It's been three weeks since we started trying for a baby. All of the tests come back negative. I'm starting to lose hope. What if that bomb that exploded on me during the selection really messed me up? I can't imagine what we will do if we can't have children. I guess we can adopt, I've never been against that thought. What will Tobias do? Will he be upset? Surely he wouldn't leave me, right? Right now I'm sitting on the couch in our room holding yet another negative pregnancy test. Tobias is in the home gym. He doesn't know about this test. I'm almost scared to tell him, what will he think of me?
" Hey baby." I hear as Tobias walks in.
" Hi." I say almost in a whisper.
" What's wrong?" He asks me.
" It's just all of these failed pregnancy tests are starting to make me think that I'll never be able to give you the children you and I want. I'm so sorry. What if something's wrong with me and it's all my fault?" I say breaking in to tears.
" Shh baby. You don't know that it's your fault. Maybe it just takes longer for us than others. Don't worry about it babe." He says taking me into his sweaty arms.
" You need a shower mister." I say getting out of his grasp and dropping the previous subject.
"But-" he tries.
" No buts, now go." I tell him pointing towards the bathroom.
He gets up and walks towards the bathroom. Minutes later I hear the water running. Is he really okay with this whole pregnancy thing? I really need to do something to get my mind off things. I know! I'll invite everyone over. While we were on our honeymoon Christina and Will got together, Zeke and Shauna got engaged, and Uriah and Marlene are the same.
I call Chris first, and she says yes. Shauna and Marlene said yes too. I then go downstairs to the kitchen and start making snacks. A few minutes later a pair of arms wraps around my waist. I turn around to see Tobias.
" Hi baby. I invited everyone over is that okay? " I ask him.
" Of course baby." He says kissing me while reaching for a snack.
I catch him and slap his hand away. Minutes later there is a knock on the door. We hear the butler answer and soon the halls are filled with the loud yelling and laughter of our friends.
" Toby! Trissy!" Zeke yells.
" Zekey!" Tobias yells back.
" Don't call me that Zeke." I dead-pan.
" Tris!" Christina, Marlene, and Shauna scream.
" Chrissy, Marlene, Shauna!" I yell back.
" Oh and we're just piles of trash over here." Uriah says gesturing to Will and himself.
" Hey guys!" Tobias says.
" Oh! Food!" Zeke says walking towards the counter.
" You can get some if you help me carry this into the living room." I tell him shielding the food.
" Okay fine." He says grabbing a bowl of trail mix.
Tobias then grabs a plate and I grab the tray of drinks. We all walk into the living room. Chris, Will, Uriah, and Marlene sit on the big couch. Tobias and I sit on the love seat to their right, Zeke and Shauna sit on the love seat to the left across from us. The food goes on to the coffee table.
We talk for a few hours and end up eating dinner together before everyone leaves.
" Babe, I know that all of the times we have tried it didn't work but can we try one more time before we stop and take a break? Please just this one more time and then we can go see the doctor or just take a break. I just don't want to give up so quickly." He pleads.
" Ok fine just this last time. Then let's just take a break." I say.
" Well, come on then my beautiful wife." He says.
I laugh as he picks me and carries me to our room.

I'm so sorry that this isn't a really cute, or funny chapter, I really just wanted to have some conflict.
