You crane your head awkwardly to give Thor a grin. "Why?"

He sighs. "I was informed by Steve that there is a fandom for the Avengers. Is this bad?"

You shake your head, going back to your book. "No. A fandom is a bunch of people who like a certain thing coming together to fangirl about it,"

He frowns. "I do not understand,"

You brainstorm for a moment before sitting up and face him. "Okay. So think of it this way. Say you like, I don't know, Attack on Titan-"

"Ah!" He announces suddenly, beaming. "Yes. The television show in which puny mortals slaughter other monstrous mortals who eat the puny mortals if they are not careful-"

"Okay, okay," You wave your hands and he stops talking. "Yes. That show. You like it, don't you?"

He grins. "It is quiet enjoyable, yes,"

"Okay. So now you're in the Attack on Titan fandom. Now do you get it?"

He nods excitedly. "I must go inform the others of my new found.. fandom. They will be most jealous,"

"Wait, Thor, that's not how it-" but before you can get another word in, he runs down the hall and shouts:

"Steve Rogers! I must inform you of my glorious new discovery. I am in a fandom!"

There's a pause, and then an unsure, "What's a fandom?"
