[Ulysses Klaue's Base, Zanzibar : 24/11/1995]

Tony had taken one of his jets for T'Challa to drive while he and Superman flew alongside, they were already in the airspace of Ulysses Klaus' base.

{We are approaching, now we just need to arrive discreetly.} Tony said through the communicator.

{Are you sure this jet has good cloaking technology, Stark ?} T'Challa asked not to trust the foreign technology very much.

{It has the best stealth technology on the planet, mine.} Stark replied with a lot of pride in his voice.

{I think I better reconsider that Tony.} Superman said while using his super vision to assess the situation, and was in time to dodge a beam of energy that came towards him.

Soon a volley of gunfire came from the island's jungle, and then they came face to face with a flying figure, wearing black armor while riding a flying motorcycle that resembled a horse.

{Their defense technology is better.} T'Challa said sarcastically.

"Black Knight!!" Tony said with apprehension.

The villain pointed out a kind of blade used in duels by medieval knights, but it emitted electrical energy.

"Iron Man!!, Today I will have my revenge!!" He said very nervously.

Tony activated his boots' thrusters, trying to get away from the Black Knight while Superman flew towards the villain, ready to stop him.

Meanwhile, T'Challa leapt from the jet and activated his vibranium claws, ready to fight the Black Knight's henchmen who were approaching in air transports.

The Black Knight charged forward with his electric blade, attacking Superman with swift slashes. The Kryptonian blocked the attacks with ease and countered with a punch, but the villain deftly dodged.

Tony activated the repulsors in his hands and fired an energy beam at the Black Knight, but the villain blocked it with his electric blade. Meanwhile, T'Challa fought against the villain's henchmen, using his claws to disarm them and deliver precise blows.

"Can you say more about your friend?" Superman asked wryly as he attacked the Black Knight.

"Oh nothing much, his name is Nathan Garrett just an English nobleman and one of the henchmen of the leader of the Maggia, interesting technology but a retro taste in fashion." Tony responded humorously, only to hear a roar from the Black Knight.

The Black Knight tried to attack Tony again, but this time Superman grabbed his blade and sliced it in half with his bare hands. The villain backed away, visibly surprised by the Kryptonian's strength.

"This is over, Black Knight. Surrender." Superman said, looking straight into the villain's eyes.

But the Black Knight didn't seem willing to surrender so easily. He activated a device on his flying bike and fired an energy beam towards the heroes. Tony tried to block the attack with his energy shield, but the energy passed through him easily, causing Iron Man to fall unconscious.

"Tony!!" Superman screamed.Superman tried to catch up with the Black Knight, but he mounted on his flying motorcycle and fled, leaving behind the defeated henchmen and the unconscious Iron Man.

Superman flew in the fastest way to help Tony, while T'Challa got back in the jet and flew after the Black Knight, determined to capture and stop him.

Superman arrived at Iron Man's side and picked him up, flying towards the ground of the base. He gently placed him on the ground and checked his vitals. Tony was unconscious but still breathing.

"T'Challa, how's the chase going?" Superman asked through the communicator.

"I'm on the trail of the Black Knight, he's trying to throw me off with evasive maneuvers, but I'm still behind him." T'Challa responded with determination.

Superman looked at Tony worriedly, while T'Challa chased the Black Knight on the flying bike. He needed to help his friend, but he couldn't let the villain escape.

"Tony, listen to me. Are you okay?" Superman asked, trying to wake him up.

Tony slowly opened his eyes and looked at the Kryptonian. He looked confused and disoriented.

"What happened?" Tony asked, trying to get up.

"The Black Knight attacked us. He has very advanced technology." Superman explained.Tony scrambled to his feet and checked his systems. His armor was damaged, but it still worked.

"Let's go after him." Tony said with determination.

Superman nodded and the two flew towards T'Challa and the Black Knight. The villain was flying in circles, trying to outrun Black Panther. But T'Challa did not give up, and continued to pursue him relentlessly.

Superman flew towards the Black Knight and tried to grab him, but the villain managed to dodge and launched another blast of energy towards the heroes. Tony activated his defense systems and managed to block the attack with his energy shield.

Superman, tired of this, fired his blast of heat energy towards the motorcycle, burning its circuits and making the villain fall to the ground.

"Surrender, Black Knight. You don't stand a chance against us." T'Challa said getting off the jet.

"You're outnumbered Nathan, it's over." Tony said pointing his repulsor at the fallen Knight.

"For a supposed genius, you count pretty badly." The Black Knight said with a smile under his helmet.

A huge blast of energy hit Tony's jet, sending the three heroes in different directions by the explosion, the three got up with some ease, to face an army of Maggia henchmen, men in black suits with white masks.

Leading them were three more Iron Man villains, Living Laser, Unicorn and Whiplash. Living Leisure wears a full-body black outfit with several gold lines, Unicorn wears black armor with a helmet with a horn that fires zeta rays, and Whiplash wears a tactical suit with two energy whips in his hands and a red mask.

"Stark!!" Living Laser yelled looking at the hero, energy coursing through his body.

"You've only been active for six months, how come so many people hate you?" Superman asked curiously.Tony just shrugged.

"I don't know, but Pepper always says I have a talent for pissing people off." He said as he pointed his hands towards the henchmen.

"Gentlemen, focus." Panther said looking around.

"You are in no condition to be quiet, so you better raise your hands." Unicorn said pointing his horn at them.

The Maggia's henchmen also turned their guns on them. Superman just smiled confidently.

"Really?" He lifted his foot as he said that.

At that moment, Superman applied all of his strength and slammed his foot into the ground, creating a shock wave that threw all of the Maggia's henchmen away. Meanwhile, Tony activated his thrusters and flew towards the villains.

Living Laser tried to hit Tony with an energy beam, but he dodged and fired a missile that exploded near the villain, leaving him stunned. The Unicorn charged towards Superman, but the Kryptonian managed to grab the helmet's horn and threw it away.

T'Challa used his grappling skills to engage Whiplash, dodging the energy whips and delivering swift blows to the villain. Meanwhile, Tony hit Living Laser with an energy beam, knocking him out of combat.

The Unicorn tried to attack Superman again, but this time the Kryptonian used a flick hitting him in the armor's chest and threw him into the air, making him fly away. T'Challa finally managed to disarm Whiplash, leaving him defenseless, and finished him off by hitting him in the throat.

The heroes surrounded the villains, ready to arrest them. But before they could act, a clap of hands echoed through the place.

"I'm truly impressed." An elegant voice with an Italian accent said.

Coming out of the shadows, a middle-aged man, black hair and goatee, very chic silver suit, white shoes and a cane with a diamond on the tip, next to him was the smuggler Ulysses Klaue and T'Challa's target.

"I expected no less from the great Tony Stark, Iron Man. And you, Superman, always impressing with your superhuman abilities." The man smiled as he approached the heroes.

"They really did a lot of damage, it's been a while, little prince." Klaue smiled looking at T'Challa, the King of Wakanda who just glared at the villain.

"You must be the leader of Maggia." Superman kept himself composed.

"Call me Count Nefaria. I'm a respected businessman in the business world, but I also have some interests in the criminal underworld." Nefaria replied with a smirk.

"Do you openly admit this?" Superman asked raising an eyebrow.

"Of course, you'll be surprised that money and status can free men from many things young man." Nefaria of it in an arrogant way.

"And I believe it's time to negotiate." As Nefaria said, a dome of energy covered the five of them, and they all disappeared in a silver glow.
