"Don't worry Jameson, you'll love it!" Peter patted me on the back. I looked at the mansion doors in front of me and took a deep breath.

"I can do this, I can do this right?" I looked over at Peter who nodded with a grin. I opened the door and was instantly in awe by the mutants that walked around the school. I shut the door and started walking away.

"Hey, where are you going?" Peter asked, speeding to my side.

"I can't do this Peter."

"What not?" He asked throwing an arm over my shoulder.

"Because look at them! You wouldn't be able to tell they were mutants by looking at them," I look at my hands and back to Peter "Look at me Peter! I'm green!"

Peter's face softened and he rubbed my arm supportively "Don't worry about it, I know a guy that's blue and a girl that sparkles."

I rolled my eyes and continued to walk down the driveway of the mansion to my car. Peter zoomed off and I smiled, happy I was alone. Just as I arrived at my car Peter was in front of me with some guy who was bright blue.

"Peter, who is this?" I sighed knowing exactly what he was doing.

"This is Kurt, my blue friend. I'll let you two get to know each other." He said and zoomed off before I could react.

"So." Kurt said awkwardly. He had an accent, not American hmm interesting. "What do you do?"

"Hm?" I asked not really listening to what he was saying.

"Oh er I asked what do you do?"

"Oh I can control shadows." I said smiling.

"Like Peter Pan?" He asked.

"Yeah." I laughed "Watch." I looked at the shadow of the mansion and moved it so it formed a massive 'X' I then moved it over to where we were stood before throwing it back to it's original spot and form. Kurt seemed amazed which made me feel a little better about myself. "How about you?" I asked.

"Teleportation." He answered. I frowned causing him to smile mischeviously and before I could blink he was gone.

I panicked and then felt a tap on my back I screamed and jumped in the air to hear someone laughing behind me. "That's not funny!"

Kurt continued laughing and nodded "Oh but it is." I rolled my eyes.

"So, are you coming inside or what?" He asked.

"Do people bully you?" I asked "About your skin?"

He shook his head "Not at all."

I nodded slowly and smiled "Okay then, I can do this."
