Both were trying not to fall weak in making the first step, but both were tensed about the other one.

To call isn't allowed, but texting? I mean she texted first I couldn't reply to her that moment cause she switched off her phone, but now after a month I think I can make an excuse message. But how and what to write?

He was holding the phone in his hands trying to write a text, but nothing was coming into his mind. Why is it so difficult to write my own wife a short message? Gosh why I can't type anything?

The door to his cabin opens, he looked up and his assistant was standing there, "yes Priya, what happened?" He placed the mobile phone on the desk, unlocked.

"Sir," she comes closer, all workers were tensed about the fusion, but she had more stress, "your file," she placed it on the desk right above the phone, not much pressure, but enough to let it ring somewhere.

"I know you are exhausted Priya and I'm thinking of hiring another PA for your help. You will be the senior PA and the other one your substitute, after all soon you're getting married and I think honeymoon is on me."

Laksh took out an envelope, "here for your awesome work and support through the whole fusion thing, while I was absent on my own honeymoon you hold this all together, it's a small thing for your big help."

Priya was shocked, but also happy, "thank you Sir, but I can't take this gift."

"You have to I insist on it. If you won't then I won't let you go for honeymoon. No holiday only work, do you want this?"

She shook her head, "thanks, and yes I think the substitute won't be a bad idea. I can give her or him all the necessary information to handle it in my absent."

"Exactly that's what I was thinking. Anything else?"

Priya shook her head, "no Sir," she left the cabin with the envelope.

Laksh took the file and saw his mobile phone, "shit!"

Wait I will just disconnect it! One click and the call was ended and Ragini fumed.

How dare he being so sweet to another woman and even hiring another PA, it would be good for your health that the new PA is a male clerk and not female.

Laksh took a deep breath, "I didn't called her, oh Priya I guess when she put the file on the desk her finger might have touched the screen, was it unlocked?" He shrugs and continued with his work not thinking of Ragini.

Ragini on the other hand was only thinking about him and the new PA. I will kill him! He is such an ass, how can he even think of hiring a new PA, there isn't much work I have been following his work through my friend, who is working in his company.

She was walking to and fro having the mobile phone in her hand she called her friend.

"Yes ma'am?"

"Oh Priya please don't call me ma'am, how is the work and be honest to me, and dare you tell him that I enquired you about it!"

"Sorry Ma'am, but calling you by your name will be more suspicious."

Ragini huffs, "fine, call me Di," she was smiling evilly. Now find an excuse...

Priya was hesitating, "Di," it felt so strange, but she always had a good relationship with Laksh and before Ragini left she had visited the company to check on the work. Then she met Priya and instantly got friended with her.

"It's sluggish, but with the 2nd PA it might be better or at least a bit faster."

"Okay, but you will select one?"

"No Di, therefore we have the Human Resources department, they select accordingly to the requirements. You don't worry I will keep an eye, but he is very loyal. Laksh was staring on his phone, but nothing, "stupid! Why isn't she calling or messaging me, isn't she angry I'm hiring another PA, fine I will make sure this PA will gain your attention!" He called the HR department and gave out the needed information about the new post, "find one as soon as possible."

Ragini I will make you jealous!

Ragini was laying on the bed, she bite on her tongue, "ugh Laksh stop talking bad about me!"

*hatshi!* Laksh sneezed, "damn Ragini stop talking about me."

*Hiccup!*

"Stop thinking about me..." both said simultaneously.
