Your P.O.V

You and Mark were heading out for the night to have dinner with some friends of yours. You guys were about half way there when Mark realized he forgot his phone.
"Shit. I left my phone at home." He grumbled. You guys turned around and headed back home.
"I'll text them and tell them we'll be late." You said to Mark.
Your daughter Rosie wasn't going because she said she wasn't feeling well.

You guys pulled into the driveway. Mark got out of the car and headed to your front door. You rolled down your window to yell to Mark.
"Hey Babe! Check on Rosie while you're in there!" You yelled as he walked towards the front door. He nodded and went inside.

Mark's P.O.V

I headed inside searching for my phone. I was totally blanking and couldn't remember where I put it. I tore up the couch looking for it. I looked in me and (y/n)s room and found it on my night stand. I felt really stupid for not checking there...... I also remembered (y/n) told me to check Rosie.
I walked upstairs to her room. I could here music playing so I figured she wasn't sleeping. I opened the door.
"Hey Rosie how are you- OH MY GOD!"

"DADDY GET OUT!" She exclaimed as she sat up covering herself with a comforter. I was in complete shock. I didn't know what to do.
I just walked in on my 17 year old having sex with her boyfriend.
I ran out to the car to get (y/n).

Your P.O.V

You saw Mark run out of the house. He had the look of shock on his face.

"Mark baby, what's wrong?" You asked getting out of the car. He was taking deep breathes in between each word.

"I just saw... Our daughter.... In bed with.... her boyfriend." He said putting his face in his hands. You gasped covering your mouth with your hand. You guys both went inside and saw Rosie in the kitchen crying.

"Daddy, Daddy I'm so sorry!" She cried

"Save it young lady." You said strictly. Mark ran upstairs and grabbed her boyfriend. He drug him downstairs, and yelled at him to get out.

"Mom please I-" she cried

"ROSIE I CAN NOT BELIEVE YOU! HOW COULD YOU BE SO IRRESPONSIBLE?!" Mark shouted

"Rosie you have disobeyed us. Now go up to your room and do not think about coming out for the rest of the night." You growled.
"And leave your phone."

You and Mark sat down on the couch.
He put his head in his hands.
"(Y/n), that image is forever in my head. My..... My little girl.....She.....a-and him.....they were. Omigod."
You rubbed his back.

"I know baby. This is part of having a teenage daughter though. Things like these are gonna happen. She's gonna get into some deep shit, and do some stupid stuff. And we are gonna get mad at her, but she is our daughter and we'll have to forgive her." You said comforting him. He sighed up fell back onto the couch.

"I know...."

"Face it Mark shes growing-"

"(Y/n) please don't finish your sentence." He said looking at you with his brown eyes. You giggled at his comment.

"I'm gonna go talk to her." You said standing up and walking upstairs.
You got to her bedroom and opened the door. Her head shot up as she saw you.

"Mommy I-I can explain-" she stuttered.

"Ssshh. It's alright you don't need to explain." You said sitting down next to her on her. She looked at you with surprise.

"W-what?"

"Baby it's okay. You're 17 you're gonna do some stupid stuff."

"I'm sorry."

"You should be sorry. You completely disobeyed me and your father. You know the rules, young lady."

"Yeah yeah I know, Nobody's aloud over if there's no one home."

"Exactly. Especially boys."

"I know I'm sorry.... It's just I was feeling so pressured.... That's all. My friends they're always bragging about them and their boyfriends and how amazing they are."

"Awh baby. I know things like that are gonna happen. But you can't cave in. You do what you want to do. Don't let your friends affect your decisions." You said wrapping your arm around her shoulder

"Thanks Mom." She said leaning her head on your shoulder.

"I love you Mommy."

"Rosie?"

"Yeah?"

"You're so grounded."

"Shit."

"I think you should go talk to your dad."

"Mom?! Are you serious?! That'd be so awkward he practically saw me and my boyfriend naked."

"Well you should've thought about that before you invited him over."

"Well I invited him thinking I wasn't gonna get caught." She mumbled

"What was that?" You asked raising your eyebrows

"I said I'll get right on it." She said scrambling off the bed.

She went downstairs and saw her father sitting on the couch.

"Daddy?" She said in a small voice. He raised his head to look at her.

"Rosie."

"Daddy please let me explain."

"Okay shoot." He said looking at her.

"So today is our 3 month anniversary. And I've been feeling a lot of pressure from my friends cause they were always talking about them and their boyfriends. So I just kinda felt like we needed to." She said looking down and playing with her hands. Mark sighed wrapping his arm around her.

"Rosie, you know you shouldn't let that kinda stuff get to you."

"I know. I'm sorry Daddy." She said softly

"Are you mad at me...?" She asked quietly

"No baby. Except I expect better from you. You completely disobeyed me and your mother."

"I know... I have no excuses for that... So how long will you ground me?"

"I don't know I'll discuss that with your mother."
There was a bit of silence until Mark spoke up
"I'm sorry but as your father I have to ask this question...."

"Yeah, we used protection."

"Okay." He said kissing her hair.

"I'm gonna go up to bed. Good night Daddy I love you." She said hugging him and then walking up the stairs.
Mark just sat there taking it all in. He noticed you standing at the top of the stairs.

"This isn't gonna get any easier is it?" He asked you.

"No." You replied smiling as you walked down the stairs.

"But I'm proud of you for staying so calm with her." You said kissing his cheek. Mark looked at you and smiled.

"I love you."

"I love you too." You said and then kissed him
