--New York--

Wanda was on the bed, secretly talking to Steve. Suddenly Pietro came inside and wondered what she was doing.

"Have you been talking to someone? I heard you talking and I know it's not yourself." Pietro wondered

"Just let me rest." Wanda slipped her phone under her pillow.

"We're going to Wakanda to help T'Challa with the aftermath of a huge battle so pack your bags."

Pietro closed the door and went back to the big room. Natasha, Sam, Strange, Scott, Hope, Carol, Peter, Reed, Johnny, Susan and Ben were all walking around while the Defenders went back to their HQ. The Outriders in New York had been stopped after some successful runs by Johnny, Ben, Strange and Peter. But they always ran into a man who was trying to kill them. Explosives, buildings crashing onto them and some marksmanship. Reed walked to Sam while he was fixing his wing suit.

"So, how does it feel to be Captain America." Reed asked

"Not easy when you think that their were two other people who wore the same suit. It's like copyright." Sam chuckled as Reed stood there and nodded.

"When are we leaving? The Fantastic Four has their stuff ready." Reed pointed at the bags.

"A few minutes..." Sam reloaded his SMG, "after we grab Wanda's stuff out of her room."

"I can take care of it." Carol told Sam as she went inside Wanda's room.

"Get the bags in the Quinjet then we'll get moving." Sam went inside the Quinjet and started the vehicle.

Everyone was busy, Strange was in the corner using the Time Stone as Peter watched him. Hope, Scott and Natasha had just started packing their bags. And Ben and Johnny had just arrived from taking down some Outriders who were in hiding.

Once everyone was in, they all settled and relaxed. Wanda was sitting in the lower deck with Pietro while the others were all packed in the upper deck. Before they left, Carol initially volunteered to fly but they said they had to go as a unit and she actually bought it.

"Seriously, who the hell were you talking to?" Pietro asked, as Wanda just confessed.

"I know this will confuse you but I was talking to Steve in my phone." Wanda said as Pietro stood up.

"Oh God..." Pietro was frustrated and just leaned on the wall, "I don't want to know how he's alive but... I thought you loved Vision?!"

"He's dead, Pietro! What will I do? He's the Mind Stone. He created me." Wanda answered back.

"But you have a baby with a super-soldier!" He was created by a serum!" Pietro argued

"It's not about the serum, Pietro! It's about the personality so leave me alone!"

The door opened and Carol's face peeked out.

"What the hell is this shouting about?" Carol asked as she entered.

"Oh it's nothing Carol, it's just that I was giving my sister some advice." Pietro rolled his eyes.

"Come on, that's bullshit." Carol said

"Language!" Wanda said, as Pietro looked at her with annoyance because Steve says that a lot, "I have to tell you guys something on the ship."

--3 hours later--

Sam was holding his Captain America helmet on front of him as he sighed. Natasha entered the room and sat beside him.

"I know Bucky and Steve is alive and that you have to give up being Captain America but that's how it is." Natasha said as she patted his back.

"Just one month in and I have to give this shit up." Sam said

"Just accept it, it's not a big deal anyways."

"Do you know how many times I get to visit the President and have some lunch with him?"

Suddenly a projectile hit the ship with a loud noise. Sam and Natasha geared up because the others were sleeping. A loud explosion followed and the ship started falling. Everyone was awaken and their fall was very fast. They were descending quickly and their controls weren't working.

"What is going on?" A newly awake Peter asked as they were descending too quickly.

"Strange is knocked out over here." Scott said when he tried to shake Strange awake, "I think he had to many beers."

"I got it." Wanda said as she concentrated on the ship, "I can do this... I can do this... I can do this..."

The ship them had red fog around it as they were getting slowed down but their descent was still fast. They were going down 250 kmh and Wanda couldn't slow it down by that much. Suddenly Strange woke up and looked around.

"Why is Natasha driving so fast?" Strange asked as he rubbed his eyes.

"No questions! Just teleport the ship to somewhere safe!" Hope shouted as they almost hit the ground.

Strange teleported the ship to the ground below them but it seemed like they just landed it. Their ship still had holes and it was broken. Sam, Peter, Reed and Strange were the first ones to exit.

"Who did this?" Reed asked as he looked at the damaged wing.

"Must be some sort of sniper." Strange opened the Time Stone and reversed time on the wing. It showed a arrow hanging and decided to stop it at that scene, "A explosive arrow, classic."

"I'm telling you, only Clint could do this kind of thing." Scott said as he exited the ship.

"Didn't Clint die back in New York?" Peter asked as a arrow sticked to his suit.

It exploded and Peter was flung 30 meters away from the ship. Strange got his shields out and Sam placed his shield on his arm. A man dressed in black with two swords on his back and holding a bow was approach them.

"I got this." Strange said, as he walked towards him with no shields, "I know you want to hurt us bu-"

The man kicked Strange's ass when he punched him in the face so hard that he go knocked out. He looked at him and continued to walk to the group.

"Well looks like Strange is out." Peter said, as he and Sam ran towards him.

Peter kicked him in the chest and he moved back a little but he was still standing. Sam then came flying in and punched him in the back of his neck. He grabbed one of the swords and sliced a web that was going towards him.

Peter tried to kick him in the face but he grabbed his ankle and twisted it. Peter them got onto the floor and was moaning from pain. Sam then landed and got his shield out and started fighting. When he tried to punch him with his shield, he found an opening and punched him on his chest until he fell to the ground.

"Looks like we're the last line of defense." Reed said as he stood there with Scott, Johnny and Ben.

He started running at them with his two swords out. He went through Scott when he turned small but he got to punch him in time. Johnny was hard for him to get because he was on fire. But when Ben was running at him, he dogged it and Ben ran into Johnny. Reed was the last one as they stood face to face.

"What's your name?" Reed asked, as he stretched his arms.

"Name is Ronin, brother of Clint Barton." Ronin said as he drew his bow out, "I'm doing this for my family."

Reed's arms were behind him but Ronin looked back. He placed a grenade in each hand and he ran to Reed while switching arrows. He slid under Reed because his legs were extended as well and placed the arrow on the ground which exploded. Reed landed on the side and he was back to normal size.

"This is for Clint." Ronin said as he grabbed his sword but was stopped mid-way by Wanda.

"You aren't killing anyone today." Wanda said, as he stopped him in position.

Ronin was able to press a button in his hand which triggered a smoke bomb. Wanda lost grip because she couldn't see him. Suddenly he appeared and punched her in the face.

"I think I have to kill you first." Ronin was about to pierce her through the chest but a rain of bolts were fired at him.

"Peter Quill has officially arrived!" Quill shouted as he was using his jet pack and shooting at Ronin.

Ronin looked to his other side and Steve, Bucky and Logan were running to him. Bucky stopped and started shooting at him while the other two kept on running. They both engaged into combat with Ronin and the eventually lost because of the shield and the claws. Everyone started recovering and they all regrouped at the ship.

"How the hell did you find us?" Strange asked while holding his chest.

"A ship that was crashing wasn't so hard to find." Steve chuckled

"Nice to meet you. Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four." Reed extended his hand to Quill.

"Peter Quill of the Guardians of the Galaxy." Quill shook his hands and helped the others stand.

"You might want to check on Wanda over their." Reed told Steve as he helped Johnny stand up.
