"HOW CAN YOU JUST DIVORCE HIM MAHA.?! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND.?" Dad yelled at me making me flinch. I had send the divorce paper at his place yesterday after signing and to my utter shock he signed the papers and send it to my parents house.

"Dad why don't you understand he is married now I can't just.."

"Exactly.! HE. IS. MARRIED. NOW. This is why I never wanted him to get married. But YOU." he looked so disappointed.

"Dad..." I went towards him and wrapped my hands around his waist. He was shaking with fury.

"I...just...Maha, Richard is after you I don't want any harm..." I cut him off unintentionally and regretted as soon as the words left my mouth.

"Richard is not after me. I am after him."

Dad pulled away from me and looked at me bewildered "What did you just say.?" he held my shoulder firmly.

"Dad...I...uh.."

"Maha, George come down lunch is ready." I thanked the God millionth time today as I rushed down the stairs. Dad hot on heels.

"Mumma, granny had made my favourite italian food." Mahira grinned at me. While Danyal pouted he was more of a indian cuisine guy.

"But I won't eat italina." tears brimmed in his sparkling eyes.

"What happened to my little avenger.?" his eyes lit up when he saw the boys.

They all greeted us and took their respective seats.

"His granny made italian food." Dad explained shaking his head.

"Oh...so our avenger want Indian food. Let me think." Drake tabbed his index finger on his chin in the manner of thinking.

"Idea..." Danyal eyes lit up as he stared at Drake excited.

"But you have to make a little sacrifice for now."

Danyal frowned at him but nodded anyway.

"We all will eat at some Indian restaurant at night and the treat will be from me. I promise. But for now you have to eat italian food." his eyes lit up as he crossed the table and jumped on Drake making all of us laugh.

Austin and William fed him cracking some jokes here and there. I felt my eyes getting moist but I have to hold back my tears. Maybe this is the last time I am having lunch with them.

Soon the lunch was over and I was waiting for my friends to arrive. Everyone was in the backyard playing with kids. Dad has insisted that I should take some of his bodyguards with me but I declined. I need to be free.

I had decided to crash at my place with them. They will pick me up from my parents place.

"Hey gorgeous are you waiting for me.?" John flirted with me. But it was harmless.

"Yes who can say no to this handsome guy." I batted my eyelashes as I approached him. He was standing on the door frame. Looping my arm into his we made our way out towards the car.

"Wow am I dreaming or something.? Pinch me please." John looked gobsmacked with my behaviour.

"Gladly." I pinched him hard on his arm making him jump away from me and yelp in pain.

Everyone laughed at our antics. "Why so hard woman.!" he complained massaging the area I had pinched.

"You asked for it." I said and jumped into the car beside Nikki.

"Where to.?" Liam asked from the rearview mirror.

"Just get on the road I will guide you the way." this is the first time they are visiting my house. The house which David bought for us.

With some left right and going straight we finally reached at my place.

"Wow this house is so beautiful." Stella said in awe as everyone agreed.

"Lets go in." Dad had already hired some guards and maids for my help. He is so possessive about me. My biological dad sold me but he took me in and loved me like his own.

"I am in love with your house girly.!" Jessy exclaimed as they all roamed around the living area inspecting every inch of my house.

"Juice or coffee.?"

"Juice will do." everyone was busy in exploring my house. I just rolled my eyes at them and went into the kitchen. I poured the orange juice and Kiwi soda in the glasses I knew boys will love kiwi soda while girls will prefer orange juice. I asked our maid to help me with the glasses.

When I went back they all were sprawled around the couch infront of the television.

While Nick was standing with all the DVD in his hands.

Placing the tray full of glasses on the table I situated myself between Jessy and Jordan. I don't want to sit between the couples. I just feel awkward.

"Which movie.?" and thats how we ended screaming and arguing. Even the guards came twice to check if something went wrong but I assured them that everything was fine.

Settling with fault in our stars. Because Jessy was in a pissed off mood and she wanted to see Ansel Elgort. Perks of being on periods.

There was a knock on the door.

"I guess the pizza had arrived. I will just take that." I went to open the door and indeed it was the pizza man. After paying him for five large size double cheese chicken pizza. I went back in and we all started to enjoy the movie while munching on pizza.

My cell rang and I excused myself even though no one was paying attention I went into the guest room located just beside the stairs.

"Mrs. Beckham."

"Any news.?"

"Yes, Richard is staying in his mansion, three hours ride from your house."

"Are you sure.?"

"Yes Mrs. Beckham."

"What about the stuff I asked you to steal from the FBI mansion.?"

"Everything is done as planned."

