*later the next day*

Harry's POV

I was getting ready for the dance peter invited me to at horizon high. I was looking in the mirror, my suit was all in order , but as i was having trouble with my tie, my father came in "oh, hey dad"i said, he walked over to me and fixed my tie for me "are you sure about this son?" he asked, i nodded "yeah, i have to go to this dance dad....for Peter" i say,he lets go of the tie and smiled "just know, i'm proud of you harry,and you can date peter if you wish to" he said. My eyes widen and i smile brightly "r-really?! Thanks dad!" i exclaim, and i hug him tightly, i felt him hug back and i smile"i love you dad" i say, he lets go and looks at me "i love you too son" he replied back. I let go and i go out the door and walk to the party.

*timeskip to the party*

I arrived at horizon high, which music was playing and lights were bright. Suddenly ,i hear a whimper and i look around, til i see peter sitting on his own, with a thin blue hoodie on with dark blue jeans "pete?" I ask, he looked up and i saw three deep scratches on his cheek. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and i could see tears swelling again. I rushed over and hugged peter, rubbing his back, i felt him start crying again "shh shh peter shh, i'm here, what happened? " i asked, looking at him, wiping the tears away from his face "m-MJ came and i was about to take her inside, t-til flash came along. Mj said he was her date and i was a useless nerd who couldn't save his u-uncle f-from g-getting k-killed" he explained, choking up. I hold him close letting him rest his head on my chest , as i rubbed circles on his back.

Peter's POV

I started calming down, listening to harry's heart beat was relaxing. I just snuggle into his hold wanting it to last forever "you don't deserve this peter, you never did. She was just jealous that you were more special than her" harry said, he made me look at him while he got a medical kit out and treated the cuts, which had to be stitched. After a while i was resting on him again "i never got to dance with anyone either" i said sadly, "Well now you will" he said. harry got up and took my hand, and got an mp3 player and earphones from his pocket , putting one in his ear and the other in mine. He pressed play on the song (the one above). I wrapped my arms round his neck,head on his chest while he wrapped his arms round my waist, we slow danced just swaying side to side.  

 "Hey harry?" I asked , looking at him "yeah?" He asked. I got closer to him and kissed harry on the lips. My eyes closed but i felt him kiss back. We broke after a while for air, just looking into his silver eyes while he stared back into my emerald green ones "i love you peter" harry said , my heart felt like it was beating a million times per minute. "I love you too Harry" i confessed back, i then got picked up bridal style by harry making me blush red "harry what're you doing?!" i exclaim,blushing "we're going to my place, forget this party, we're having a movie night" he said. I laughed hard at that as we started heading to his place. Nothing could have made this night better, and i don't think anything ever will.
