Chapter 9

Astrid POV.

This time I had held onto Barry for dear life as he ran back to the school. I was holding onto him tightly. I was panicking. I don't think I will be letting go of him, they will probably have to pray me off of him when we get there or I let go and hide like a fucking pussy.

I could tell that we were in the school now. But it was still quiet and I could see that no one was behind us. I close my eyes and digged my face in the nap of his neck. I didn't know what to do. I could feel my body start to hurt again and of course I know what that means. My other soulmates were close by and I really don't know what to do.

Third person POV.

Astrid finally got the courage to place her feet to the ground and pulled herself away from him. Right away her teachers were flocking around the two fastest man alive.

"Hey Flash, Quicksilver I have questions for you" Mr. Andersen said walking over to them and took them away from her.

Shuri was pulled away also and that gave Astrid the chance to run... well hide. She didn't know what to do so all she wanted to do was go to the art class and hide there until the school ends.

It took Astrid a couple of minutes to get there and when she did she sat in the back of the class like she usually does. Astrid made sure that the classroom door was shut and the lights were off.

The light of the sun shines through the windows enough to were she is able to draw or paint with out the lights on.

Astrid pushed her hair away from her face before she went into her jean pocket and pulled out her hair elastic and pulled it back into a messy bun.

She got up from her chair and walked around the room and grabbed what she would need to draw. Astrid placed everything onto the table and went to work on something random.

Across the school a medium size room was filled with everyone. Tony Stark, Clint Barton, Bruce Banner, Steve Roger, Bucky Barnes, Natasha Romanoff, Wanda Maximoff, Pietro Maximoff, Thor, Loki, Peter Parker, Sam Wilson, T'challa, Shuri, Maria Hill, Scott Lang, Carol, Pepper, Doctor Strange, Erik Killmonger, Hope, Bruce Wayne, Diana, Barry Allen, Arthur, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Wally West, Damian Wayne and Clark Kent stood around the room.

"What is happening here?" Wally asks. He stood by Barry with his arms crossed over his chest, "Why are we here?" He adds on.

Tony clapped his hands together, "Well your friend beside you told us such shocking news but.... something amazing news" he said.

"And what would that be?" Bruce Wayne asks. Bruce looked to Barry who rubs the back of his neck. "Well I talked to my... our soulmate today....." he didn't know what to say really. He was awkward and all eyes were on him.

"Astrid is her name. She is beautiful" he added on. He smiled as he imagine her in his head.

"Our..?" Diana asks. "Yes she has 30 soulmates" Shuri said. "I am one of them and I agree with Barry. She is beautiful" she added on.

The room stayed quite as they looked around each other. Tony counted around the room and he counted 30.

"Ok so I have to share her with 29 other people?" Tony barked. Barry point his pointing finger at Tony, "Yes, exactly that" he replied back fast. "And Captain... you brusied her nose, her eyes are going to looking like rocket" Shuri jumped in.

Steve sighs and rubbed his fingers through his hair. Fuck. He didn't mean to do anything to hurt her, he promised when he was younger that he would never hurt his soulmate and now he had already did so. He slammed the heavy gym door open on her face and brusied her nose and eyes.

Steve Roger's was feeling guilty.
