Cosmos, Chapter Twenty Nine - Hensō [変装]

Amaya knew she wasn't going to live down the embarrassment, however, she wasn't prepared for just how badly this was going to rattle her.

Friday night was a nightmare when it came to managing her composure, and in spite of the fact that she didn't once look at Karma that whole time, he was snickering away as if this was the most amusing thing for him to see right now.

Undoubtedly, it probably was.

But unfortunately, Amaya's composure hadn't returned at all. In fact, the evil incarnate only sought to make all her attempts at reigning in the painful embarrassment rather fruitless with every passing moment.

He'd walk right up behind her while she was preoccupied with either housework, or just while she just appeared lost in thought, and without even so much as a warning, he would do one of many things to startle her out of her wits and rattle her even further. They were general annoying things that he often did to her all through grade-school and perhaps the first two years at Kunugigaoka, but she had far less of an ability to handle that anymore.

When she was reading a cookbook to find something decent that she could cook and turn into palatable mulch if Samuel refused to stop picking through his dinner, he'd walked right up behind her and messed her hair up so bad she had to spend ten minutes just trying to comb out the knots, and another time he'd decided to see how many pieces of paper he could stick to her back before she noticed he was even there. And then one time he just walked right up to her and decided to poke her in the side, earning a sudden yelp and the bottle of dishwashing liquid hurled at his head in retaliation.

It wasn't that he necessarily wanted her attention, but rather that he wanted to mess with her.

That's all it was.

And now that it was Sunday, Amaya was in no mood at all to deal with being poked and prodded all day by an infuriating devil. In fact, beyond making sure lunches were organized, she'd retreated into the attic to skip the day altogether.

In spite of emails from a thoroughly amused Karma, Amaya refused to emerge at all. Strangely enough, it was rather for a Sunday – She could only guess that Karma had decided to leave her alone and wander off elsewhere, and her siblings had apparently left.

It was some time around noon by the time Amaya decided to drag herself down from the attic to try and sneak in some household shopping, since everyone else appeared to have left.

She slid down the ladder with little thought, unlocking the door and sliding the panel aside as she heard what sounded like Samuel's squeals, though she quickly noticed that the sound was more akin to a tantrum. Her patience was wearing considerably thin by the time she'd shoved the panel back in place.

However, it was the very instance she opened the pantry door that she found herself immediately glaring at the scene taking place inside. Her two "brothers" were home with no Reiko in sight, and no sign of Karma anywhere either. Both were in the living room, apparently having just returned home, since Samuel was still wearing his shoes and Yuta had two bags over his shoulders.

'GIVE IT BACK!' Samuel screamed as he swung his arms dramatically to hit a thoroughly exasperated Yuta, who was holding a bundle of material up above his head. 'I FOUND IT AND YOU CAN'T TAKE IT AWAY! GIVE IT BACK! GIVE IT BAAAAAACK!!!'

'I already told you not to bring anything home! Seriously, you need to-- OWWW!'' Yuta sighed as he continued to hold whatever it was he had above his head. 'Will you stop that!? That hurts!'

'I WON'T! I WOOOOON'T!' Samuel shrieked.

Amaya's patience snapped completely as Samuel's tantrum grew to near-explosive volumes and kicking of shoes against shins, sending her to close the distance between herself and the two in several long strides.

And with one fluid motion, Amaya lifted Samuel up off the floor by the back of his shirt and clouted him on the backside, eliciting a sudden yelp from him.

The look of horror written across Yuta's face as he watched Amaya unceremoniously drop Samuel back to his feet was nothing in comparison to the horribly betrayed and affronted look the blond fixed her with as he clasped his hands over his bottom.

'Wh-what was that for?!' Samuel wailed, with tears beginning to well up in the corners of his eyes. 'Big Sister Meow, that hurt!'

'Don't you ever attack your siblings again.' Amaya's dangerous tone drew a shudder from Yuta as he stared silently. 'Do I make myself clear?'

'But you hit me!' Samuel cried out indignantly.

'Go to your room.' Amaya commanded.

'NO!' Samuel screeched.

'Samuel--'

'I WON'T!'

'Samuel, do what Amaya says!' Yuta shouted, startling both Amaya and Samuel to silence.

Amaya turned her head to look at Yuta, who was in the middle of fixing Samuel with a rather severe scowl, bringing the blond to start sniffling, and for his building tears to spill over.

