"Why on Gaia are we doing a Disney themed dance of all things?" Piper groaned, flopping onto a bed in the Zeus Cabin.

Every year since the Giant War, Camp Half-Blood has hosted a different themed dance to take off most of the nerves of training, quests, and the fear of another war. The year of the Giant War they did a Prom theme, the year after a pastel theme, and this year they were doing a Disney theme.

The seven, plus Calypso, Will, and Nico were in the Zeus Cabin figuring out what they were going to wear.

"Well Pipes, it's probably because Disney is easy," Percy said, sitting in a swivel chair, happily spinning around in circles.

"The dance goes form five until three in the morning," Annabeth said, taking notes, "We could split it off into two halves, five hours each costume, the first five hours can be for whatever we want, and the next five hours be glamourous royalty."

Everyone muttered words of agreement and discussed what they were going to be, of course, the couples wanted their royalty to match, but there was trouble in that for one couple.

"How are we gonna be Disney royalty, and still have a couple's costume?" Nico said, throwing his hands into the air, the two boys were sitting on a bed, and Nico nearly hit Will in the face.

"Well, we can stretch it," Will suggested, "Marvel is technically Disney, right?"

Nico's eye went wide when he realized what Will was suggested, "Wait, you don't mean, you aren't telling me-"

"We should be Thor and Loki!"

Nico smacked his face with his palm as his cheeks started to flush, "Oh gods Will, you're such an IDIOT."

Will grinned, delighted to get this reaction out of Nico, "Yes I know, and I'm you're idiot, and that's a good difference."

Nico smiled slightly and pecked Will on the cheek, "Yeah whatever."

Everyone else wrapped up their conversations and went to their own cabins (or their significant other's cabins in some cases) to sleep

A few days went by, and it was finally time for the dance. The forest nymphs had cleared away space in their forest near the lake and camp, that was completely free of monsters and set up a beautiful Enchanted Forest type feel to it. There were fairy lights strung everywhere in bright whites and rosy pinks, the tables were beautiful light brown wood tables that grew right up from the grown, there were flower bushes everywhere ranging from bright pinks to dark purples, there was a dance floor of soft grass that was just the perfect shade of green, and there were beautifully carved and painted wooden canoes on the lake that really completed the aesthetic.

The Seven plus Will, Nico, and Calypso had volunteered to help out along with Clarisse, Chiron, the nymphs, Chris, Travis, Connor, Katie, and Miranda. 

Annabeth was in an adorable Alice costume, with her honey-blonde hair half-tied up in a puffy blue bow. Piper was Lilo from Lilo and Stitch, complete with a cute over-the-shoulder Stitch bag. Hazel was Piglet from Winnie the Pooh, and her costume was a bit improvised, she had on a cute hoodie with pig ears, nose, and a curly pigtail, she had on a lovely pink skirt and pink tights. Calypso was Sally from the nightmare before Christmas, her makeup was done flawlessly and even Chiron did a double-take to see if those were actual stitches sewn into her face, her costume was the only one handmade since the patchwork dress was something she loved to do. Jason was Arthur Pendragon from the Sword in the Stone, and he looked hilarious in his gigantic red coat. Frank was obviously Li Shang (with an actual sword), Leo was Miguel, Nico was Hades (complete with a spell that made his hair look like it was actually on fire), Will was Phoebus from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. 

The best of all would be Percy's costume though, he had on a purple shell bra, a skirt that looked like a green tail, a shell bag, blue contacts, and bright red hair (courtesy of the Aphrodite Cabin).

"Well look who's living out their dream?" Connor teased, pointing at Percy's Ariel costume.

"Yeah yeah, hey guys! Look! The duck talks!" Percy goaded, pointing to Connor's Hewey Duck costume, which went with Chris' costume of Dewey Duck, and Travis' costume of Louie Duck.

Connor rolled his eyes and went back to fixing the fairy lights.

A few minutes went by and the first few people started to show up. Drew came strutting in with a Jessica Rabbit costume on, which Chiron nearly scolded her on making it a bit too extra for the younger campers, Chiron was a centaur Merlin though, Lacy came following Drew in a cute Honey costume from Big Hero Six, after them Malcolm with dyed black hair portraying Hiro from Big Hero Six.

Everyone else came trickling in, having fun and dancing on the dance floor, Travis and Connor were the main DJs along with Dakota.

"Hey there!" Piper said as the sun slowly started to set, she was holding a solo cup filled with a red punch in her hand and was walking over to Reyna, "How're you doing praetor!"

