his head and the two left, but not before freaking out Flash by letting Loki come dangerously close to 'eating' him(Flash is just an overdramatic prissy though).
And just in case you were wondering, Clint did show up to the Powderpuff game.
And got in on video.
And showed it to the team.
Great.
