Set: When Rocket and Groot First met. (So a long time ago)

~(Rocket's P.O.V)~

I woke up inside the ship I had stole last night, wait.. Did I steal this ship? Oh, I don't remember.. Must've gotten drunk or something.. Well, I had a new ship, that's good!

I was on one of the planets nearer to Earth, the most dangerous place to go, but what have I got to lose eh? I had a new ship for it anyway, and I was alone, so no one would really care if I didn't come back.

I thought long and hard about it, but I decided I should, I should head to earth, and see what happens, what's the worst thing? I'll probably die on my way in anyway..

I started the ship and got into the air, I left the planet I was on and got closer to Earth. I left the ship in hyperdrive and just had a look about, this was a pretty nice ship! I liked it, good steal. I was looking through some drawers and I saw this kinda liquid goo stuff, it was a purple colour. I just left it where it was, I could use it later.

I had to head back up to control the ship for landing, I was already around ten minutes from being on earth.
I just let everything happen, the only thing I saw on my way in was a place called 'New York Central Park,'.

"Shit!" I yelled as I tried to pull up, I failed, resulting in me crashing into a bunch of trees. Oh great, that's my new ship wrecked. I got out and explored for a moment.

There was so many humans here, I had been told there was some but Jesus, this is a lot. Many holding out some weird things in there hands and pointing them at me, flashes everywhere. There was so many people around.
I had to get out of here.
There was no point in me staying, everyone just pointed at me, calling me a little monster.

I ran back inside the ship, coming here was a bad idea in the first place. I got up and started the ship, quickly flying up. Other than a few scratches here and there, the ship was actually okay, all the engines and things were still running fine.

I went really fast to get out of there, I was back into space in no time.
"I am Groot!" A weird voice said. I jumped,
"What the hell?" I said and looked around. Was I just hearing things? I put the ship in hyperdrive and walked all around the place. That 'purple goo' from earlier was all over the floor, it must've spilled when I crashed.
"I am Groot!" I heard again.
"Show yourself already!!" I yelled and turned around. There was a massive tree looking thing in front of me.
"I am Groot!" It said again.
"Yeah, yeah okay you're Groot, now what the hell? Where did you come from??" I asked and looked up at it.

"I am Groot.."
