Chapter Fifteen: Punished

The kiss started innocently enough, but quickly turned needy. Leaning into it, Sean welcomed Dark's desire for him. Up until Dark's hand lightly gripped his bandaged arm. Jerking back with a hiss, Sean moved his arm instinctively away from his touch. Dark's hand quickly dropped to Sean's wrist to keep him from backing away. The pain showed on Dark's face, when he mumbled out without meeting his eyes. "I'm sorry. I could have prevented this... if I had moved faster." Chuckling softly, Sean shrugged out. "You prevented my death. That means something." Dark's thumb ghostly over the blood seeping through the bandage now, his voice growing a bit darker as he retorted. "I should have gotten there before you fell off the bike... but I didn't." Releasing his wrist, Dark stated still without looking at him. "You should rest your arm. I'll have it rebandaged." Rolling his eyes, Sean stepped into Dark's way and coolly said over Dark's broad shoulder. "Damien. You saved my life. I can live with a few scars." Exhaling, Dark finally met his eyes with his big teddy bear ones. The worry and concern that Sean saw glazed over them made him reach out to touch Dark's cheek. Giving him a small smile, Sean whispered to him. "I'm ok. Really. I..."

Drifting off, Sean averted his eyes briefly and shrugged playfully as he finished. "I had fun. It was scary... but really Anti and Natemare did all the heavy lifting. Looking back on it now. It was fun." Dark's finger turned Sean's chin to prompt him to look at him. Once he was, Dark teased back in a deep purr that made Sean blush deeply. "Did you? I'm glad you're taking this so well. But I'm still going to redress your arm. Off to bed with ya." Sean rolled his eyes but turned on his heel to obey. Sliding into bed like a little kid, Sean tucked himself in and then flashed Dark a grin. Seeing Dark's powerful smile had been worth it. As Dark left, Sean closed his eyes. He had every intention to stay. Sitting up moments later though, Sean tossed off the covers to leave the room. It was starting to nag him now. He wanted to see Anti. Needed to see him. Peeking out of the room, Sean made sure the hall was clear and then dashed quietly off to find him. Sean opened many room doors, before coming across a room with an open door, where imps were rushing in and out with tools and bloodstained wrappings. When they saw him, they bowed but said nothing as they rushed off. They weren't even concerned that he was out and about.

As the last imp left the room, Sean slipped in and quietly closed the door. The room was massive, but the only details Sean took in about it was the large four poster bed with black sheets. Little trays were set up along the sides of the bed, where large car batteries were hooked up to wires that trailed over the bed to Anti. Anti looked like an asylum patient with all the wires hooked up to little sticky circles that had been applied to his temples, chest, and arms. The soft humming of something running made Sean feel uneasy. Was Anti really ok? Inching closer, Sean wrapped an arm around the bedpost as he leaned against it for support. Anti was bandaged up in similar places and within his mouth was a bar gag. The gag surprised him, until he heard something power on and Anti's body jerked for a few seconds. Then as quickly as it started, the machine powered down to the soft humming, allowing Anti's body to relax. Pressing his head against the post, Sean casually spoke to him. "Anti? If you can hear me... can you open your eyes?" Anti didn't move. Carefully moving closer, Sean sat down on the edge of the bed and stared down at Anti's bandaged hand. Every part of him told him not to... but he couldn't help reaching out to gently hold his hand.

Sean could faintly feel the muscles spasming with electricity but didn't let go of him. He felt strangely calm around him. He felt bad for him and wished that he could understand Anti better. Was he feeling lonely? Was that why he sought out others like him? Did being alone scare him as much as it did for himself? Anti's body spasmed again from the intensity of the electricity. Only this time when it stopped, Sean tensed as a soft feminine voice coolly breathed out. "So, you found him after all." Shifting on the bed, Sean followed the voice to the far corner of the dark room. He could barely make out the form of someone sitting in a comfortable chair. One of her legs was crossed over the other, allowing her knee high shiny black leather lace up heeled boot to catch the faint light in the room. Otherwise, she was practically invisible. Slowly rising off the bed, Sean told the person cautiously in a polite tone. "I don't know who you are, but you shouldn't be here. If Darkiplier finds you here-" The woman cut him off with the sharp snap of her fingers. Behind her chair a lamp flicked on in a strange way, bathing her in the soft ghostly glow of the cold mist that leaked from the lamp.

