Not until finals are over
It was quiet in the room as we both studied.
I looked over to Draco who was throwing a ball up and down.
"Draco! How are you not studying?" I scolded.
I flipped his pages back and forth and let out a complaining sigh
"Are we not gonna get anything done?" I fumed.
"Chill out! It's just a couple of tests!"
"It's not just a couple of tests! These are end of year exams! 20 percent of our grade!! I don't see how you're not stressing!"
"Well unlike you, I'm not a control freak. If I fail I fail. Oh well!"
"It is not 'oh well'. You have to study to your fill potential! Maximise hours! Every minute counts!" I sigh and look back in my notes, staring, underlining and memorising stuff I need to know.
Draco continued to stare at me.
"DRACO! I'm not your textbook! Look at your textbook!"
Draco jumped and focussed on the book. After about half an hour he closed his book and stood up.
"Where are you going?" I ask him.
"Dinner. It's 6 o'clock."
I sighed and knew I had to eat. I had barely eaten all day and I needed something.
I threw a couple things into a satchel and ran after him.
We both sat down next to each other and as soon as we started eating i pulled out a pamphlet I made and studied some spells.
Draco looked over to me and pulled the pamphlet away.
"This is dinner. Stop studying for two seconds to eat."
I huffed at him and stabbed my fork into my mashed potatoes. I shovelled food into my mouth and got up.
Draco grabbed my wrist and looked at me concerned.
"It's been twenty minutes. You aren't gonna loose all the information you've learned. Stay here. Just for a little bit."
I thought about my books waiting for me and then I looked at Draco who was peering up at me and I couldn't help but yield to him. I sat back down and draco put his arm around me. We sat for a little bit until I had to get back. I got up and he let me go with a reluctant goodbye.
I sat in my room and studied for about another hour until I started to get tired.
I was on my last leg of energy when I fell asleep in my papers.
Third POV
Draco walked into y/ns room quietly and saw her sleeping on her bed.
He sighed lightly and removed the knotted hair from her face.
He smirked and removed the pamphlets, books, papers and binders from her bed. He tucked her in and kissed her forehead.
"She's such a hard worker. My little angel."
Draco would be mortified if anyone knew what he alone called her.
He was so confused on how she could study and burn herself out like that but he knew that she could do it. He wanted to tell her that it was wrong and he wanted to show her how to take care of herself properly but that would cross friend boundaries.
But he would just keep to himself and know that it was better for him to stay silent then say anything. At least not yet.
