A/N Morgan happened, Infinity war didn't, Peter is Tony's intern and everyone is happy! (Except Happy of course)

It was an average Avengers job; get in, release any prisoners and blow up the facility. But as we all know nothing where HYDRA is involved is easy.

Tony was fed up.

 It was supposed to be an easy mission, but they had miscalculated the explosion and the lab was collapsing on the scientists and the death toll was already way too high for a mission spidey was on.

 So when a scientist grabbed a girl and told them to stop shooting he did. 

While the scientist was edging towards the door with the girl, Peter crawled over him and dropped a chunk of concrete on his head. 

He fell to the ground, comatose. 

The girl stood there, in the circle of heroes with a perfectly blank look on her face.

 "Uh, kid you better come with us," Rhodey said nervously. 

She whipped her head around so fast they heard a crack. 

The girl narrowed her eyes at the man, taking in his armour and the glowing blue repulsors on his hands and feet.

 Making a split-second decision she launched herself forward; but not at Rhodey. 

She ran through the circle and away from the lab. 

Perfect.

All Tony wanted right now was a hot cup of coffee and a hug from Morgan, not an ungrateful girl refusing to come! 

Steve and Bucky immediately ran after her; with their super-speed, they should've caught her in no time. But Peter, like the self-sacrificing pain in the arse he is, swung away to help them.

"Stupid kid, he's gonna get himself killed if he's not careful," muttered Tony.

Peter was practically like a son to him, but he'd never admit it in case the feeling wasn't mutual.

Tony loved him with all his heart, but he couldn't help questioning the boys' sanity after hearing vines being screamed in the early morning.

--_timeskip because I'm lazy, they catch the girl, knock her out and take her to the compound_--

Only Nat was on watch for the girl when she woke up.

Her eyes snapped open and she sat bolt upright, looking around to see where she was.

The girl was sitting in half of a room, the other half was barred off with blue-tinted glass, and Nat was sitting on a sofa watching the news. When Nat noticed the girl was awake she opened comms and said:

"Katniss, stop playing Mario kart and get your butt down here! She's awake!"

Nat heard a loud thump as if Peter had fallen off the ceiling and a few seconds later Peter, Bucky and Clint burst through the door to find Nat staring at the girl in shock as she said :

"I don't know who I am"

Well, this complicates things.
