Marshall pov
We were watching a scary movie that I threatened gumball to watch and the whole time, I couldn't focus because the more he got scared, the more he got closer and closer to me. I watched every move he made. By the end, he was on my lap with his arms tightly wrapped around my neck. It was quiet and surprisingly awkward when he finally noticed that he was on top of me.
The credits rolled slower and slower after each second until the home screen popped up. I squirmed very slightly and cleared my throat which seemed to startle gumball.
"Gumball..." I stared at him and he returned the sharp look. We locked eyes for a long amount of time and eventually one of us gave in...
It was gumball. He leaned in closer. Our lips were an inch away from contact and I could already taste the sweet bubblegum flavor of his lips that I had been craving.
Before I knew it, his tongue was in my mouth and mine was in his. We deepened our kiss, letting gumball take over as he pulled my head in with his hands.
