Win's POV
My father asked me to come to his meeting today and he sounded so sad over the phone. It's been several months since my father and I lost spoken. I would say  around the time when me and Bright eloped and got legally married.

He's offered me to dinner many times but I rejected him over and over again.

So, I have Mrs. London fixing my tie and doing my hair for me because she is the only maid I trust the most. I've known her for years.

"I heard what Mrs. Chivaaree is planning for your wedding. I heard almost 400 guest have already confirmed to come." Mrs. London mentioned to me.

I sighed heavily.

"A Wedding is not that serious. Also I'm not surprised." I admit to her.

"Win, you are part of one of the richest people in Thailand. Nothing is never not too serious for Mrs. Chivaaree." She reminds me.

"So, what's for dinner for me and Bright tonight?" I asked changing the subject.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you but Bright is going to be eating dinner at restaurant this evening." Mrs. London now mentions.

I turned my head and looked at her.

"What for and with who?" I made sure to ask her.

"He said it's a business dinner and it's with Ms. Tontawn again." She admits to me.

I rolled my eyes again and walked out of the room with a half fixed tie.

"Please Win, don't be upset." Mrs. London follows me.

"Upset? That's not even the word I would use right now. I'm very tired." I told her.

"Do you want to stay here and rest? You don't have to go to your fathers meeting." She asked me.

"No, No I'm going. I'm just tired of little Miss Queen of Thailand." I complain.

Before I can complain any further about her, a knock disturbed me and I sighed heavily and opened it. I saw it was my mother with a smile on her face.

"M-Mom? What are you doing here?" I asked her.

"Your father is waiting for you in the limo. I just wanted to come in and say Hi to Bright and get you." She admitted.

"He's in a morning meeting right now." I told her.

"Oh, how disappointing. Well I guess another time. Oh honey, your tie is not properly fixed. Let me help." My mother said as she helped fixed my tie. "Your father and I really miss you Son and we would like to talk to you more." She whispered in my ear and told me.

My father's company has changed since I last attended a meeting. His workers and staff have expanded and the prices gone up. My dad has been doing so well so far so why does he need me?

I attend the meeting room and sat in the empty seat next to my father. I'm uncomfortable and because I've been so absent, I don't know what's really going on. I tried to follow along with the future investor is trying to say and the ideas sound good but I looked in my fathers eyes and he doesn't seem impressed.

"Thank you Mr. Tawan but I'm going to have to disagree with all of your plans. I don't think we should make drastic changes into my hotel.

"Are you sure sir?" Mr. Taiwan asked my dad.

"I am the most absolute sure." He said and my father walked out of meeting room.

I'm so confused and what just happened. I stood up and followed my dad to his office.

"Dad, what the hell was that? That idea was perfect from Mr. Tawan. Why did you reject it?" I questioned him.

My dad grunted and sighed as he sat down in his big chair.

"Son, one day you will understand business." Is all he says.

"I still don't get it. Mr. Tawan could have been a future investor into her hotel company. He has one of the highest shares in Bangkok." I reminded him.

"But Son we already have the highest share and that's your husband Bright. Why sidle for second best when we can have the best?" He questioned me.

"Dad your not getting it. We can't just depend on Bright's money alone. We have to have back up just in case." I reminded him but my dad just chuckles and disagrees.

"Nothing will happen. As long as you and Bright are happily married, money won't be an issue." He said and I see there is no use of arguing with him. He is too blinded by the money that he can't see what the issue is and the future we could have for Metawin Operations.

I shook my head in disappointment and left my father's office and head out to the limo. There was no use of me being here today. As soon as I walked out of my dad's hotel, I saw a bunch of tall security that I was not familiar with. Another large Limo was behind my own.

The guards moved aside and I was able to see who it was they were guarding and it was none other then the queen of Thailand herself.

"Good Morning Mr.Win, what a rather......small hotel you have." She said to me.

Small? This very hotel is was made me and my parents rich. My dad worked so hard to have this built.

"Excuse me Ms. Tontawn, I have...other matter to attend to." I exited the conversation to go inside the hotel.

"No wait! I wanted to invite you as the son of Metawin Operations to my business dinner. I'm sure Bright has told you but I also told him to tell you to come." She said and I give her a confused looked.

Bright never told me that I was invited to the dinner. He said it was just him.

"Win, is everything alright?" Tu asked me.

I shake my head.

"I'm fine and I had no idea of your invitation." I admitted to her.

"Oh, I'm sure Bright was gonna mentioned it to you. You know since you are...his husband after all." She said sounding all innocent and conniving like.

"Well I had a meeting today with my father and he's been so busy all morning so he would eventually tell me once I get home." I said to her and I turn around and made my departure.

I really don't like that girl but I am even more mad that Bright lied and told me I wasn't needed at the dinner even though I was clearly invited. What is it he's hiding and why doesn't he want me to come?

It's super embarrassing having to hear it from that....bitch!

I stormed out of the Limo and into the house. I saw Mrs. London dusting the furniture.

"Where is he? Is Bright here?" I asked her.

"He just got back. He's in his office now but he said he doesn't want to be disturbed." Mrs. London mentioned.

"I don't give a damn." I muttered and practically marched into his office. Without even knocking.

Bright looked up, not even surprised on why I am in his little office. He had his glasses on and he took it off.

"What brings you here Win? I'm kind of busy." He tell me and I walked up and shut his computer down. Bright's hands when up in confusion.

"You liar, why didn't you tell me that Tu invited me to the business dinner?" I questioned him.

"I told you, you are not needed. Whatever was important, I would have told you." He said and I just ball up my fist and pace around the office a little.

"You're obviously hiding something." I said.

"Now why would you think that, Huh?" He asked me.

"Because she's your ex and you told me you were supposed to marry her. I don't think you two are done with each other." I admitted and Bright stood up and walked towards me.

"I told you I never loved her and it was just a arranged marriage but it was all over when Tu moved away and the wedding and marriage was canceled. I have no other relationship with her than just business." Bright explained.

"Bullshit, don't think you can fool me again. Five years
ago you lied to me on our anniversary together and dumped me in front of an entire restaurant. I will never forget that awful humiliation. And it's so damn funny how when get together again and get married and she suddenly shows up again." I reminded him.

"Please don't think like that. I love you Win and I always have." Bright said as he placed his hand onto my shoulder but I brushed it away.

"The same old Bright hasn't changed. You're still the player and lair you use to be." I said lastly as I walked out of his office and slam the door hard.
