Christmas eve

Bucky was out training with Steve so you decided to use your assassin skills to find where he had hidden your presents.

You looked all over the apartment until you decided they were not in there.

"If I were a present for me...where would I be?" You pondered whilst slowly turning in a circle.

Your eye caught a glimmer from the skyscraper across the street. You ran over to the window, a mischevious smirk forming on your face.

"Stark Tower!"

You grabbed your coat and ran across the street and into the lobby of Stark Tower when you ran into Clint (literally). "Watch where you're going kid." He chuckled as you dusted yourself off.

"Hey Clint?" You asked innocently.

"Yessss?" He replied wearily

"Your a spy right?"

A smile formed on Clint's face as he stood up taller and replied cockily "Yes, why'd you ask?"

"I'll pay you $10 if you help me find where Bucky has hidden my christmas present!"

Clint chuckled and stuck his hand out whilst you shook it "Deal!"

3 hours...thats how long you've been searching this tower. You sighed in defeat as you hopped out of the air vents. "Did you ever stop to think he didn't get you anything?" Clint asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Who didn't get who what?" You heard the confused voice of Bucky behind you.

You turned around and smiled innocently (again) "N-nothing."

He raised an eyebrow and chuckled "I don't buy it."

"It's a surprise," you elbowed Clint lightly in the stomach and smiled "isn't it Clint?"

"Huh? Oh er yeah." Bucky shrugged and walked over to you hugging you.

You hugged him back before leaping out of his arms "Your all sweaty!" You shouted.

Bucky acted hurt and placed a hand on his chest "You don't want to cuddle me? Because I'm a little sweaty?!"

You snorted "Little talk about understatement of the century!"

A cheeky grin formed on Bucky's face as he opened his arms and started walking towards you "Awww, don't you want a cuddle?"

You started walking backwards until your back hit the wall "I-I'm g-good thanks."

Bucky laughed as he engulfed you in a bear hug "I love you soooo much." He laughed whilst hugging you tighter.

"If you love me you'll let me go" (See what I did there? 😏😏)

Bucky sighed and released you causing a smile to form on your face.

"Soooo what are you doing here?" Bucky asked whilst wiggling his eyebrows.

"Like I said," you teased "it's a surprise."

Christmas day

You woke up to find Bucky wasn't laid next to you. You shot up out of bed in panic that someone had taken him. You ran into the living room to see Nat sat on the counter of your open kitchen.

You walked over to her wearily "Nat, what have you done to my boyfriend?"

She just shrugged before replying "My names Blurryface and..."

You frowned for a second before your face lit up "I care what you think!"

Nat looked at you with an excited smile. "So what does that mean?"

You pondered on it for a second before asking her "Is he at Tony's?"

Natasha chuckled, hopping off the counter "How did you get 'Tony's place' from that?"

You clicked your fingers excited that you'd figured out his little puzzle "Because before one of Tony's parties he kept asking me why I kept asking only him if I looked okay and that's what I shouted at him..."

Nat shrugged and threw you an outfit that had your favourite blouse and black leggings with a (f/c) winter coat to put over. "Only one way to find out."

You ran to your bedroom and got changed as fast as you could, threw on the coat and slid on a pair of boots before running to Stark Towers, to find Tony waiting in the lobby.

"Hey, (Y/N/N). Want your next clue?"

You approached Tony with a frown "Next clue?"

"Yup." Tony replied popping the 'p'.

You sighed knowing if you wanted to find your boyfriend you would have to play his little game "Fine, shoot." You sighed.

"Miss Jackson?" He said with a chuckle.

"Are you nasty!" You shouted with excitement. "So that means..."

Tony laughed at your confused face. "What does he hate?" He whispered as if Bucky could hear him giving you the answer.

"Starbucks!" You laughed. Tony just nodded slightly and you left the lobby and headed to the local Starbucks to see Steve waiting there. You rolled your eyes and gave Steve a friendly hug "Your in on this too?" You questioned.

