Not long after Hank Pym became the first Ant-Man , Janet van Dyne joined him as the Wasp , seeking to avenge her father's death . She later became a founding member of the avengers and remained with the team until her apperent death during the Skrull invasion of Earth . After discovering that Janet might still be alive , Hank is attempting to bring her back .