Reyna turned around and saw Piper's Lilo costume, Reyna herself was wearing an Esmerelda costume, "I'm fine, you?"

"I'm having fun!" Piper yelled over the already blasting music, "C'mon! Get a drink before the Stolls spike them!" she added, dragging Reyna off to the punch bowl, which seemed to have turned blue rather than red.

"Bro, what's it like being a mermaid?" Jason asked, sitting down beside Percy in the sand where Percy felt most comfortable.

"I am living it, bro!" Percy said, making a sand angel, making sure to swish his tail instead of spreading his legs to make the skirt of the angel.

Hazel and Frank wandered aimlessly through the crowd, sparking up conversations every now and then, but just full-on enjoying themselves, until they heard screams.

Hazel pushed her way through the crowd in the direction of the noise, what she saw made her facepalm though. Leo had accidentally lit himself on fire and was dancing around trying to put it out, Frank quickly looked around and grabbed a red solo cup from out of someones' hands and dumped it on Leo, effectively putting out his flame, literally and metaphorically.

Five hours later the Seven plus Calypso, Will, and Nico snuck away to dress up in their new, far more glamourous costumes. In ten minutes tops they were back on the face floor turning heads wherever they passed.

Annabeth was in a purple gown, and she had on long long blonde extensions that were gathered into a thick braid that brushed the soft green grass, and Percy sprayed his hair brown and put on a Eugene costume. 

Piper had on a beautiful tan dress and sprayed her hair black, her face also had some war paint on her face, the designs from her own tribe, and Jason was wearing a 1600s blue explorer type look, the John smith costume.

Hazel had on a floor-length, big, green, leafy costume with her hair in a bun at the top of her head and a leafy tara crowing it, her chocaltly-brown arms were covered by beautiful silk green gloves and Frank was wearing a green prince outfit with a sword to complete it.

Calypso had taken off all of her makeup and replaced it with a natural dewy look, she had on a pink dress and was the not-so-known Disney princess Giselle, and Leo was "Prince" Robert, but he really looked like a tiny elf.

But her real showstoppers were Nico and Will, who stretched the Disney concept a bit by being the Marvel gods Thor and Loki. Although the two were technically brothers, it was still fun to have connecting costumes. 

Nico's almost shoulder-length hair was slicked back elegantly, and he had on the iconic Loki helmet form the first Avenger's movie, he was wearing Loki's formal battle armour, which looked amazing on him, the leather complemented everything, he had even managed hide a few knives here and there to spontaneously stab people (but really just pretend to stab them, okay he might've nicer Drew once or twice.) Will decided to go with the Ragnarok/Infinity war Thor look (definitely not the round Thor we got in Endgame, no siree) completed with the amazing battle armour and both Mjolnir and Stormbreaker. At exactly midnight the Stolls and Dakota stopped with the high-feeling party music, and put on a slow song, "EVERYONE ON GET ONTO THE DANCE FLOOR AND LET'S HAVE A SLOW DANCE!" Travis yelled into the mic, and the three boys got off of the "sacred DJ area" and went to the dance floor themselves.

"You remember our first dance Seaweed Brain?" Annabeth asked, taking Percy's hand.

"How could I forget? Percy said chuckling, remembering the fond memory of going to the high school dance with Grover and Thalia to get two new demigods, which just so happened to be Nico and Bianca.

Speaking of Nico, the boy was getting frustrated with his gigantic golden helmet getting in the way of dancing.

"Just take it off Death Boy," WIll said.

"No! I love it! And it fits my aesthetic!" Nico whined like the inner nerd he was, Will just laughed at him and took the helmet off himself.

After the dance was over, Percy and Annabeth immediately went to the docks and sat down at the edge, dipping their feet in the water.

"Isn't this nice Perce?" Annabeth asked, swishing her feet in the water and laying her head on Percy's shoulder, she had previously taken out her many hair extensions and left them where the docks met the sand.

"Yeah it is Annabeth," Percy said, kissing Annabeth's forehead and moving to her lips. After about a minute went by and Percy and Annabeth were straight-up snogging, someone pushed them into the water.

"Hey!" Percy yelled, pulling his head above the water, "Who did that!"

The Stolls, Katie, Miranda, Grover, and Chris were all crowded at the edge of the docks laughing, "Just like old times huh Percy?" Grover asked, bleating.

"Yeah, like old times" Percy agreed happily.
