Natalia Romanova [aka Natasha Romanova] was trained to be one of the Soviet Union's top spies . She was codenamed the Black Widow and sent to the U.S.A to spy on Tony Stark's [Iron Man's] company but met Hawkeye who convinced her to leave her Soviet Masters  . She has since worked with SHIELD and the Avengers and was a member of the champions of Los Angeles .
