Clint Barton- Hearing Aids (c)
Sometimes you did wonder whether Tony forgot that you didn't work for him. You were married to Clint so you did happen to spend a lot of your time in the Avengers Tower, having lived there for some time before the two of you got your own place.
If Clint was busy training, and Natasha was busy too, you would spent time with Bruce and Tony in the lab. This meant that Tony would demand you get him lunch. You'd argue for a bit, then he'd prove his uselessness at getting his own food so you'd go on the lunch run. Although he demanded different takeout places, you had started making lunch that was better for him and also involved no interacting with humans to get food.
Today was slightly different. Clint had finished training early but you had been prepared to make Tony and Bruce lunch so had started ahead of time. Although Clint wasn't too impressed with having to have lunch in the lab, but seen as you wanted to, he agreed.
You left him with the two men to continue whatever they had been doing whilst you finished the fairly simple meal. Carrying the large dish along with some plates downstairs, you arrived to a similar scene to the one that you left.
Clint was sat on a stall with his head resting on the work surface in front of him. Bruce was writing something down, whilst Tony was moving some things around.
"Lunch is ready," you smiled putting the warm dish onto one of the many work surfaces that surrounded the room, laying the plates out so that each dish could be served.
Tony ignored you continuing with his science talk, that with time you had learnt to drown out. Bruce smiled gratefully to you, finishing up the work that he was doing. Clint sat still.
You furrowed your eyebrows at your husband. "Clint lunch is ready."
Once again he was silent and didn't even move. Did you do something to piss him off? There wasn't anything you could think you had done purposefully to annoy him, well not recently.
"Clint," you frowned.
"He turned his hearing aids off," Bruce stated.
"What did Tony do?" You questioned.
Bruce simply shrugged, Tony still nattering on about something you honestly didn't care about, not that he was actually talking to anyone just relishing in his love of his own voice.
You approached your husband prodding the top of his head with a finger.
He made a grunt looking up at you with tired eyes.
"What's wrong?" You signed to your husband.
Clint sat up properly stretching before signing, "Tony is a boring arse."
"I know love. Are you going to turn your hearing aids on, or are you going to wait until we get home?"
"Will you shut him up?"
"Of course."