She was the most beautiful woman that Sean had ever seen. Her features were flawless, and her skin looked soft which highlighted her fierce feminine features. Her very long shiny violent hair was brushed over to hang down one shoulder. Her skin was so pale that she was as literally as white as fresh snow. Her black nails of one hand stroked the black leather of the armchair, while her searing solid bloodred red eyes bore into him with amusement. Lowering her other hand down to trace a long black nail across her black lips, she asked him curiously. "You don't remember me. Do you?" Sean shrugged, discreetly moving toward the door. The woman's eyes looked at the door and Sean jumped a little as he heard it lock itself. Flashing him an evil smirk when her eyes met his, she calmly told him. "Damien can't save you from me, darling. Since I finally have you alone. Let me introduce myself." Uncrossing her long legs, she straightened up in the chair and informed him proudly. "I'm the demon queen. Their goddess of darkness and villainy. The mother of death. My name is Khaos. And I'm Damien's mother." Sean's jaw dropped. He had never seen her like this. The last time that he saw Khaos, she was nothing but a shadow in the form of a woman.

Swallowing, Sean nervously asked her. "Why are you here?" Khaos's lip curled with slight disgust, revealing she had vampiric fangs and perfect sparkling white teeth. Staring him down, her tone turned a bit sour when she told him dryly. "You think I need a reason to be somewhere? I belong here. I created the nine rings of the underworld. There is no place I can't go here." Sean shifted on his feet, mumbling out anxiously. "I didn't mean it like that." Khaos dragged her long heel across the wooden floor as she extended one of her long legs out, before casually stating out. "I came to see my son. To check on him. Scold him like a... decent mother would." Sean tore his eyes from her to look at Anti, prompting her to almost purr out. "I was going to give Damien a tongue lashing too. But... I'm glad that I finally have you alone." A chill ran up Sean's back. Was she going to force him to merge with Anti? Wasn't that what the Dominion had argued about? His eyes darted back to meet hers, before he choked out. "What are you going to do with me?" She tilted her head back with a gin that showed off her fangs eerily. Tapping her heel softly on the floor, she lightly retorted. "What should I do with you? You. Who made Damien rebel against me. You. A human who threatens to unravel everything I have built by marrying him. You. Who doesn't bow to me. Nor speak to me with the respect I deserve for now smiting him here and now. You... who has quickly become a thorn in my side."

Sean lowered his eyes to the floor, shrugging out apologetic. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I'm still learning about Damien's world." Her voice came out casual but commanding when she ordered clearly. "Come here." Sean wanted to stay where he was but obeyed. Moving closer to her, he stood before her but didn't look her in the eyes. She tilted her head, then lifted her long leg to jab the heel against his shoulder. He groaned in pain, meeting her eyes. She propped her head up with a hand, glaring him down like she expected him to fight back. When he didn't, she dug her heel in harder and growled out in a voice that dared him to defy her. "Boy, you better bow down on your knees." Sean stiffly dropped to his knees to relieve the pain pulsing across his shoulder. Once he was on his knees, her heel eased up. Her foot pulled back a little; the toe of her sleek boot lifted his jaw to meet her eyes again before she ordered him a little playfully. "Can I get a 'yes, your majesty?" Sean swallowed hard, but nicely answered. "Yes. Your majesty." Smiling happily, she moved her foot to rest it over his shoulder and shrugged out in a calmer tone. "See? You're learning. Not so hard, is it. Now... What to do with you. I could take you away from him as punishment. I could make Anti whole and settle this fight my boys think is such an issue."