Steve nodded excitedly before giving you your next clue "Do I wanna know?" Steve chuckled.

You frowned, this clue actually confused you "Do I wanna know?" You mumbled to yourself for several minutes before you looked at Steve with a frown and said "If this feeling flows both ways?"

Steve laughed whilst nodding. "Central Park? When we both confessed our feelings?"

Steve shrugged playfully "I can't tell you otherwise that would rhim the game."

You playfully hit him on the arm before catching a cab to central park. When you arrived at the spot you both confessed your love you saw Clint standing there "What have you got for me Barton?"

You laughed now getting the hang of the game "My lips are chapped and faded."

You smiled because you knew this song straight away, who wouldn't! "Call my aunt Marie." You laughed and Clint handed you a phone in which you called your great aunt Marie.

"Hello?" She answered the phone in her old croaky voie.

"Hey aunt Marie, it's er (Y/N)...I was told to call you."

"By a dead band." You heard Clint mutter causing you to elbow him in the stomach and wind him.

"Ah yes." She laughed "That young man you've been seeing came to visit me to ask me to tell you that, hm what did he sat again? Give me a second I wrote it down." She croaked causing you to laugh.

You waited around 30 seconds before you heard her 'hooray' because she found the slip of paper. "He told me to tell you that... The blank knows something I don't?" She said confused. "Is that supposed to mean something?"

You chuckled "It's a song title aunt, thank you!"

"No problem dearie, merry Christmas." She laughed heartedly.

"Merry Christmas aunt."

You gave the phone back to Clint who had a frown on his face. "What the answer?" He asked confused.

"The answer, my small minded archer is piano."

"Piano?" Clint asked nobody in particular "What's that supposed to mean?"

"I taught Bucky how to play 'Welcome to the Black Parade' on my mother's piano."

Clint nodied and gave you a friendly pat on the back "Well, I'm off now kid but have a good one!"

"You too." You laughed as you began to walk to your mother's.

You arrived at your mother's to see her sat by the piano "Hello mother." You smiled cheerfully.

"Hello." She smiled giving you a hug. "Now I may not agree with what's going on but I can see you truly love him so here's your last clue." She handed you a piece of paper which you recognised immediately, it was the piece of paper Bucky gave to you when he asked you out on your first date because he was too shy.

What was originally on the paper wasn't there anymore and it was replaced by this message:

Roses are red, violets are blue, I’m uncreative- sad, but it’s true.

I’m not a boy given to poetry’s wiles and you’re not a girl who likes it either.

You giggled at this as tears of joy began to form in your eyes.

I’ve never been able to master a verse and you’ve always preferred me to be rather terse.

The moment I seem to be on to a roll I write something that’s not appealing at all.

So though we can’t string two rhymes together I love you, and I want to love you forever.

So will you marry me?

You frowned at looked at your mother for an answer but she was looking behind you. You turned around to see Bucky in a black suit with a black tie, his hair was tied in a bun and he was on one knee holsing the prettiest ring you'd ever seen.

"So?" He asked with a smile.

"Yes you cheesy dork!" He jumped up and pulled you into a hug, completely forgetting to put the ring on your finger. He squealed like a little girl and hugged you tighter which caused you to laugh. "Bucky." You whispered.

"Hm?" He replied snapping out of his happy trance.

"The ring." You laughed which caused his eyes to widen before slipping the ring on your finger.

You heard a cheer and turned around to see every one stood there smiling at you and Bucky "Merry Christmas." Bucky smiled.

"Merry Christmas." You replied, looking into his eyes.

"Just kiss already!" Tony shouted from behind you causing Bucky to shrug and connect his lips with yours.

"Best.Christmas.Ever!" You giggled.

I did it! I uploaded a chapter! I was determined to upload this today, well...technically it's yesterday where I am because it's 00:54 am but there will be another chapter later today. This counts as yesterday's. God that sounds so weird to say 😂 anyway hoped you liked it!
