Hiccup's P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes. It's 8:00am. I get up and pull on my armor when I suddenely realize, It's been exactly 2 months. 2 months since Drago, 2 months since I found my mom, well...she found me, and 2 months since Drago took my Dad. It hurts but I'll be okay.  I slowly walk down to breakfast and see Astrid cooking in the kitchen. "Morning, M'lady'', I greet her as I give her a hug from behind. "Morning, Babe", she responds cheerfully. Hmmmmm.......? "Why are you so happy today?" I ask. "No reason", she replies with a smirk. OK...something's up I thought, but brushed it off. "I got to go help Gobber in the forge but I'll see you later", I say as I give her a quick peck on the cheek. "Alright Babe, Love You", she said as I walk out. "OK LOVE YOU TOO", I yell as Toothless takes off into the clear, blue skies.

Astrid's P.O.V

I'm a little disappointed that Hiccup didn't remember that our 5 year anniversary is the day after tomorrow but I don't let it show. He has been through a lot these last 2 months...finding his mother after 20 years, seeing his parents reunited, but losing his dad, the only parent he had ever known, right after. I know it's a lot on him so I reminded myself to mention it later and then go to the stables to feed Stormfly and go for a flight.

Later that evening

Hiccup's P.O.V

As I say goodnight to Gobber I remember that my 5 year anniversary with Astrid is the day after tomorrow. That's why she must have been so excited this morning. As I walk back to
my place in the cool night air, I see a Deadly Nadder fly over my head. Then, it hits me. I quickly dart into my workshop in the forge and scribble down an idea and little sketch to go with it.  As I once again head out into the night I think about Astrid and hope she will like her anniversary gift.
