Steve tosses you the Pam and you spray a thin coat over the pan, turning on the stove and place it over the fire.

"Tell me again," Steve says as stirs the mix one last time. "Why we're making Pancakes at three in the morning?"

"Because," Reaching over him, you pick up the bowl. "I'm hungry."

"Right."

"What," Jumping, you and Steve turn to find Natasha and Clint standing in the doorway with rumpled hair and messy clothes. "Are you two doing."

"Making pancakes," Steve happily watches as you dump a spoon full of batter onto the pan.

"Why?"

"Because (Y/n)'s hungry."

"Oh," Clint rubs his eyes. "Can I have some?"

"Sure."

By the time 4:30 hits, Natasha, Bucky, and Tony had joined you and are now sitting at the table with stacks of pancakes, syrup, and butter in the middle.

"I can't remember the last time I had one of these," Bucky holds up a fork with small pieces of pancake stabbed through.

"I do," Steve sets down the syrup after drowning his pancakes with it. "It was Christmas Day. You ended up buying too much, so that's all we are. Pancakes for a week."

Bucky squints at the fork. "I don't remember."

"It's okay," Steve smiles warmly.

"Yeesh. Straight out of a teenage romance book. Seriously. Writers would love you guys," Natasha grumbles, stuffing a whole pancake into her mouth and chews.

"Nat!" Clint gaps as Natasha swallows. "Where do you fit all of that?"

"I'm just going to point this out," Tony interrupts the conversations as he stands and points at you. "(Y/n). Now I don't say this very often. Or ever, actually. But this was the best idea you've had in forever."

You grin. "Thank you, Tony. I guess this makes me the Pancake Queen now, huh?"

"Team Pancake!" Clint declares, pancake sliding off of his fork as he holds it up.

"Clint!"

"Pancake Fandom," Steve dumps more syrup onto his pancakes.

"The Pancake Squad..?" Bucky offers weakly, shrinking down when everyone's eyes turn to him.

"That's perfect!" Tony shouts, bits of pancake flying out of his mouth. "We are officially The Pancake Squad."
