The relatives already left and it was evening. The whole family was sitting in front of television and enjoying themselves.

I hate this boring serial...

I rested my hand on my face and continued watching the fight between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law when my eyes travelled to my mother-in-law as she looked away.

"Mom, where's my phone?" Disha shouted as she came out of her room.

"How can I know?" Mrs Chauhan replied "Search your room properly "

"I seached" she said

"Why don't we make a call on her phone from ours?" I suggested as she passed me a glare but nodded.

I called her as the phone started ringing. She put her arm inside her pocket and took it out.

"Oh its here only" she said looking at the phone as I cut the call.

"See, how careless can you be!" Mrs Chauhan shook her head.

"Ok bye!" She said and went to her room again.

*pout* She didn't even thanked me!

After the serial, I went to the kitchen along with Shakshi and Radhika for cooking the dinner.

"What we are gonna make today?" I asked.

"What about Undhiya?" Radhika suggested as we nodded .

I started chopping the vegetables as Shakshi put on the frying pan on the stove and pour oil in it. Radhika was making rotis and after pouring oil, Shakshi washed the red lentils and mixed the spices with the vegetables I chopped.

"Hello, dear wife" The sudden voice stunned me for a moment as I felt a pair of arms around my waist.

"A-Anant ji, what are you doing? The elders are here" I whisper shouted.

"Eh? Do Shakshi and Radhika look elders to you?" He made a ugly face as I laughed.

"Then also...what are d-doin-" his fingers travelled to my neck as I moved away "Don't divert my mind now!"

"Aw, you are such a mood spoiler" he pouted as I raised my eyebrow.

"Ahem! We are still here, lovely couple!" We heard Shakshi and Radhika coughing

"Stop your fake coughing, drama queens" Anant said to them "Come on, now I can't show some love to my wife also?"

"Who are we to stop you guys?" Radhika asked.

"You guys are allowed to do anything but we must alert you that you are not in your room" Shakshi completed for her.

"Yea yea...so" he turned towards me "Shall we go in our room?"

"Of course NOT! I'm busy now!" I said, as my cheeks heated up.

"Oh, so can we continue when you'll be free?" He grinned as they laughed.

"No! Go out now!" I yelled.

"I don't feel like going " he came and back hugged me as I continued chopping the vegetables

"Don't you have any work?" I asked

"Yes, that's what I'm doing "

"I DIDN'T MEAN THAT! I am saying your office work " I rolled my eyes.

"Nah! I'll do later!" He said, like a child ignoring to do maths homework.

Hey! I love maths!

"Kitchen romance is not that safe, couples" Again they spoke in the background.

"Don't tell us if you fall in trouble " Radhika said.

"Can you guys stop disturbing us or I'll call brother?" Anant said as they threw a two spoons on his head.

"You are talking too much nowadays " they rolled their eyes and went out of the kitchen to bring more vegetables from the storage.

I thought that Anant ji is a very shy and straightforward person but...
I never knew that he can be flirty too.

"Bloody flirty devil!"

"I can be flirty but only with you" He smiled.

*gulps* "Did I said that loud?" I nervously smiled.

"Yup you did " he replied.

Whatever! It's hard to say that he is from a traditional, strict family. I wonder from where he inherited this special personality.

"So, I didn't knew that you can be romantic too" I blurted out and then mentally slapped myself for speaking rubbish.

"Being a simple and obedient person is seriously boring and my father is as romantic as I am, in case he don't show it in front of everyone " he smiled as I was left dumbstruck .

"Wow, dad is also like this. Aww, so romantic!" I chirped.

"Yea...but my elder brother is bit strict like mom but he is bit too honest also" he said .

"I see..."

Is he praising himself because he is too romantic? Eh...*blushes* Seriously?!

"So, no one is here let's dance" he said and started spinning my round.

"A-Anant ji...s-stop" I laughed as he lifted me up and moved round.

We started enjoying ourselves when our sight fell on a creature standing in front of us.

"M-mom?" Anant ji said and put me down.

"What are you guys doing here?" She said with her arms around her hips. Radhika and Shakshi hurriedly came into with some vegetables and was taken aback to see Mrs Chauhan.

"A-Actually mom-" I was about to say but she cut me off.

"Is the food ready?"

"Almost. It will be ready in the next hour " I replied.

"Fine, do it quickly and food should be served at 9:30 sharp " she said and went out. We all sighed in relief as I looked angrily at Anant as he nervously laughed.

"Sorry" I said, holding his ears.

"How could you-"

"I remembered that I've some work! Bye!" He said and rushed outside.

Radhika and Shakshi laughed as they came inside. I also joined the laughter and continued cooking. Around 9, everything was ready and we arranged everything on the table.

Everyone came outside and sat in the table.

"Ashu! Don't run and come here!" Radhika said to her son and made him sit on the chair beside elder brother.

"Momma, you know today Ashu broke my pencil!" Avni, Shakshi's daughter complained to her mother.

"Ashu,why you broke her pencil?" Radhika asked her son, angrily.

"Because she threw my eraser out of the window " He replied, simply and it's now Shakshi's turn to scold her daughter.

"Avni-"

"Uff mom- you shouldn't talk while eating " Avni said and started eating. We all laughed at it as I served the food.

Disha just rolled her eyes and started playing with the veggies.

"Don't you know that I don't like carrots?" She shouted at me "You should have made another one for me without carrots!"

"If you don't like carrots then why don't you eat the potatoes and beans?" I asked.

"You really talk too much " she glared and put the bean in her mouth. She slowly chewed it and then threw it up.

"So disgusting!" She shouted and threw the bowl of undhiya on the floor making everyone shock.
