Everything was dark. You didn't know how you got here.. you were with your caregiver then all of a sudden everything was pitch black.
The world was full of black and gray, no sunshine, not even the slightest sign of blue skies anywhere.

Y/N wanted to close his eyes but they wouldn't dare shut closed. Not even to blink. He was so memorized by the new area that his body was practically frozen.
"W-where am I..?"
He muttered. "Loki? Are you here?"
His voice echoed throughout what seemed like the whole world. Nobody was here to hear you.

"Loki please.. you have to be here, where did you go?"
You tried to yell, but it sounded just the same as last time. Only a whispered echo.
Your heart was beating faster and faster by the second. Your mind started to get fuzzy. Your blurred eyes could see your hands shaking in terror.. you attempted to wipe the tears away, but your body was still in shock.

"Bubby..!! Cwome back..!"
He cried, his body falling on the floor. His cries sounded so quiet yet so loud.. he hated it. He hated the feeling of being so overwhelmed that anything can push him over the edge. He tried his best to gain back his composure, but nothing he did could get himself to calm down. The tears felt endless.

Suddenly, you felt a pair of arms wrap around you. You wanted to acknowledge the embrace, but your tears wouldn't stop falling. You tried to talk, but it call came out as broken babbles and sentences.

"Oh my, what's gotten you in so much distress?"
You knew that voice.. you knew that voice!!
With some of the strength your body had left you wiped away the tears from your eyes. Your vision was still somewhat blurry.. but you saw the figures face and recognized it instantly.
"B-Bubba..!"
You babbled. The figure looked at you confused, "I apologize.. but I don't know who you're referring to."

"Bubba! Bubba!!"
You snuggled closer to him, you could feel the material of his tie rub against your soft cheeks.
Loki sighed, but smiled at your innocence. "Alright then, I suppose I'm bubba. Now, could you please tell me your name?"
Y/N couldn't respond properly. He tried to blurt out his name but it came out as a broken sentence.
Loki could see the visible frustration on your face.

"I understand if you can't tell me, it's quite alright. I'll just call you.."
He thought for a moment, shortly after he looked at you with a smile, "Prince. It sounds fitting for a cutie like yourself."
President Loki sat down with you in his arms. Y/N kept on babbling in excitement. The bliss of being in your headspace had fully taken over you now. You felt so small, yet so safe at the same time. The world no longer felt scary with your bubba around.

"How did you get here..?"
Loki thought, there hasn't been anyone in the void for a very long time. He's been alone waiting for the proper opportunity to come back to Earth. He just hasn't been able to figure out exactly how yet. Maybe you were another variant of himself? No.. you looked nothing like him.
As he kept looking at you..he couldn't help but gain back memories of when he was in Asgard. When he used to take care of his brother..sometimes he wishes he could go back.

His thoughts were interrupted by your adorable babbles. You seemed so content with just looking at him. He had his fingers dance around on your tummy, making you giggle loudly.
"Aren't you just the cutest thing?" He cooed, "I apologize for the lack of things I have for you.. I was quite unprepared."
Loki sat you down in front of him, your body kept wobbling from side to side. "But I can work with what I have."

Loki covered his face with his hands, "Where am I, prince?"

Y/N tilted his head in confusion. He could see his bubba's body, but not his face? How was that possible? Where did bubba go?
Loki took his hands away from his face and had a silly smile, "Here I am!"
Y/N squealed and giggled in delight. "Bubbbaaa!!" He dragged out his words.

Loki chuckled before fully disappearing this time. His body wasn't there, his face wasn't there, his legs were gone.. everything was gone.
Y/N started to panic, tears started to enter his eyes. Without Loki in your eye sight the whole world felt scary again.
"Bubba..?"

"Here I am!"
Y/N jumped and turned around to see Loki with a goofy smile behind him. Just as fast as your tears came, a smile came even faster. Y/N turned around and giggled at Loki's trick.
Loki frowned a little bit, "I suppose I scared you a little, hm? I'm sorry, my prince."
Loki picked you up and held you tight, feeling slightly guilty for almost making you cry. You didn't seem to care anymore, all you knew is that your bubba was back, and that made you happy.

"You're so adorable.. you remind me of someone I used to know, always giggling."
He muttered, Y/N just smiled in response. He eyed Loki's fingers that were resting on his tummy. Y/N giggled and took one of Loki's fingers and stuck it in his mouth.
Loki took out his finger from your mouth and wiped the drool away on his coat, "No my prince, you can't bite on my fingers. I need those."

Y/N whined and went to reach for another one of Loki's fingers but he removed his fingers before you could even pick one up again.
"Bubbaaaa.."

"I know, I know. I'm so mean."
He chuckled and sat down on the grass with you in his arms still. There was a pout spread across your face. Even your cheeks were turning a slight dent of red from frustration.
"Sorry, I suppose you'd like a soother.. I unfortunately don't have one. But I can try to make one."
Loki held out his hand and closed his eyes, a wave of green magic came swarming in his hand, then suddenly a pacifier appeared.
You squealed and grabbed the pacifier from his hand, sticking it in your mouth instantly.

Y/N nuzzled into Loki whilst suckling on his pacifier contently. The more suckles, the deeper he fell into his headspace. He felt safe with Loki here.. all he wanted was to snuggle deeper into his embrace and sleep. Y/N could feel Loki's heartbeat go in a consistent pattern, the consistency made him sleepy.

Loki saw how droopy his eyes were and smiled,
"You're just a sleepy baby, aren't you?" He laughed.

"Sweet dreams, little one. I hope to see you again soon."

~Timeskip~

"Little one."

"My love, it's time to get up."

"Brother you must wake them up with force. He wouldn't wake up with just a nudge!"

Y/N felt a rapid shake on his crib, his eyes jolted open instantly. He saw a very concerned Loki and a proud looking Uncle Thor.

"Jesus, brother. You scared him."
He nudged his brother with his arm the carried you up from the crib, holding him bridal style in her arms.
"My poor baby, sorry that meanie woke you up."
She cooed, bouncing you around a bit to help wake you up more subtly. But thanks to Thor you were already pretty much awake.
You wiped away the sleepy from your eyes and smiled at your Bubba, gurgling some words to her.

"See? He's still in good spirits still! You should get me to wake up Y/N more often. You mustn't doubt me so much brother". Thor boomed. He tickled you on your tummy before leaving.

"You seemed to be having a very eventful dream, what were you dreaming about my love?"
Loki asked. Y/N gave answers through babbles and broken sentences. He tried to do hand gestures with his hands too to emphasize what he was saying.

"Really? Is that so?"
Loki chuckled, she continued to hear your story and carried you out of your nursery to feed you some breakfast.
She turned off the lights to the nursery and walked out,

She couldn't wait to spend the day with you.

But I really love the concept of Y/N getting to know all the different Loki's. Like frost giant Loki?! That would be so so cool!!
