Authors note: This is how I imagined Wanda got her powers, if you don't agree let me know your opinion in a comment! I thought this was a cool way to start my marvel one shots!
This is first set when the twins are kids, just to let you know so no one gets confused.
~(Wanda's P.O.V)~

I woke up in my small room by my twin brother, we slept in the same room with two separate single beds.
"Wanda! Wanda! Wake up!" He said to me.
"Calm down Pietro, what is it?" I asked. He pointed out the window, "Look! What do you think it is?" He said excitedly and looked at me. I had no idea what was going on, there was some kind of ship in the middle of our town, it had knocked down at least two small houses.
Pietro tugged at my hands,
"C'mon, let's go see it!" He said to me, but I hesitated.
"Maybe we should wait for papa..." I say as I am quite scared by all this.
Pietro shakes his head and takes my hand,
"Don't worry.. I'll protect you." He says to me. I nod and smile. We head outside...

The centre of our town wasn't that far from our house, so we would get back before papa wakes up. Pietro ran there too, he was quite excited about all this. I was still quite hesitant about the whole thing, we were only 10 years old, and there was only two of us. But I just hoped nothing bad would happen.

We eventually made it to the massive ship and got right to the front it. There was these men all dressed in black, piling in and out of it. There was no one around, not even people in houses nearby was looking out the window.
"Woah.." my brother said and looked around.
"Uhmm.. Pietro.. I think we should go." I was too late. One of the men had grabbed my brothers arm and had taken him into the ship.
"Pieteo!!! No!!" I shouted. I ran to the door and tried to climb inside.
"We only need one boy.. Should we take her too?" A man said to another man. One of them nodded and they took me in by the shoulders. I was kicking and screaming.
"Pietro!!" I yelled as they dragged me past him.

I don't remember much from after that, I woke up in a room surrounded with transparent walls. I quickly looked in the room next to me.
"Pietro!" I said and ran up to the glass.
He got up and put his hand on the wall and mouthed to me, 'everything going to be okay..' I nodded and some guy came out and started questioning us, about how we were feeling and stuff. Suddenly, a roof door opened and boxes were dropped in my room, nothing in Pietro's.

"Now, Pietro, is it? Try running around your room.." The strange man said. My brother did so, and he went round the room at a fascinating speed.
"Excellent.. Quicksilver, that's what we'll call you.." The man said.
"What have you done to him!!" I yelled through the walls.
"Oh Wanda, don't you worry about that. Now, why don't you imagine yourself picking up those boxes right there?" The man said to me.
I couldn't help but do it, the boxes moved and I jumped, but tried it again, and this scarlet wisp came around them and my hands.

"Amazing.. We'll call you Scarlet.."