"Okay than meet me tomorrow at 6 a.m. in the coffee shop down the block from my parents house." with that I hung up. Taking a huge gulp of breath I wiped the sweat trickled on my forehead. I was waiting for this moment and now when its time. I can't back out. I have to do this.

"Maha, are you okay in there.?" I wiped my face once again and opened the door revealing a scowling Liam and Nick.

"Hi.?" I smiled at them nervously.

"What is going on.? You are hiding something from us.!" Liam grabbed my hand and pulled me out into the living area. Movie was paused and everyone was staring at me.

"Actually...I am." they all raised their eyebrow at me provoking me to spill the beans.

"I...actually I got divorced." I was not even lying.

"WHAT..!?" Okay I was expecting that.

"Why.?"

"What happened.?"

"What the hell he did.?"

"He asked for the divorce.?"

"When did you divorced him.?" all the different types of questions were thrown at me.

"Guys one at a time please.!" I said rather annoyed.

Thats how I ended up explaining them everything. They all were furious but happy that I was free from that loveless marriage.

It was the time for us to leave. I had to go out for dinner with my family. I had asked Drake to invite Troy and Miley. She is still angry with me and I have to make sure everyone is fine with me.

Hugging my friends as tight as I can I let them go. They were worried about me but I assured them I was fine and it was just my periods and everything. But I doubt they were convinced.

Only if they knew what I am planning to do.

Sitting in the restaurant I awkwardly watched my bestfriend glaring at the poor food.

"Miley why are you not eating.? If you want to order something else you can."

"Shut it Drake.! I love Indian food. I don't like particular someone staring at me from across the table." she snapped.

"Come on LeyLey I said I am sorry."

"I had already told you she is a bitch. But you thought she is an innocent angel.!" her eyes were in a slit glaring right at me.

"I know I am sorry, I was mistaken. Please forgive me LeyLey." I stood up and walked towards her wrapping my hands around her shoulder I hugged her from back.

"Please forgive me." I mumbled kissing on her cheeks.

"Auntie forgive my mumma plewease." Danyal said and Mahira joined him.

Soon all of them were chanting 'Forgive her'.

"Okay okay but I won't forgive you next time." she stood up and hugged me properly.

"There will be no next time, I promise." I muttered silently

"Maha go to sleep now. You look tired." mom said caressing my hairs. I was laying down on her bed with my head placed in her lap.

"Just 10 minutes more mum." dad chuckled at that and came to sit beside us on the bed.

"You are saying that from last half hour little girl." he squeezed my hand.

"Mom, Dad are you guys trying to kick me out of your room.?" I sat up and narrowed my eyes at them. Dad laughed out loud and pulled me between him and mum.

"You can sleep here if you want. I don't have any objection but you need sleep little girl. That's all we are concerned about."

"No, I will be get going. I need to check on my kids." I stood up and wore my flip flops.

"Good night mom dad. I love you both." I kissed my dad on his forehead doing the same with my mum I left the room with last glance on my parents who had the proud smile on their faces.

I went up to see Danyal and Mahira. And to my surprise they were laying on their beds wide awake.

"Mahira, Danyal you are awake.?" I entered into there room. They share the room whenever we are staying at my parents house.

"We can't sleep." was their answer.

"Do you guys want to join me in bed.?" both of them jerked up from their beds and followed me out to my room.

I turned the heater on they were already on the bed. I was thankful that I had a king size bed. So the space will not be the issue.

"Mahira Danyal I need to talk to both of you." they sat up straight and looked at me with their big eyes.

I removed my necklace and tied it around Mahira neck.

"Mumma this was your favourite necklace." her eyes widened.

"Promise me you will wear this for the rest of your life. And whatever I am going to tell you will be a secret between three of us. Promise.?" I was waiting for their response.

"Promise." they said in unison with a confused look on their faces.

"Mumma is going to meet your dad."

"That means you will leave us like dad.?" tears threatened to leave their eyes. I felt my heart break for lying.

"No, your dad never left us. He is with us, watching us. I will do the same. I will watch over both of you with dad."

"Mumma can we come with you.? We want to meet dad." Danyal asked with hopeful look on his face. And he didn't even made a mistake in his sentence.

"No..I mean not now. But just remember mumma loves you both no matter what." I caressed their cheeks and pulled them into a hug. Tears sprung down my face. I wiped them hurriedly.

"Lets go to sleep."

I joined them in the bed laying in the middle with Mahira and Danyal either side of me. I wrapped my hands around them feeling content. I pulled them closer to me and placed a chaste kiss on their forehead. Both had already fell asleep. But for me the sleep was far fetched.

So I spend my night gazing at my kids.
