You were wondering around Stark tower, trying to avoid Natasha and Tony when your tripped on air and landed on your face "Shit!" You shouted as you hit the floor.

Steve ran over to you and helped you up "Y/N are you okay?"

"Peachy." You frowned taking his hand and getting up.

Tony walked past you and laughed "Cap doesn't like that kind of language Y/N." This caused you to blush a bit, you saw Tony raise an eyebrow at you before shaking his head and walking off.

Steve turned to look at you and smiled "I don't mind if you curse, you were brought up differently than me." You just smiled thankfully before going back to your room.

You were sat watching a movie with Steve when Tony plopped down on the couch and slung an arm around you "Whatcha watching?"

"Erm H-Harry Potter six." Tony just nodded and sat there and continued to watch the movie with you.

Half way through the movie Steve left after getting a call from Sam. You knew it was to do with Bucky and that Steve didn't want Tony knowing so you didn't ask him about it. As soon as Steve left Tony sighed "I thought he'd never leave!" You just chuckled awkwardly. "Soooooo." Tony said in a sing song voice "Somebody has
cru-ush." He sang teasingly.

Your face went  as red as a tomato and you shook your head "I don't know what your talking about."

He adjusted so he was facing you "Oh P-lease it's clear you have the hots for Miss America."

"I don't like Steve." You laughed awkwardly. I like you, you thought.

"Sure you don't match stick." You just chuckled awkwardly.

"Erm I er have somewhere to be, er yeah so I'll se you later." You got up and ran to elevator, deciding to take a walk.

Bruce was having you test your fire abilities by flying around New York with Thor. Half way through your trip, you saw Tony fly next to you in his suit. "Mind if I tag along?"

You shook your head and gave him a timid smile. "So what's going on between you and Cap?" He questioned.

"Nothing, why do you care?" Tony just shrugged and fired a repulsor beam at one of the targets Bruce had set up around the city. "That's meant for me!" He just shrugged again like he didn't care.

You halted and just hovered in the air. Tony slowed down and looked at you his robotic voice echoing through the air "You okay?" He asked.

"Peachy." You mumbled flying back to Stark Tower, too fast for Tony to catch up. You went into your room and slammed the door.

"Y/N, open the door." You ignored him and blasted out fall out boy, trying to ignore him. "I'll tell Steve you like him." That's it you thought. You paused your music and stormed over to your door swinging it open. Tony saw how angry you were and flinched.

"You don't get it do you?!"

Tony frowned, confused at why you were so mad "I was only joking, I won't actually tell Steve!"

You started prodding him in the chest with your finger causing him to stumble backwards "When won't you get it into your thick skull that I don't like Steve and that I like you!" Your face went pale and you looked at Tony who was just confused. You ran off with Tony chasing after you.

Two weeks later

You had been avoiding Tony and frankly he was sick of it so one night when you were in your room Tony knocked on your door "Who is it?" You called out.

"Tony." Tony replied.

You sighed and continued with your book when suddenly you heard a click. You looked up and saw Tony open the door. "I designed these doors you know, so I know how to back them." You rolled your eyes and marked your book looking up at him.

"What do you want?"

"I wanted to ask you why you're ignoring me?"

You stood up and looked him in the eyes "Because I'm worthless. I can't go on any missions because Fury says I'm 'unstable'. I made a fool of myself! I made myself look like a complete idiot in front of you and then told you I like you when you clearly don't feel the same way and-"

Tony cut you off by putting his finger on your lips "Don't you ever say your worthless okay?"

You nodded and he removed his finger from your lips "And for the record I happen to feel the same way towards you, so whatever your getting worked up about is a lie."

You smiled from ear to ear. You both looked into the others eyes lovingly. Before you knew what was happening Tony crashed his lips onto yours. You reacted instantly and kissed him back, your arms went around his neck as you played with his hair and he pulled you closer to him by wrapping his arms around your waist. You both pulled away for breath and he rested his forehead on yours. "God I love you." He breathed.

"I love you too." You smiled.

"Finally!" You heard someone shout behind you. You squealed and jumped in the air causing Tony and Rhodes to laugh at you. You rolled your eyes as Tony snaked his left arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him, placing a kiss on your head.
