Asmita came back to Ekantha after informing Principal that Ekantha would be taking up the responsibility.

Ekantha unpacked her stuff from her bag and switched on her laptop. She opened the school mail to see if there were any official mails, the other day Asmita asked her to do it first and revert back to her if there was something important to do. She was going through the mails but her mind was revolving around Vennela and how to deal with her.

Asmita came back from the principal's cabin and settled down beside Ekantha.

"Checking mails? Great! Anything important to revert?",Asmita asked.

"A few of them, I'll make a note of them and revert back to you. What did Principal ma'am say?",she asked.

"She's happy as long as you manage both the jobs efficiently. As you are taking up two persons job you might get an increase in pay as well",she said with a smile on her face.

"That's good! Don't think I am nagging you but can you please brief me about the duties Asmita?",she asked feeling awkward.

"Aye, that's nothing about nagging. I understand you okay? So..",she sums up all the works and Ekantha listens intently and mentally notes down all of them.

"I would need to know if any of our students are active on social media who can promote us and help me with quite a few things Asmita",she said after listening to all the things Asmita said.

"I'll ask our School Captains to revert to you? Yea?",she asked and Ekantha nods.

"Here is the list to revert Asmita, I'll see what to do with the other things and in lunch or their free hour please ask them to meet me",she said and Asmita nods while taking the list of things to revert.

Ekantha gets busy in researching about content writing for social media, graphic designing and video editing, themes and editing stuff. Time flew and it was lunch time.

She quickly completed her lunch and got back to work, when she was completely immersed in her work.

"Excuse me ma'am",she heard a unison of two voices. In front of her stood a guy and girl of Grade 10 with School Captain badge hanging on their shoulder. They were waiting for her to respond.

"Please take your seat, I was actually waiting for you. Are you both free now?",she asked.

"Yes ma'am. Asmita ma'am asked us to meet you either during lunch once we are done or after school so we quickly completed it and came here",the girl said.

"Thank you, actually I wanted small help from you guys. Our school is planning to launch itself on social media that might be any social media but I guess the hot social media at the moment is Instagram, I was appointed to take care of it along with the administration. My name is Ekantha and you both?",she asked with a pleasant smile on her face.

"I'm Ajay ma'am, Ajay Sharma",the guy said.

"I'm Valli ma'am, Valli Natarajan",the girl said.

"Nice names, so I just scrolled through the internet to find some tips and techniques. I seem to find everything but experience is more required than knowledge alone is what I feel. Do you both have Instagram accounts?",she asked.

"I do have one ma'am but I am not much active on it, I used to be but we have some friends who are very active on Instagram. There are some influencers as well ma'am. Maybe if we can form a team for this it would help according to me. What do you say Ajay?",Valli asked.

"I agree with Valli, ma'am if experience and knowledge gets hand in hand it would be a success for sure",he said and Valli nods.

"But, I don't want you all to waste your time on this when I am paid to do this job",Ekantha says nervously.

"It's okay ma'am, we can make some memories too and learn together. We won't work while exams except that we have some or the other free period daily and we can always discuss like this during lunch",Ajay says.

"Alright then, let's do this I will talk to Principal ma'am and you students of 5-7 members can form a team. You guys can generate the ideas, you'll be given credits in the page, I will convert them into posts and stuff that sounds better?",she said and both of them nodded.

The bell rang and Ekantha asked both of them to go back to their classes and she would inform them the next day after having a talk with the principal. Both of them got back to their classes.

While Ekantha wanted to enroll in few content writing courses but before that she wanted to have a talk with principal.

"Asmita, can I have a talk with Principal ma'am?",she asked.

"Sure, actually you can go any time you wish to. I guess ma'am would go for lunch, I'll tell you when she comes back okay?",she said and Ekantha nods and gets back to her desk.

Keeping all the social media work aside, she starts working on some office works. She feels her stomach hurting like hell and that's when realization hits her that it was her period time. As expected, she got her periods. She went to the washroom and came back to her desk after doing the needful.

"Ekantha, ma'am is here you can go",she said and Ekantha walks to the principal cabin.

"May I come in ma'am?",she knocked the door.

"Yes Ekantha come in! Take your seat",she said.

Ekantha sat in front of her and explained everything to her.

"That's a good idea as long as the students doesn't take special interest in this and ignore their studies I don't have any problem",she said.

