Armaan's POV:

DK stood up from his chair and announced to the members of the board meeting, "Gentlemen, I'm amazed to tell you all that Pearls Entertainment now has the Prince of Dubai as our biggest investor. Yusuf Sheikh and I have a companionable relationship as he believes in my ideas regarding the company's future. We'll discuss the upgrade plan shortly after the month ends." I yawned listening to him bragging about the big achievement this company ever got in history.

Since Yusuf invaded the market, it has been a complete rollercoaster for the entire industry. But we are on the good side so it doesn't matter though for not too long. As I got to know from some insider news that Ishita is willing to step up on the international market promoting green energy by purchasing other companies working on the same idea. She's going to be a global market investor in the green energy field which is a great business plan regarding future capital as everyone wants to switch to something eco-friendly. In addition to being a major economical deal for Indian markets, it would also screw Yusuf on the international front since he was pursuing the same goal.

"Well, I would surely like to mention the person who does have helped me a lot in convincing Yusuf Sheikh." I looked up as DK mentioned it but left me a bit amazed, "Veronica Jain..." I peeped to his left. Veronica stood up graciously and hooked her arm with DK, he went on "She managed to get tickets to Royal Ascot knowing that Yusuf will be present. This meeting helped us a lot and eventually improved the relations with him as ow Yusuf considers our ideas." My brows twitched at the mention because I thought Veronica coincidentally got the tickets to the place Yusuf was going to visit.

They discussed other stats regarding the companies' terms and it ended soon. I moved out of the conference room stepping towards my office but stopped seeing Veronica standing at the entrance. She walked towards me and placed her hand on my shoulder "Let me guess... you're startled that how it all happen?". I looked down at her hand she removed it awkwardly and crossed her arms, "DK wants us to attend a confidential meeting held within one hour." I shrugged it off, "Fine... Tell him I would be there..." trying to walk past her she hopped on my path, "Why so stressed-out Armaan? Do I scare you?" she raised her brows amusingly.

I let out a chuckle which made her scowl, "You know me so well... I'm so stressed out because I'm far away from my wife and missing her badly. One thing which you're wrong about is that I'm scared of you. When the only thing I ever feel for you is pure disgust... from your personality, humor, and all that bullshit coming out of your mouth just adds to it." she fumed in anger. She turned to stare at my open door as I walked by, but I slammed it shut.

In the confidential meeting, Veronica, DK, and their subordinates were present including me. DK looked up at me with hatred, "Armaan... well played... I almost wasn't able to catch you." my forehead ceased glimpsing at others, "What do you mean?" he cleared out my confusion, "I wasn't able to know that you were planning to make us sign the deal with a company that never existed. We weren't able to know about your fraud until Veronica caught the misplaced names of Yusuf's board managers. She caught you planning the fraud and helped us get to the real Yusuf exposing you and your plan."

My palms sweated with the idea of Yusuf switching his side because if not him then how do they know all this? Veronica stood behind my chair placing her hands on my shoulder, "Oh honey... you're so cute thinking that you can frame us falling into your fraud. But you committed many mistakes back-to-back, your first mistake was to sign off your share's authority losing control. Secondly, you made me the COO and the biggest one thinking that I won't recognize Yash under that vile. I have known him since college he was an excellent actor. It took me a while to recognize him but to make myself sure I bugged your office and heard the conversation." She did mention some valid points but I did it to make my plan fruitful but maybe it did backfire.

I narrowed my eyes at her she smiled and glimpsed at DK, "But when I met Yusuf's managing team and had a world with them after Ascot they were convinced by my idea and agreed to the contract." A smile crept up on my face peeping at Yash's text on my phone, "So what do you want?" I asked them directly. DK growled in anger, "I was helping your ass and you're such an ungrateful bastard that you were trying to take over my company. After all this you still got the nerve to ask us what we want. What do you have Armaan? Your family kicked you out, your previous wife filed for divorce and your current wife slept with me." Veronica yelled at him, "DK... please..." he shrugged it off, "Shut up... I'm trying to remind him what he really is... do you want me to remind you also about it?"

Glimpsing at Veronica she was a bit stunned by his words but it didn't affect me. DK announced, "Armaan... you got two choices either you respectfully leave the company or I would file a court case against you. Whatever money is left for your survival after divorcing your ex-wife will exhaust fighting the case." He slides a black folder towards me on the table, picking it up I opened the zip folder checking the papers. The document was just a legal statement that I am voluntarily leaving the company because its work culture is not for me and had other bullshit to save them from any future controversy.

