Bright's POV
"Tu what the hell! Why would you say that?" I questioned her while we are inside of an office.

"Said what?" She asked, acting like she didn't say anything wrong.

"About Win coming to the wedding and being my best man." I told her. I watch a smirk appear on her face.

"Why wouldn't Win be there? You told me yourself that your divorce with Win was mutual and it was a decision between you in him." She remind me.

"I did but I don't think it's a good idea to invite Win. Besides he won't come anyways." I told her.

"If Win doesn't come, that's his choice but it will give the world the idea that you lied and you guys did have a rough marriage." She said as I rolled my eyes.

"Why are you doing this? Why do you choose to torment Win like this. Let it go Tu. Please I'm begging." I beg and now Tu looks at me angry like.

"That's the issue. No matter what, you still care about him. You once told me that he is your everything and you wouldn't marry me and now that you guys are done, I'm still not convinced that you are over him!" She sort of yells at me as I sigh of annoyance.

"I've done everything that you asked. Just please leave Win out of this." I still beg her. Tu wraps her arm around my neck as she pulls me towards her.

"No. I'm going to make you both suffer just like you did me." She whispered in my ear. She let go of my neck and walked out, slamming the office door behind her.

I sat down furiously as I struggled to untie my tie off my neck. I took out my phone as I read a message from Tay.

Tay- I'm behind the building.

I stood up and walked out of the office. I saw a black SUV and I hop inside it and saw Tay with two files.

"Here are the files that you wanted." Tay pass it to me. I looked at them carefully as I read every detail.

"What's the other one about?" I asked Tay.

"The other is Win's background and Zee is a long time friend of Win's family. He is known mostly in the U.S and China but he has some cooperations in Thailand as well." He informs me.

"How come I never heard of him? I have big companies in The U.S as well." I questioned Tay.

"He's a private investor and wants to be ghosted and that's precisely the reason why I can't find his net worth or how much money he really makes but Win knows him and they obviously have a history together." Tay explained and I understand.

I stopped looking into his files as I gave it back to Tay. I can tell he went through trouble to get those files.

"Anything about Tu? I don't have really any evidence to get myself out of this marriage." I asked him and Tay sighs.

"Unfortunately I don't have anything. I really want to help you Bright and I'm trying but these people are really good at covering their tracks." Tay tells me and I'm really disappointed.

I know I was going against tough people but it's getting ridiculous that these people have nothing that I can use against. How am I gonna get myself out of this? Do I really have to walk down the isle with Tu next month?

"Hey, I'm never giving up. I will find something and then you can get Win back." Yay placed his hand on my shoulder and I nodded.

"Thanks." I said as I hop out of his car. I'd made sure she drove off without anyone noticing.

I arrived home and I saw both my parents sitting on the couch in the living room together. My mother looking sad and depressed and my father looking angry and pissed.

"Mom....Dad." I called out their names.

"This is the news that I received when I finally come back from my business trip." My dad slams the news paper on the table hard.

"Bright just tells us what is really going on? What happened to Win and why are you marrying Tu?" My mom asked me and she sounds a bit more calm.

"It's....hard to explain but I promise I will fix it." I said to them as I try to walk away.

"Oh no, you're not leaving like this. We deserve an answer! I got a call from Mr. Tontawn that wedding between you and Tu are back on and that you and Win got a divorce. How did this happen?" My father questioned me but I just can't explain it.

"Win divorced me so now I'm marrying Tu. That's all I can say." I said to them as I leave the living room quickly as possible.

I hear my father yelling and demanding me to come back but I ignore. I don't want to talk about any of it and I just want them to trust me because I know I can figure it out to make things right.

I just need some time.

This entire situation has gone insane and I don't know how to stop it. I miss Win and I miss him more than ever. I just wish I didn't act a fool and try to hide what happened that night.

I wish I read between the lines and not to trust Tu, especially about a surprised meeting that happened randomly. I should have cancel and went on a date with Win and I would still be a happy man and still married to Win.

It hurts like hell and I'm losing my mind.

I went into the kitchen grabbed one of the most hard hitting alcohols that I had and started to drink. Trying to drink all my pain away. I sneaked and left the house so none of the guards can find me. I just want to get away from everything.

A taxi came and I wave and hoped inside.

"Where too sir?" He asked me and the only place that crossed my mind was Win's

"Opas-iamkajorn residence." I said and he started to drive.

Win's POV
I heard a loud knock on my door and I was very confused. I didn't expect visitors and I just left Zee's place so it couldn't be him.

It sad that I don't have the maids around since they haven't been at the house since my dad's been injured. I walked up the door and opened it and I couldn't believe my eyes.

It was Bright and he looked at me with sad eyes.

"B-Bright?" I said in disbelief.

"Take me back Win." He said as he surprisingly pulled me in for a hug. Catching me off guard.

"Bright let go." I struggled.

"Please take me back. I promise to be a better husband." He said and I couldn't break out of his grip because it felt like the more I tried the tighter it got.

"You're being ridiculous. Let go of me." I tried to tell him.

"I don't care about anything you said. You can use me for anything. You can use me for sex." Bright said as he pulled my face closer to his as he forced his lips on me and kissed my crock of my neck.

I was finally able to push him off.

"I'm no longer yours so you don't have to do that." I admit to him.

Bright grabbed my hand as he showed me again the sadness and agony in his eyes.

He's hurting and I can smell the alcohol that you drowned himself with before he got here.

"Please Win." Bright begged.

"You're getting married next month. I no longer need you now get out of my house." I told him and Bright couldn't believe it. "Go!" I shouted and Bright slowly released my hand.

It's like what I told him brought him back into reality.

"I'm.....sorry." Bright said he turned around and left my house. I closed the door behind him and made sure it was locked.

My head leaned against the door as I couldn't believe Bright actually come to my house begging me back. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't. Not yet.

He just needs to wait a little longer.