"Sure ma'am I will make sure of it and thank you. I'll take your leave now",she said and left the cabin.

She came back to her cabin and Asmita asked her to go to the third floor and get some files as the peon had gone out. Having no other option, Ekantha reached the lift but it wasn't working. She just looked at the steps in front of her and started climbing them. She felt her stomach was twisting and with each step she took her legs were aching.

With great difficulty she managed to get them and Asmita thanked her while she gave a forced smile on her face to not to make Asmita feel guilty.

The school time was done and she booked an auto back to home having no energy left to walk to the bus stop and take a bus. She totally forgot that Vennela would come and pick her up.

She reached home and took a head bath and fell on the bed, the period cramps were hitting hard and being her first day didn't make it any better it was as if her uterus was throwing a party down there.

Her phone buzzed but she was in no mood to answer it nor reach out to the table to atleast look who was calling her.

Few hours passed and she heard someone shouting outside, she removed the duvet from her and washed her face. She opened the door to see Vennela, Aryan and Anika were fighting with each other while her mother was trying to calm them down.

"What's happening here?",Ekantha yells.

"Ekantha you promised me you will talk to me and when I came to pick you up Asmita told me you already left. If you didn't wanted to talk and needed some more time you could have told me, why are you playing this hide and seek?",Vennela asked.

"What? I am not playing any hide and seek Vennu, I wasn't feeling well that's the reason I came back home as soon as school was over",she said.

"I came just 15 mins later Ekantha and please you were fine in the morning right? Are you trying to avoid me Ekantha?",she was glaring at her.

"Vennu, please try to understand. I agree I was fine in the morning, I got my periods in school after lunch and I wasn't able to bear the pain, I was stressed and tired and no I am not avoiding you nor trying to give you any excuse",she said and Vennela's eyes softened, she was guilty for all the things she spoke.

"I am sorry Ekantha, I over reacted please forgive me. I should not have done all this",she bent her head down.

"Anika, you go to my room we'll talk about this okay?",Ekantha said and Anika sighed walking away from there.

"Do you want to rest? We can deal with this later also",Vennela spoke in a low voice.

"Nope, let's do it today and now Vennu. I don't want this issue to bring out more disturbances in our friendship. Tell me all the things you want to and I will listen before that do you want to have something coffee or tea? Aryan, what do you prefer coffee or tea?",Ekantha asked.

"Nope, I'm good",Arya replied.

"I badly need a tea",Vennela said and Ekantha goes to the kitchen and makes tea for Vennela.

She comes back after a good ten minutes and handed her tea while some lemonade for Aryan who was seated beside Vennela. Ekantha asked her mother to go back and rest and she would take care of things.

"So, Aryan and me hit off as freshers to be very honest we were each other's competitors. We have had cracked projects and stuff to win on each other and noticing this office HR put us into same team and same project. Seems cliche but it did happen, I've heard he had a break up and that was because of him but good thing was he never showed his mood during work but only work when we have to. We became friends slowly and one fine day he told it all to me which I can't tell only to you but I need to tell Anika as well. He feels very guilty for being a toxic relationship partner to her and torturing her, he wishes to not to meet her and disturb her again and bring back all those memories. I guess they need a closure to not to have any more misunderstandings in future. He proposed me on my last birthday in front of my parents and everyone accepted our relationship along with me. That's what happened, trust me he changed and there is indeed a reason for him to behave like that",she completed saying and Ekantha looked at both of them with a blank face.

"I'll need to know more about this and need some time to digest all this as well I hope you understand",she says and Vennela holds her hand and assures her in a positive way.

"We'll do it some other day or?",Vennela asked.

"I'll go check on Anika and tell you",she said and got up from there. She opened the door to see Anika sitting on the table near window. She went and placed her hand on Anika's shoulder.

Anika looked back at her.

"Anika, do you want to do this today?",she asked and Anika nodded.

"Are you sure? You know you can do this later also right?",she asked.

"But we've had enough time to come till here Ekantha, I badly need a closure and maybe it has to happen now",she said.

"Don't force yourself for it, let it happen how it has to and today I am going to be with you just like you were behind me whenever I needed you. I know you can do this Ani, you are strong. Shall we go there now? ",Ekantha asked and Anika nodded. 

The four of them sat in the living room and..

After really really long I know, to cover up you'll get an update tomorrow as well yipee but after that I don't know sigh. Exams have been draining energy out of me. Let's stop my rant.
