Steve watched as h/c girl walked into the room, then sitting in front of the Avengers. Silence settled over the room as she placed a folder on the desk and flicked it over to him.

He raised his eyes to meet her steady gaze.

She cocked her head to the side, waiting for him to open the file.

The rest of the Avengers stared at him, expectantly.

He carefully picked up the file and opened it.

"Well?" Tony said, breaking the silence. "What does it say?"

"She found it." Steve stated.

The tension in the room was released as they all gave a inaudible sigh.

Y/N had a slight smirk on her face, then turning into a fake sad face, placing her hand in her chest. "You didn't believe me? I'm hurt."

She stood up and smiled at them, then mock bowing "Well, that's all." She winked and saluted, "See you later."

And she waltzed out the door, leaving the rest of the Avengers to discuss on the mission.

Steve found himself leaving the room and following Y/N.

Ever since the Avengers hired her to find the location, Steve was fascinated about her. Maybe it's because she could find a top secret location when a billionaire, 2 spies, a soldier and a doctor couldn't. Or maybe she's just entrancing.

She turned a corner and when Steve did, She want there.

Steve's eyebrows knitted in confusion, the interrupted by a cleared throat.

"Need anything, Captain?" She asked, raising a eyebrow.

"Uh- Yeah, how did you find out?" He quickly lied.

"A magician never reveals her secrets." She said. "Anything else?"

"After the mission... How about we, uh.. Um.. Are you f-free?" He stuttered out.

"Are you, Captain America, asking me out?" She said with a faint smile on her lips.

Steve watched as she walked away, disappearing away from him.

He stared at the hallway for a good 5 minutes then remembering the mission.

Tony raised his eyebrow.

Thor had a broad a smile on his face, the patting Steve on the back.

While Clint was trying not to laugh, then failing miserably.

"They eavesdropped in on you." Bruce said.

"Way to throw us under the bus." Tony grumbled then beaming at Steve. "Smooth Cap, like sandpaper."