'B-but...'

'Go!' Yuta reaffirmed.

And with the most dramatic looks of utter betrayal, Samuel turned and ran with a petulant exclamation of 'YOU'RE SO MEAN! I HATE YOU!'.

Amaya let out a breath as she heard the door of Samuel's door slam shut with enough force to cause the dust and flakes of paint to fall from the crevasses in the rafters. She was seriously over all these damned tantrums, though she doubted they would end until he actually accepted that she wasn't one to be trifled with.

'So?' Amaya spoke up as she turned her gaze upon Yuta, who flinched at the rather severe look she wore.

'S-so?' He repeated meekly.

'Hand it over.' She commanded as she held her hand out.

Seeming to piece together what Amaya's attention had been directed to, Yuta let out a small sigh as he carefully handed Amaya the bundle of material he'd been holding out of Samuel's reach all this time. 'I told him we couldn't keep it...'

'I heard.' Was all Amaya remarked as she unwrapped whatever was inside the material.

Tiny patches of fur were visible within the folds of the olive green shirt, a tiny paw, a long, slender ear, and as Amaya readjusted her hold of what was clearly a living creature within, her gaze darkened severely as she discovered what was inside.

At the sight of Amaya's looming form over it, what was a tiny brown rabbit tried desperately to fling itself out of her grip, to no avail. She could feel the frantic beating of its heart against her hand, as she firmly took a hold of it around the middle.

Her first thoughts was how Samuel even considered the possibility that she would allow another pet, let alone some other animal that would make an addition to a zoo.

But then again, he didn't seem to place too much stock in whether she would enforce anything or not.

He seemed to believe that if he pushed something enough, she would give in.

Not that she was going to allow that any longer.

'Fine, if that's the way he wants to play it, I'll play ball.' Amaya remarked as she lifted her gaze to look at a rather apprehensive Yuta still silently watching her. 'Put the kittens in a box and bring them, now.'

The wince that appeared across Yuta's face said it all, but he didn't question her as he turned to head upstairs.

All the while, the young rabbit tried desperately to claw through the material to escape Amaya's grip as she picked up her keys and purse to head for the door.

'What?! NO! Don't take Jiji and Fluffy!' Came Samuel's cry as Yuta's form descended the stairs, followed by the scrambling footsteps of the blond's feet on the floor. 'GIVE THEM BACK! DON'T TAKE THEM AWAY!'

'Amaya said to!' Yuta responded as he hit the landing, b-lining for Amaya at the front door.

'BUT THEY WERE SLEEPING AND NOW--' Samuel seemed to slide to a stop at the stairs as he saw Amaya tugging on her shoes, with the rabbit still held in her grip. 'NO! YOU'RE GOING TO SEND THEM AWAY!'

'You were warned.' Amaya called out, holding a hand out for the box as Yuta came jogging over.

'BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THEM AWAY! THEY HAVE NAMES! THEY LIKE US!' Samuel wailed with tears pouring.

'Tough.' Amaya responded simply as she carefully dropped the rabbit into the box as well and took it off Yuta's hands.

'STOP! PLEASE DON'T--'

And without a word, Amaya shut the door behind her, all the response she felt was warranted.

A shrill, tantrum-like scream echoed from inside the house as Amaya marched herself out the gate, her narrowed gaze dangerous as she began to make plans.

Her angry walk ended up leading her up to the vehicle trail that lead up the Mountain towards the satellite campus, where she deposited the young rabbit back into the wild as she thought. The kittens mewled from inside the box, trying desperately to try and climb their way out.

She tucked the box carefully against her side with the lid shut, her gaze scrolling through her contacts list on her phone as she tried to think on what she was going to do. She didn't want to give away the kittens just because of Samuel's petulant tantrum-throwing, but she wanted to at least have them gone long enough to convince the boy that they are gone.

However, if after this, he still didn't learn, she really was going to have to bite the bullet and find a new home for the furballs.

She couldn't ask Isogai for another favor, after all the trouble she'd put him through over Yuta's actions earlier in the year, and hell if she would ask Karma to help her out – That bastard didn't spend one real day away anymore just to spite her, so there was no point. And he would make her grovel and do any number of mortifying things just to take them off her hands for a few days.

She reached Maehara's contact and hesitated for a second.

The playboy always told Amaya that if she ever needed anything, she should call him. She knew that, but she didn't know if his parents would be okay with a pair of kittens for a week.