Sean snapped out of his meek demeanor to blurt out. "Please, don't do that! I know it is hard for you to believe, but I do love Damien. I know it is selfish, but I don't want to merge with Anti." She glared at him for his outburst, her fingers curling until her knuckles popped. Trying to calm her, he threw out at the last minute. "Your majesty." Her fingers uncurled and her body relaxed, before she coolly shrugged out with a huff. "A vessel that doesn't want to merge is like a tiger that doesn't like stripes. It is stupid to think you can avoid it." She lifted a hand off her lap to admire her long nails before adding seriously. "I guess, I should put that fight on the back burner until I get a chance to talk with Anti. The matter concerns him more than you. As for Damien..." Her red eyes glinted when she locked menacing eyes on him and darkly added. "You don't love him. You just like fucking him and being pampered by him." Sean narrowed his eyes at her, defiantly stating back. "You're wrong. That isn't why I love him." Leaning forward a bit, she retorted stubbornly. "Face it. He tortured you into loving him. I feel bad for you that you have diluted yourself into believing that he loves you." Sean leaned closer to her face, firmly shooting back. "It may have started that way... but that isn't how it is now. The Damien you know is a mask compared to the one I know."

Dropping her leg off his shoulder, Sean winced as she grabbed his throat and pulled him closer to hiss into his ear. "You think I will just let you weaken him? I have plans for Damien that don't include you in them. You are NOT worthy of him. And neither was Anti." Sean was stunned by her words as he gasped out. "What? What did you do to Anti?" Khaos eased back only inches from his face when she hissed out through her long vampire fangs. "Damien is a world ender. He is my sword to conquer the realms and snuff the light my sister loves so much. Everything was going great in his training, until Anti tainted him against his sister. Against ME! It has taken me years to get Damien back in my arms and if you think you will take him away again. You have another thing coming, boy." A soft snake like hiss left her throat, before she growled out with slightly more decorum. "And how dare you try to bring Thanatos into your little rebellion. I underestimated you before. I won't this time. You will do as you are told." Sean tried to keep his breathing steady, when he asked a little rattled. "How do you plan to do...?" Sean drifted off as whispered to himself instead. "The ring?" Khaos flashed him a smug grin, purring out now. "Give the human a prize. Did you think I wouldn't get Damien back for his outburst? I'm not known for being nice or forgiving."

Sean didn't know what to say, allowing Khaos to tell him seriously. "I'm ending the unrest in the Dominion. Anti is going to bond with Nicon. I've seen to it. Personally. Thank you for finding him for me. That makes this easier." Taking a sudden deep breath, Sean screamed out at the top of his lungs. "DARK!" Sean shivered from the icy cold mist, moments before Khaos yanked him closer and sunk her fangs into his neck. Turning his screaming of Dark's name into a sheer scream of pain. He could feel his vitality draining from him as she drank his blood enough to weaken him. When he was on the verge of passing out, she retracted her fangs from him and cradled him in her arms to keep him from falling. Sean whined, but his body was going numb, and he was so lightheaded that he couldn't think clearly. Khaos wiped the blood off his neck and licked her finger, before turning her eyes to the bed. Sean weakly followed her eyes to see that Anti was standing at the foot of his bed now, his body rippling with green sparks. The door to the bedroom was shaking like someone was banging on it, but he could only faintly hear it. Anti peeled the wires off his skin, starting toward them with a weary distant look. He wasn't fully recovered.

Fearlessly getting to her feet, she hefted Sean up into her arms like a baby and commanded Anti seriously. "Stop. The fight is over, Anti. I win. I have your vessel. Rest yourself. You'll be... married off soon yourself." Anti reluctantly stopped walking toward her, snarling out groggily. "Like hell it is! This isn't over!" Khaos huffed smugly, her large black wings folding around Sean as she told Anti dryly. "I'm afraid it is. As long as I have your vessel, you can't do shit to me. Now for once. Do as you are commanded." Anti fell weakly to his knees and the door burst open seconds after Sean felt a rush of cold air. It felt like he was being consumed in darkness as Khaos backed up into the shadows and left the room. Just as quickly as he slipped into darkness, he gasped as Khas stepped out into neon lights of what appeared to be a club. Neon lights lit up a dark purple stage with a bright neon white pole that a demon was dancing around to the lusty screams of girls in the dining room area. Sean strained to focus and blinked as he recognized the demon. Verine. He was so confused why Khaos would bring him here. Khaos casually carried Sean toward a door labeled for dancers and employees only.

With no other choice, Sean watched Verine on the stage and couldn't help being a little impressed with him. The guy wasn't the lord of lust for nothing. He could really move his hips. Khaos eased into the back room and Sean let his eyes close briefly. He needed to rest but was afraid too. Why had she brought him here of all places? To Be Continued...
