pranking tony
a/n heres a whole chapter of fluff of make up for the very angsty chapter that was before this
this takes place after endgame but tony didn't die
morgan is 13, peter is 24 (he's getting some kind of science degree so it's taking him longer than the usual 4 years)
-
Peter knocks on Morgan's bedroom window as he sticks to the side of the house.
Morgan looks up from her sketchbook and turns to the window. Her eyebrows raise in confusion.
Peter raises a finger to his mouth to signal for her to be quiet before gesturing for her to open the window. She nods walking over and opening the window causing Peter to tumble into the room.
He may be Spiderman but that doesn't mean he isn't clumsy.
"I thought you were coming over tomorrow?" Morgan asks helping Peter off the floor.
"Hello to you too Morgan," he says pretending to sound annoyed.
"Oh yeah, hi Peter. What are you doing here?"
"Turns out my finals ended yesterday so I could come over for Christmas a day early and I thought it would be fun if we pranked Dad." (yes peter calls tony dad)
Morgan's face lights up with a mischievous smile that made Peter think that she's been spending a lot of time with Uncle Loki. "Yes!"
"Quiet!" Peter whispers yells.
"Oops, sorry," she whispers back.
"Morgan, are you good?" Tony yells from the other room.
"Yeah I'm good! Just found that book I lost!"
"Nice!"
She turns back to Peter. "So what were you thinking? Stealing all of dad's coffee? Hiding the tiramisu? Jumping off the ceiling and yelling boo?"
"Not quite, I was thinking that you tell him there's a spider in your room and then when you go to show him you just point to me."
"It's a deal, but! You have to sit in the corner where the ceiling meets the wall, ya know like an actual spider."
"Will do, now go tell dad about the 'Spider'," he says doing air quotes around the word spider.
Morgan quickly runs off to Tony's lab as Peter climbs up the wall to get into position.
"Dad! There's a spider in my room!"
Tony looks up from the blue prints he was creating. "Oh no, is it big?"
"It's giant! I'd bet that it's probably the biggest spider in the whole world."
Tony, who was used to Morgan's constant exaggeration of everything, figured it wasn't that big of a spider which meant that he didn't need to bother Pepper who was busy preparing food for the Christmas dinner that was only a few days away.
He stood up and grabbed a random shoe he found on the floor. "Let's go take back your room from the evil spider."
The two of them walk toward Morgan's room; Morgan opens the door and immediately points at Peter.
Tony smiles and turns to Morgan, "Help me kill the spider?"
Morgan smiled too before nodding. She and Tony start walking towards Peter.
Peter's eyes widen as he realizes what's about to happen. He pretends to try and get away but he let's Tony and Morgan 'catch' him in the living room.
Tony and Morgan start tickling Peter.
"Stop! It tickles!" Peter says between laughs. He tries to roll away but he just hits the coffee table which causes him to laugh more.
"Hmm what do you think Morgan," Tony says while still tickling Peter. "Maybe we should just keep the spider and feed it properly because this doesn't seem to be working."
Morgan starts laughing at her Dad's joke.
Tony stops tickling Peter and instead throws him over his shoulder. Tony carries him all the way to the kitchen.
"Honey we have a new pet spider!"
"Hmm?" she asks looking up from the bowl of cookie dough she was mixing. "Oh dear, is that Peter?"
Morgan walks into the kitchen still giggling every now and again. "That's not Peter, it's the spider that was in my room," she says.
"Traitor," Peter mumbles jokingly.
"Oh Morgan we caught ourselves a talking spider! How cool is that?"
"Tony," Pepper warns with a smile on her face.
"Alright fine." Tony sets Peter down on one of the barstools, ruffling Peter's hair.
"How were finals?" Pepper asks, turning towards Peter.
"Good... except for the English one, but come on! Having a science major take an english course and read 'Jane Austen'! Do I look like I'd read Jane Austen?" Peter rambles.
("I paid 120,000 dollars for them to tell me to read jane austen, and then i didn't.")