But well ... she guessed she could ask. There was nothing wrong with that, right?

Amaya let out a breath as she pressed the speaker to her ear, her gaze scanning her surroundings as she wandered onwards throughout the city without much thought for a destination. She just wasn't going home until she found a solution to this.

'Oh! Maya-chan!' Came Maehara's bright greeting through the phone, his voice mixing with the faint sounds of chatter in the background. 'Hey! Talk about timing, you wanna hang out?'

Talk about overzealous – He didn't even give her an opportunity to greet him.

'As much as I'd like to say that's why I'm calling, you're quite wrong on that count.' Amaya wearily shook her head as she glanced down at the box held secure between her left arm and side. 'Actually, I've got a favor I'd like to ask you.'

'Sure! What favor did you have in mind? Help with studying? An escape from Karma-kun? Oh! Did Koro-sensei annoy you again?'

While most of those things he listed off could be considered something she might want help with, that wasn't it.

'None of those. I actually was wondering if you could--'

'Maehara-kun! Hurry up already!' Came Okajima's voice in the background, cutting Amaya off almost immediately.

'Oi! Give me a few minutes, damnit!' Maehara snapped at the offending Okajima, before he turned his apparent attention back on the call. 'Sorry, wanna repeat that, Maya-chan?'

She hesitated, inwardly feeling like it may actually be best if she didn't bother him after all.

'A-actually, it's nothing.'

'Oi, don't wave it off or anything! I said I'll help with anything!'

'No, it's quite--' Amaya had begun, however a looming form standing right behind her made its presence known. A startled yelp escaped her as she felt her phone suddenly get plucked right out of her grip, and she'd almost dropped the box with the kittens inside. 'OI! WHAT THE HELL?!'

'Sorry, Maehara-kun, she's going to have to call you back later~' A suddenly present Karma remarked with a smile clear in his voice, earning a volatile glare from Amaya as she turned to face him.

'Will you stop doing that?!' Amaya snapped as she tried to grab her phone back, but the redhead just killed the call before she could stop him. 'What the hell are you doing here, anyway?!'

'Somebody's in a bad mood.' He remarked, and if possible, the smirk he wore grew broader at her obvious annoyance. 'Who decided to throw water at you, this time?'

At that remark, Amaya's scarcely recovered patience snapped, and she just shoved the box with the kittens into his grip.

'I don't care, you deal with this problem! I'm done!' She then turned on her heel and resumed her angry walk elsewhere.

There was no immediate response to her blatant disregard of an explanation, though that didn't stop the amused hum from escaping the redhead a few seconds later.

'What'd he do this time?' She heard Karma ask as he followed along after her, closing the distance between them with a mere number long strides. 'Did he bring something back, again?'

Again?

Amaya fixed a volatile glare upon the amused redhead keeping equal pace with her with one arm holding the box secure, though she didn't question him. She was already mad enough – She didn't need to know about what else had been going on while she wasn't looking.

'Okay, okay~' Karma chuckled as he readjusted his grip of the box, not the least bit deterred by her legitimately bad mood. 'I'll find someone to dump them on, though I won't do it for free~'

'And pray tell, exactly what do you expect me to do in return?' She seethed.

If he pushed the wrong buttons, she was going to use that one unarguable favor she'd won from that bet to negate whatever mortifying thing he wanted her to do.

'Impatient, are we?' He cast her a sly grin as he grabbed her by the hand to drag her onwards. 'You'll just have to wait until later~'

'Damn it, why the hell do I even put up with you?!'

'Because you're a closet-masochist.'

'I AM NOT!'

Needless to say, her foul mood did nothing more than amuse him.

As the hours ticked by, a weary sigh escaped Amaya as she found herself seated alone in the middle of the city. Wherever Karma had disappeared to, she could only guess was to find somewhere to put the miniature beasts of burden for the time it would take to thoroughly convince Samuel to start behaving himself.

She was getting horribly bored just sitting there, but she did vaguely recall the evil incarnate telling her to wait, lest she pay in a torture she was painfully familiar with. That was approximately an hour ago, if she was reading the clock on her phone right.

Waiting, Amaya was, but that didn't mean she was willing to sit there for the whole damn afternoon.

She offhandedly wondered what it was that Maehara and Okajima were up to, and why it sounded like there were quite a handful of other familiar voices in the background of the call, though that didn't occupy her mind for very long.

