You arrived home from work and hung up your coat and keys, slid off your shoes and went into tbe living room to find it empty "Bar?" You shouted softly. After no response you walked up the stairs softly. "Barry?" You raised your voice now but you were still met with scilence "Barry, you're scaring me!" You carefully tiptoed towards your bedroom to hear a small whimper inside. You walked in to find Barry staring at the floor, tears running down his face as he cried. "Bar!" You asked concerned.

His head snapped towards you and he immediately wiped away his tears, a smile now on his face "Hey, I didn't hear you come in." He smiled engulfing you in a hug.

"Barry what's wrong?" You asked pulling out of the hug with a concerned look on your face.

"N-nothing. I just didn't expect you to be home early that's all!"

"Barry!" You said firmly whilst placing a hand on your hip. His walls instantly broke down as he began to whimper before you could react he just burst out crying. You wrapped your arms around him and gently rubbed circles on his back as he sobbed into your shoulder. "It's okay." You kept repeating softly. You led him over to the bed where he sat down and continued to sob as you slowly rocked him back and forth. After about 15 minutes he eventually calmed down and wiped away his tears.

"Do you want to talk about it?" You smiled reassuringly, still rubbing his back.

He just nodded slowly and looked at you. You were shocked as you took in his broken, tear stained face. You'd never seen him like this and it made you realise how long he must've been holding this in. "This is my fault." He just mumbled.

You frowned "W-what's your fault Bar?"

He waved his arms around in the air "Everything! Everything that's ever happened to us!"

You frowned, still rubbing his back because you know how much it calms him. "Is this about flashpoint." Barry just nodded. "Barry none of this is your fault! If I could back in time and save my parents...trust me I would. I wouldn't even consider the consequences. Barry to see both your parents murdered in front of you hurts. It takes along time to get over it, trust me I know. So don't you think for one second any of this was your fault. You made a mistake!" You shrugged "and you tried to fix it, that just shows your human Barry...okay?"

Barry just nodded before hugging you again, he hugged you like it was the last time he'd ever see you. "I love you,
(Y/N/N)."

"I love you too." You smiled before kissing him.

I know it's been ages since I wrote a chapter (well it seems like ages) so I decided to write this one as I've just watched the Flash super crossover. I live in England so I always watch it the day after it's broadcasted in America but can I just say "Best team up ever!" -Felicity Smoak
