A Quirky World
Pain.
Hands.
Did it always hurt this bad?
No.
He blinked, his vision slowly adjusting to the dim light. An IV bag hung above his head, the clear liquid within dripping steadily into his arm. Why was there an IV bag? Was he in a hospital? What had happened to him?
He glanced at the door.
Footsteps.
Someone was coming.
Who?
The door opened and someone walked in.
“Ah, I see your awake. Excellent.” That was Japanese. Good. That meant that he was still in Japan then. Probably a rural hospital or something, he rationalised. However as he turned his head to greet the person, his brow furrowed in confusion as he stared at the person that had entered the room.
“What are you?” He asked as he stared at the strange mouselike creature that now stood beside his bed.
It smiled, “Am I a mouse, a dog or a bear? Who knows!” It exclaimed cheerfully as it jumped up onto the chair beside his bed and sat down. “But you can call me Nezu.”
“Where am I?” He asked as he slowly pulled himself upright, wincing in pain as he did so. Why was his body aching?
“Your in currently in the medical facility at U.A. High,” Nezu answered, “and as for how you got here, well, I'd very much to know that myself.”
“Shit. I'm in a school?” He asked, not quite believing what he'd heard.
“Yes. You're in a school. Now would you be so kindly as to tell me who you are?” Nezu asked with a glint of curiosity in his eyes.
“Logan.”
“Well then Logan. May I ask as to how you ended up in my school?” Nezu asked, staring unblinkingly at him.
Logan pursed his lips as he debated on what he should do. Should he tell him? But what good would that do?
After a few seconds of silence, he finally answered, “I was hunting someone." Nezu looked at him curiously, "My brother, Sabertooth.”
“Go on.” The mouselike creature gently urged as he took a sip from his cup that Logan was sure wasn't in the mouses hands a few seconds ago. He blinked before letting out a dismissive grunt.
“He'd stolen something and my friends and I were tasked with hunting him down. When we did find him, however, he was standing near some kind of machine.” He remembered the event vividly. After all, it couldn't have been that long ago since the device activated.
He grimaced but continued with his story, “There was a big fight and then someone activated the device, I don't know who though.” He paused to take a breath before continuing, “The next thing I know, there's a massive portal hovering above all of use and that's all I can really remember.” He slowly clenched his fist in frustration, he was so close!
"How very interesting." Nezu said as he took a sip of his tea. “Well that somewhat answers my next question.”
Logan arched his brow in confusion, “And that is…?”
Nezu paused for a moment before taking a deep breath and placing down his tea cup, “What is your Quirk?”
Logan furrowed his brow in confusion. Well that was a weird question. “What do you mean? As in do I have a weird personality trait or something?” He asked after a moment of silence.
“Your superpower.” The mouselike being quickly clarified. “When you first appeared, you were missing half of your face but when we were about to call for an ambulance, I noticed that the damage was already healing. So naturally, I had assumed you had some form of regenerative Quirk but then I noticed the three metal claws protruding from both your knuckles and then I wasn't so sure.” Nezu revealed.
Logan frowned, “You haven't seen a mutant before?” He asked, his eyes narrowed in suspicion as a sense of unease began to build up within his stomach. Something definitely wasn't right.
“A mutant? What do you mean by that?” Nezu asked, confusion evident on his face.
“It's what I am.” He revealed with an annoyed expression. Something was extremely wrong here. Why didn't Nezu know what a mutant was?
“Could you explain a bit more please?” Nezu kindly inquired.
“A mutant,” Logan began, irritation seeping into his tone, “is someone born with an X-gene—a genetic mutation that gives us abilities. Healing, super strength, mind reading… that kind of stuff. Do you seriously not know what a mutant is?”
“I can't say that I do, Mr. Logan.” Nezu's reply was both curt and quick, which was something that Logan immediately took note of. “You mentioned trying to detain your brother earlier. Does that mean your a hero?” Nezu softly inquired causing the mutant to blink in surprise at the question.
“In a manner of speaking…” He answered slowly causing the mouselike being to look at him with some skepticism.
“Do you care to elaborate on that?” Nezu asked as it pulled out a set of dog tags and placed them onto the bedside cabinet next to him.
“Most of the time, I'm a history teacher at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngest but whenever there's trouble I usually try to lend a hand.” Logan answer truthfully as he grabbed the dog tags from the cabinet. “But before that, I was a soldier." He frowned bitterly, he didn't like to thing about his time as a soldier or the wars that he participated in when he was one.
“That does explain your outfit.” Nezu mused as he gestured towards his yellow and blue outfit. “Now then,” Nezu began as he hopped off his chair, “I believe we're done talking for the day but should you wish to continue our conversation then, please, call Recovery Girl.”
“Wait, your not letting me go?” Logan called out as he watched Nezu walk out of the room.
“If I were to let you leave then where would you go?” He mouselike creature answered as it disappeared from his sight. “I suspect that you already know that you're a lot farther from your home than you originally suspected!” Nezu revealed as his voices slowly faded with distance.
Logan scoffed. So Nezu did share his suspicions on what had happened but that was true then there was also a chance that his friends and Sabertooth was also here.
He frowned. He didn't like that thought but judging from what he had pieced together from his conversation with Nezu then this world also had its own superheroes.
If he had to guess, judging from Nezu's earlier question, that having powers were common here and probably have been for a while. Well, long enough to be given a special classification of its own.
Although he had to wonder, why did they call it a Quirk? Looks like he had a lot to learn about this new world if he wanted to fit on properly.
With a soft groan, he settled back into the bed and closed his eyes. He hoped that he could get more answers tomorrow.

And that's it! What do you guys think of this new crossover? I know it's a bit short especially when I just promised that I'd make things a bit longer but for a prologue I didn't know what to do without completely wrecking it, next chapter will be longer, I promise.
Now then, details: The universe this Logan is from is similar to it's prime 616 counterpart with little changes. Logan himself, looks like Hugh Jackman with his hairstyle being the one from his Second solo Wolverine Movie. His outfit is basically a sleeveless version of the suit he wore in Deadpool and Wolverine. He'll have other outfits like the Brown and gold outfit that made a cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine as well as the Adamantium armour that turned up in the comics. He'll have all the abilities he had in the comics especially the heated claws ability that he temporarily had when he was brought back because I did like that. He will be Hugh's actual height.
Now the reason I've got gone for Hugh's version of Wolverine is because of the fact that I had watched the Fox X-Men movies before I even knew what X-Men were so don't judge me.
Now there are currently five other marvel characters in the MHA universe, one of which you can already guess, with more on the way. Now their presence will change the course of MHA because this story currently takes place 8 years prior to the begging of the manga.
There will be a timeskip or two in this story but for now I'm currently building on Wolverine adapting to the world but do be aware that this will indeed change some of the characters that end up in Class 1-A and B.
Also, I don't know who Logan should end up with because I'm torn between Mandalay, Pixie-Bob and Mirko. I should either pick one or have him end up with all three. This story will utilise elements from every part of the Marvel franchise like outfits and abilities. So do expect some outfits and moves from Marvel Rivals to turn up at somepoint.
Enjoy!