The accumulated series of cursed luck for her had her inadvertently grow rather paranoid with every passing minute of peace and quiet there on the street. The issues brought about by Hayashi's plea for help, the various fraying threads of instance, and her time in Moscow and Berlin were still there in the back of her mind, no matter how much current, unrelated events distracted her.

Everything felt far too quiet, too comfortable for her liking.

Even though the main factor into her cursed luck had cut ties with Itona a mere week and a half earlier, she still did not like how quiet it was. There was no word from Shigure since Koro-sensei had rescued her from Berlin, as well.

And even though she had asked a few times, Ritsu had absolutely nothing new to tell her, either.

It was always "Nothing has changed. Please don't worry, Amaya-san! I will make sure to tell you right away if something happens!"

Waiting seemed to be the only thing she was doing.

Even with Shiro's little slip of the tongue that last time he had shown his creepy robed self, all she could do was make arrangements and wait.

'Hey there, cutie.' An unfamiliar voice spoke up through the sea of voices all around her, a male if she had to actually bother trying to identify it. 'What are you doing alone out here? Did you get stood up?'

Amaya paid the voice no mind at all as she continued scanning the crowds wandering past.

'Did you hear me? Hey!'

And at that moment, Amaya felt a large hand fall on her shoulder, jostling her out of her crowd-viewing.

Standing over her were two guys, somewhere within the vicinity of college aged – Easily a good four years older than her at least. They were average in both appearances and overall memorability. Both brunette with brown eyes, and rather average sleazy smiles across their mugs. One wore a black jacket, the other a plain tee.

And unlike how bewildered and confused she was when Maehara decided to pretend he was trying to win her over, she immediately knew what these two slime-bags wanted.

'What's wrong? You weren't responding when we were talking to you.' The guy with the jacket questioned, though Amaya carelessly brushed that hand from her shoulder as she turned her gaze away.

'Well that's not very friendly.' The other guy remarked, though she could hear the smirk in his town. 'You really did get stood up, didn't you?'

'That's such a shame, I certainly wouldn't leave such a cute girl like you sitting here alone in the street.'

'Your eyes must be rotting.' Was all Amaya said as she rolled her eyes in disgust.

'Aww, don't be like that, babe. Why don't you come to Karaoke with us?' The tee-wearing guy questioned, causing Amaya to shake her head in exasperation.

'Not interested.'

'Come on~ We'll show you a damn good time. Both of us will~'

Jeez, did Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum not get the damn message or something?!

Did she have to spell it out for them?!

'Will you get lost, already.' She ground out as she swatted away an attempted grab by the tee-wearing jerk. 'I will break your nose if you try to touch me again.'

'Hey, she's got some spunk in her, too.' Jacket jerk, or rather Tweedle Dumb chuckled as he crouched down with a hand extended towards hers. 'We're perfectly good gentlemen, if you'd let us sho--'

And as that hand of his got within an inch of her, Amaya swiftly threw a solid punch straight into the bridge of the jerk's nose with a remarkably loud crunch.

A pained and rather horrified screech of pain escaped Tweedle Dumb as he was knocked backwards onto his backside, his hands instinctively shooting up to clutch at his shattered nose to stem the gushing flow of blood, all the while his buddy stood there at a loss of what had even happened.

'T-Takasumi!' He'd gasped out, before he turned his angering attention upon Amaya. 'You Bitch! How dare you?!'

If Amaya's usual reaction was to take up a defensive position, today was the one day she didn't care to bother.

Instead, as she saw Karma come to a stop right behind the angered jerk with an armory of his favorite torture items, all she could do was smirk and stay right where she was.

Within a mere few seconds, Amaya got to see Karma restrain and force a tube of Wasabi and a tube of Mustard down a fully grown man's throat. And seconds later, the man had crumpled to the concrete right next to his terrified friend still clutching a bloodied nose.

'You took your damn time.' Amaya huffed as she picked herself up off the bench. 'Where the hell were you?'

'Heh, did you miss me?' He teased.

'I know I want to punch you in the face for leaving me waiting here for over an hour!' Amaya rebuked seriously as she stepped right over the wasabi-tortured guy lying on the concrete, earning an amused chuckle from the evil incarnate. 'So? Why was I supposed to wait here? And don't you dare tell me this was another of those stupid jokes of yours!'

