Szzay pulled me up

from where I was sitting

as soon as I'd inhaled

a smooth toke from my one hitter

slowly exhaling .. I tried to keep pace

never before had I seen a moon maiden dance

much less .. just to even see a moon maiden

she's a ball of fire .. I never knew what to expect

gyrating madly .. she twisted and turned oddly

strange dance moves .. not humanly possible

I moved way too slow .. it wasn't long

Kokopelli's cut in .. taking her hand

God knows .. I was taking it in, enjoying all

Hendrix ambled over to lean with me

against ancient boulders .. his sweat hit the sand

laughing .. grinning, he'd finished his set

playing with his teeth .. never missed a beat

Szzay and the Kokopelli's kicked up the sand

sharing my one hitter with Jimi

great music never stopped

tripping so high .. rubbed my bleary eyes

it was none other than Iron Butterfly

assaulting the thick, desert air

In A Gadda Da Vida reached my ears

Jimi asked if I had extra beer

choking .. sputtering.. I said, sure man

right behind you .. in the boulder's crevice shade

he reached to get them .. a cobra licked his hand

I told him .. sorry, I haven't any purple haze

Hendrix smiled .. stating he'd brought his own stash

stating the Kokopelli's are some cool cats

I passed my one hitter back to him

after hitting it .. he said, yeah man

partied with them at Woodstock '69

they're from the Bay area .. Haight-Ashbury

I thought to myself .. this private party is to die for

if only Fiarria and HarleyBill could be here

momentarily .. I wondered where they're at

Kokopelli's had dragged Szzay over towards me

dehydrated .. her face color had turned dark red

she uttered words no one could understand

Jimi .. I drenched her face and head with our beers

drinking as fast as she could .. only gurgles were heard

took us a while to realize she was completely nude

Kokopelli's never quit dancing .. whilst they announced

Janis Joplin would be coming on next
