Steve holds onto Thor's wrist and drags him through the streets of Brooklyn, smiling happily.

"Where are you taking me, Steven, darling?" Thor asked, matching his boyfriend's smile.

"I told you it's a surprise." Steve giggled.

"Okay, love." Thor chuckled.

They stop walking and Steve faces Thor, holding both of his hands.

"Ya know how pizza is your favorite Earth food?" Steve asked, rocking from one foot to the other, playfully.

"Yes, pizza is the most delicious of the Earth cuisines." Thor replied smiling.

"Weeeell, I took you here because this is where the best pizza in Brooklyn is." Steve said excitedly.

They turn towards the pizza place, but...it wasn't a pizza place, it was a frozen yogurt shop. Steve's face fell into a frown as he stared at the building he once knew of which was now unrecognizable.

"This doesn't look like a pizza establishment." Thor said confused.

"I...I don't understand, i-it was right here." Steve said getting increasingly upset.

"Perhaps you got the wrong location." Thor said putting his hand on Steve's shoulder, comfortingly.

"No! I didn't get it wrong! It was supposed to be right here!" Steve said taking out his cellphone.

He got frustrated while using it, but he eventually found out that the pizza place he knew had closed down fifteen years ago.

"Thor, I'm sorry I wasted your time, let's just go home." Steve sighed looking defeated.

It made Thor's heart hurt to see his beloved captain look so sad. Back at the tower, Steve sat at the kitchen table with his arms folded on the table and his head resting on his arms. Thor decided he had to do something to cheer up his boyfriend.

"Stark, how do you make pizza?" Thor asked, finding Tony on his lab.

"Not now, Thor, I'm busy." Tony mumbled, not really paying attention.

"Thor, I'm about to head to the grocery store, we'll get the stuff you need there." Bruce said.

"Thank you, Banner!" Thor replied, glaring a bit at Tony.

While at the store, Bruce explains to Thor how to make homemade pizza. When he returns, he sets the bags of ingredients on the table, next to Steve's head. Steve lifts his head off the table and wipes a couple tear stains off his cheeks.

"What's all this for?" Steve asked.

"We shall make the pizza! Won't that be more fun?" Thor said in a joyful booming voice.

"Thanks, Thor, I appreciate this, but....it wasn't about just the pizza." Steve sighed.

"Then what is it about, Steven? What had you so upset?" Thor asked, pulling up a chair and sitting next to Steve.

"Bucky and I always went to that pizza place, heck, we practically lived there. It's where I had my first job. That place was a huge part of my life back in the 40's." Steve explained.

"So, that place had a lot of sentimental value?" Thor asked placing a hand on Steve's knee.

"Yes. And I really wanted to share that with you, because you mean so much to me. I feel like everything I've ever known is just...gone. I hardly recognize Brooklyn nowadays, everything is so different. And now the one place that connected me to Bucky is gone too!" Steve cried.

"Oh, darling." Thor said frowning sadly and hugging his boyfriend.

Thor lets Steve cry into his shoulder as he holds him and rubs his back. When Steve eventually quiets down, he keeps his head on Thor's shoulder.

"What would you like me to do to help you feel better?" Thor asked gently rubbing his knuckles against Steve's cheek.

"Just keep doing what you're doing." Steve answered.

"Of course, my love." Thor said, tilting Steve's face up to kiss his lips.

For several minutes, Thor holds his boyfriend in his arms comforting him. When Steve felt better, he helps Thor make the pizzas so that the ingredients he got didn't go to waste. By the time they were eating their pizzas and watching movies, Steve was smiling again, which made Thor smile. The god would do anything too always see that beautiful smile on the face of the man he loves.