'I did say I wasn't going to help you for free~'

'OI--'

'I'm kidding~' He was quick to cut her off with a smirk, and he didn't hesitate to grab her by the hand and tug her along after him. 'You really are in a terrible mood. I guess I'll buy you a fish to make it up to you~'

Amaya's attempt at clobbering him for the unwarranted taunt ended up failing abysmally – He side-stepped her swipe easily, all the while the two guys who had tried to sweet-talk her still remained sprawled there on the ground, at a complete loss of what had actually happened.

She honestly was doubtful that they would harass another girl on the street so arrogantly any time soon.

Amaya was dragged throughout the city even after she'd tried to swipe at Karma a few times for his painful cat jabs, on small bouts of shopping he wanted to do, since he'd apparently used up the bulk of his supplies in great haste. And by the time it looked like Karma had enough of holding her hostage in the middle of the city, Amaya had practically forgotten about her foul mood with Samuel – Instead, she was dragged right back into the normal state of retorts back and forth with moderate comfort.

She had even forgotten about the codename entry the sadist had shown her just two days earlier, though she still had less of a hold of her composure than she normally would.

She had just ended up letting him drag her along, since realistically, there wasn't much she needed to do.

The sun had begun to dip low enough in the skies to start changing the colour of the light as they'd turned down one of the quieter streets to head back towards Amaya's house when the sounds of familiar voices rose up out of the late afternoon hum, though Amaya scarcely noticed it.

She only consciously realized she knew those voices as she felt Karma grab her by the back of the shirt to pull her to a stop, bringing her to cast him a quick glance and follow his gaze.

Standing down the street branching off the one they were walking down were two groups of people outside of a cafe Amaya vaguely recognized from the start of the school year. Six of their classmates were there, including Isogai in work uniform, and as Amaya squinted through the glare of afternoon light, she recognized Asano Gakushu and his four goons standing opposite.

Whatever was going on down there, the context did not matter – If Asano Gakushu was poking his nose into the business of a Class E student, it meant trouble.

Within a handful of minutes, it appeared that Asano had accomplished what he wanted, for he turned on his heel to leave, with the others following suit. Confident, almost victorious looks were written across each of their faces as they walked right past Karma and Amaya to head on their way.

'I think your stalker found somebody new.' Karma remarked with a smirk, earning Amaya's attention from the rather ominous circumstances that had brought them to stop in the middle of the street. 'How's it feel to be ignored?'

'A relief.' Amaya muttered beneath her breath. 'Now I just need to be rid of the other thorn in my side, and I'll have peace an-- OWWW!'

The pinching to the side of her face was enough to have her drop the comment altogether.

Though the question of Asano's sudden appearance didn't go undisclosed for very long.

After a rather uneventful night of Samuel locking himself up in his room without a word, there was little distraction from the matter at hand.

A foreboding edge had overcome the entirety of class the very next morning, and everything had become rather strained. Isogai himself was rather quiet and appeared rather stressed.

Amaya didn't approach him to ask – The others in class were already making a big enough move to do just that.

So she sat with her headphones on at her desk for the bulk of her free time, her gaze tracing the contents of the recipe book Koro-sensei had forced upon her after her failure of a dish that morning.

The cursed octopus wanted her to write a report on why her damn custard cake didn't work out like the ones everyone else made, and he wanted it submitted before he would let her go home.

And needless to say, Karma had been amused by her failure the whole day.

A sizable portion of the class had already left by the time Amaya had finished scratching her head and getting annoyed at the stupid recipe book, though she didn't look up to see who remained, or even noticed the rather serious air that had overcome those remaining in the room. There had been an instance or two where there was a sudden shout, or there was the sharp motions of a rather forceful disagreement in her peripheral vision, though she was far too involved with her punishment to have paid it more than a passing thought.

Realistically, getting this cursed report done was more important than who was still here getting up to god knows what, especially since her little remark last term about why she didn't do homework.

Though she couldn't figure it out.

Maybe she should just write a report on how she couldn't find the answer to why her custard cake didn't work and hand that in?

Yes, that was probably the only way she was going to manage getting home without having to attempt some stupid form of camouflage technique just to get off the mountain. She didn't want to have to resort to that – It looked so stupid seeing half the class do that to spy on Takebayashi from the main campus, she couldn't stomach the idea of looking that ridiculous just to get home.