Looking up at Veronica she confessed, "I can't do anything about it... Armaan you got to sign those papers and leave the company. Because I got Yusuf to accept the proposal and your input is no longer needed in this company since I took over your shares through forgery because you didn't have any legal authorization." I hummed in response, "Good for you..." and forwarded my hand she glimpsed at it in confusion. "Pen..." she rolls her eyes and asked her subordinates if they didn't have any. I shrugged it off, "Never mind... I always carry one with me... this was just a preview of how much non-deserving you all are."

DK gritted his teeth gawking at me as I picked a pen from my suit jacket and played with it. "Sign it..." Veronica mentions I hummed in response and closed the pen, "Well... I won't be signing a damn thing..." they looked at each other in confusion. Opening the door of the conference room Yash stepped inside with Yusuf on his side. I stood up rolling my sleeves and put my hand in my pant pockets, DK bowed in front of Yusuf and fumbled "Sir... how... what brings you here? You could have asked me if you needed something to know about the company."

Yusuf glimpsed at him and avoided his presence walking towards me, I forwarded my hand "I'm honored to welcome you in your company..." he smirked and shook his hands with me. "It couldn't have been possible without you... I was just elected by the board as the company." Yusuf mentioned. "What?" DK blurted out, "How's that possible? Why would they do that?". Yash smirked at them with hands in his pocket, "Because they found the majority stakeholder of the company powerful over a person who owns less than three-point four percent of the company."

DK looked over at others who had the same expression of shock on their faces. Veronica stepped into the conversation, "But the majority stake of the company is equal between DK and Yusuf. Why would they consider Yusuf? What did you guys do?" Yusuf stopped her by showing his palm, "Calm down lady... did anyone ever mention that you have a squeaky voice that can annoy the hell out of a person, or am I the first one?" she scrunched her nose glaring at him. DK pulled out his phone to call someone but Yash snatched the phone at the right time.

He growled in anger, "What the hell?" I stepped in front, "What happened DK? A minute ago, you were going to kick me out by humiliating me. Now you don't even have your position or anything to stay in this company how sad it is." He looked up at me fuming in anger, "What did you do Armaan? I built this company... I own Petals Entertainment then how can you sell it to someone... you think... you can fool me... no... it won't happen..." it made me laugh. Veronica came forward, "Seriously Armaan... what have you done? We can talk about it and sort out the complications." I raised my brows at her amusingly, "Oh my god, what happened to you Veronica? Scared? Angry or guilty?" she hung her head low.

I turned my attention towards DK when he asked, "How? How's it possible? I'm not able to understand anything." Yash chuckled and mentioned, "Your little brain won't be able to figure it out so let me help you. I was the one you came with the offer to sign the contract everything was perfectly planned but Miss Veronica played a game with us. We were trapped in the mess and anytime could have been exposed. Then we got to know that Ishita has a friendly relationship... I guess we should put it like that with Yusuf and she helped us to plan all this. When Armaan made Miss Veronica the COO of the company it wasn't out of love but a part of the plan. It helped us plan things behind the back of the company's main managing officer. We even had many meetings set up behind her back which she wasn't notified about because she never was much into these things. Neither she cared to understand because she was way busy planning to harm Ishita Goel."

He glimpsed at her and went on, "The papers Armaan signed to lose his authority to Dk it were done to convince him but originally it was for DK to lose his authority over Armaan. We mixed up the papers that Veronica lacked notice of and sold it out to Yusuf which got him the majority fifteen percent of the company. But the cherry on top Veronica fell into the trap of forgery, we were aware of it. That's why a police staff is waiting for her outside with an arrest warrant." They all went blank looking at each other. DK walked to the door and turned around threatening me, "I wouldn't let you get away with it..."

I shrugged it off he walked out of the conference room followed by his subordinates. Veronica glimpsed at me with hope but I motioned her outside. Lowering her head, she took a few steps towards the door when Yusuf called her out, "Miss Veronica...". She turned around giving him puppy eyes, he announced "You're fired... so better don't come back to me pleading for anything at all. Your old projects would be closed or forwarded to the other models and I would make sure to get you banned from the industry because you have committed a criminal offense. You may leave now..." her face screwed up and she left stomping her feet which made us chuckle.

Yash cackled, "I thought she would give more of her tantrums but I guess it was enough to bring her close to bankruptcy." I smirked and thanked Yusuf, "You really helped me a lot more than I expected." He grinned, "I do have a good personality with a kind heart... just your wife brings out the worst in me." grinning widely I shook hands with him.

Yash clapped, "Congratulations to us all... Yusuf got a new company, we got rid of Veronica and the Entertainment industry got a new representative. It calls out for a celebration..." Yusuf nodded his head, "Well it does... but technically my fiancée should be the host of this party because all this is going to be hers. She owns many other entertainment companies but this one is her first international upbringing. Anyways let's get some drinks... should we?". I nodded in agreement with a grin and we got out to a lounge for a celebration.