Not to mention the fact that if a certain someone saw her even so much as try, they would never let her live it down.

It was half way through her attempt at finding a suitable start for her report that she felt her headphones suddenly lift away from her ears, causing her to blink in surprise as she looked up from the empty page in her notebook.

'Oi.' Amaya huffed as she found the culprit to be none other than Karma standing over her shoulder, though she paused in her attempt at swiping her headphones back as she noticed that the room was rather silent in spite of every male student being present, and most were looking at her. 'Umm, what'd I miss?'

And where the hell did the girls go?!

'Say, you don't mind cutting your hair short again for the athletics festival, do you Amay?' Karma spoke up, causing Amaya to cast him a suspicious frown.

'Not that I care about my hair either which way, but why do you want to know?' Amaya asked slowly.

Rather painfully to Amaya, the redhead's smirk broadened at her question.

'Since you've never looked much like a girl and Nagisa-kun does, feel like pretending to be Itona-kun's twin brother and helping with the Boutaoshi match?'

Amaya sat there silently, completely dumbfounded as Nagisa in his corner of the classroom let out an indignant shout. She didn't comprehend what he'd actually said at first. At least until she repeated his words in her head.

'OI! What the hell do you mean by that?!' Amaya shouted as she leapt out of her seat to turn the full force of her glare upon him. 'Is there something else you want to throw in while you're at it?!'

'Amaya-san! Calm down!' A nearby Sugaya pleaded, though he was wearing a rather wry smile. 'It's not like we're saying you look like a guy or anything!'

'In exactly what way was I supposed to take a comment like that?' Amaya seethed as she turned her head towards the rather sheepish boy. 'That wasn't a question or innocent observation, damn it!'

'No, it wasn't.' Nagisa agreed within a heartbeat.

It didn't help that she could actually hear Karma snickering away.

'Okay! I think I need to intervene here!' Maehara announced as he wandered over to try and defuse Amaya's rather affronted mood. 'We're twelve people short to match Class A for the Boutaoshi match and we were wondering if you were feeling benevolent enough to help us out with that? You know, it would really help Yuuma out if you could.'

Amaya glanced at the ikemen smiling apologetically from the front of the classroom, with the odd shred of paper and even what looked like wasabi flecking his clothes and hair. It was also at this moment that she noticed the shower of rubbish and stationary that were scattered at the front of the classroom, in a very similar fashion to when everyone threw things at Irina on her first day in the classroom.

'What is so important about this Boutaoshi match, or whatever?' Amaya couldn't help but ask.

And in response, the majority of the boys actually gaped at her.

'Wait... What?' Sugino asked in disbelief.

'Heh, I told you she wasn't listening.' Karma remarked.

Amaya didn't fail to shoot a glare to the amused redhead as she snatched her headphones back.

'Well, long story short, Yuuma's part-time job got discovered again, and if we don't beat Class A at the Boutaochi, he's going to get expelled.' Maehara summarized, startling Amaya with little effort. 'As you can guess, we can't let that happen, no matter what this idiot says about it. So, wanna help?'

Amaya was about to ask if they were actually serious, though the small edge of a wry smile across Nagisa's face said it all.

Damnit. After all her run-ins with Asano, she knew this was something he would do, and it made sense that they had tagged Isogai while he was at work.

She would definitely do anything to help out, if she could.

But ... really?

While Nagisa undoubtedly looked more delicate than her, and would probably make a more convincing girl than she ever could, that didn't mean she thought disguising her as a boy would actually work to play on numbers.

Wouldn't that just give Asano more ammunition against them?

'What the hell?! You're actually considering it?!' Terasaka deadpanned as they all saw the thoughtful look creep across Amaya's face.

'She never said "no".' Maehara responded with a grin.

'I think you're all stupid.' Was all Amaya said as she dropped herself back into her seat.

Nobody would buy the merest idea that Itona's twin had suddenly transferred in.

She didn't even look like him.

As the voices of the boys in class rose to meet in planning, Amaya resumed her attempt at writing a convincing enough report to earn her freedom for the day.

Anyway, our notes today:

Boutaoshi - It's the name of the match, which in the subs I've read call it "Pole-Toppling". I actually learned this one rereading the manga.

Hensō - Translates roughly as Disguise, which is written as 変装 in Japanese. There are multiple reasons why the chapter is titled as such :D

All the best, guys~!
