Blaze: Ruby Rose, the Silver-Eyed Red Huntress.

Daisy: And Maka Albarn, the Demon Scythe Soul Eating Meister.

Blaze: These two are extremely powerful scythe users while fighting monsters.

Daisy: But what will happen if their scythes clashed? Guess we'll find out. She's Blaze and I'm Princess Daisy.

Blaze: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Ruby Rose

Blaze: In the world of Remnant, soulless creatures known as Grimm wreak havoc and destruction to the already destroyed Remnant. Luckily, a tangible manifestation of the soul known as Aura that grants them a protective forcefield and unique powers and a group of protectors, Hunters, synergize with each other to protect humanity from them.

Daisy: And these Huntermen and Huntresses have crazy combinations for their weapons. A scythe that turn into a sniper rifle, a walking stick that shoots energy and a bunch of swords that spin around to create their own Kamehameha! In fact being a Hunter is awesome people inspired to become one, one of the best examples is none other than Ruby Rose. I'll bet no one saw that coming.

Blaze: This is coming from someone who was so salty that we weren't the hosts for the last episode so much so that you attempted to kill the vibe of that episode?

Daisy: Hey we deserved to be the hosts of that episode not Shadow and Zero.

Blaze: Unless you were created as some kind of ultimate being by a mad scientist who then proceeded to clone you, yeah I don't think so.

Daisy: Whatever. Anyway Ruby lived a pretty happy life with her mom and dad and older sister Yang, who would often read bedtime stories of superheroes and acts of heroism this. Sparked Ruby an inspiration to become a Huntress.

Blaze: It was in her blood too as her mother Summer, was also a Huntress as well, so it would make sense for Ruby to be inspired to be a Huntress.

Daisy: Too bad tragedy struck and Summer disappeared and died. Yeah that definitely tore poor Ruby up a big time... But thankfully after being saved from a near death experience from a wolf attack by her uncle, though I question if they are wolves or not, Ruby's despair quickly skyrocketed and thus her dream of becoming a Huntress was revived.

Blaze: And she'd get the chance to live her dream when she entered the Beacon Academy,

Blaze: The Crescent Rose is a large red scythe that Ruby uses against her opponents, this weapon let's her use several slashes to overwhelm her foes.

Daisy: But it can do more than just simple slashes its also used in forms of teleportations, she can also fly, create semi-tornadoes, create decays, and can even transform into a gun basically a scythe gun hybrid.

Blaze: But even if her primary weapon isn't enough, Ruby can also these abilities called Dust. Which takes the form of gems that let her use some primary elements like fire, wind, water, earth, ice, and lightning, as well as plant, steam, and gravity.

Daisy: She can uses these things in her weapon for all kinds of crazy attacks.

Blaze: Ruby can also use Aura But none of those come even close to Ruby's ultimate weapon: The Silver Eyes.

Daisy: Well that's a lame ass name but then again the show isn't really known for it's great names.

Blaze: Coming from the God of light the Silver Eyes are welded by Silver-Eyed Warriors an ancient lineage of legendary warriors who possess special abilities through the usage of their eyes used by the desire to protect the ones the person cares about and allegedly it can kill with a single stare though that legend only applies to Grimm. And apparently it's also stronger than most Maidens.

Daisy: You'd think the Silver Eyes are awesome but all the can really do is.. create light from your eyes and just brighten up their opponents with a single blast and that's it.

Blaze: Hey if it works than it works and it's surprisingly deadly, Ruby also inherited this from her mother, though the downside to this is that Ruby can't really activate it at will.

Daisy: That it is until she witnessed her red haired comrade get murdered right in front of her, though she was still inexperienced at the time but considering the training she's got Ruby should still be able to somewhat use it even if she hasn't fully mastered it yet.

Blaze: Ruby is easily one of the fastest fighters on the show that includes people who could deflect light speed lasers like Winter who based on our calculations would've had to move around 95% the speed of light, putting them around roughly relativistic.

Daisy: Ruby is also comparable to Maidens and other tier fighters like her teammate Weiss and she's powerful enough to create this massive storm.

Blaze: By measuring the size of the storm to the city below, and the speed it took to get there the amount of energy needed to create this storm is around 8 megatons of TNT.

Daisy: And if that wasn't why don't you check out guys who can blast apart mountains, or like how this huge monster made an attack on the island.

Blaze: In ancient times, a demonic being known as the Kishin ravaged humanity, nearly driving all of mankind into the depths of madness. This monster could only be defeated and sealed away by the God of Death.

Daisy: I'm so sorry I can't help myself this God of Death looks goofy AF. Honestly WTF would look like that?! Has anyone ever played Honkai Impact 3rd? Because I'm pretty sure there some villains who are cool looking. Even Bowser. Jr is more terrifying than this joke.

Blaze: To anyone who is unfamiliar with the world or Soul Eater lemme promise you that this is not Kingdom Hearts lore levels of confusing.

Daisy: I've heard that before.

Blaze: Shut it, Daisy. Anyway despite being originally a God, Death became the founder of Death Weapon Meister Academy, where they train young students would come to train and become warriors known as Meisters and master their Demon Weapons... Which also takes the form of humans via transformation.

Daisy: Alright Blaze before we go on I have to say, I know you said it wouldn't be confusing, but I'm positive ACTUAL human beings turning into weapons is not only confusing but the dumbest fucking thing I have ever seen in my life. Also you're going to sit there and tell me that the God of Death founded a fucking high school?!

Blaze: Yeah I know it's strange but just bare with me here. Meisters and Demon Weapons work together to fight as one with a powerful bond, and one of the best examples of this is the one and only Maka Albarn.

Daisy: Soul Eater can do all kinds of shit like create sound waves, shapeshift to create wings, and even eat souls. Plus he's damn pro at a piano.

Blaze: Soul can also shapeshift his weapon form size and create newer forms that Maka can use for much deadlier attacks.

Daisy: And these forms not only give Maka an extra sharp side for cooler slashes but they can even increase their size.

Blaze: She can also some form of sound manipulation like sound waves. Plus Maka can also transform parts of her body into weapons.

Daisy: Yeah she got that from her bastard ass Dad who is also a Demon Weapon. Yeah it kinda sucks that Maka inherited skills from this pervert ass bastard. But hey at least she inherited her mom's

Blaze: It actually works making her all the more deadly and that's just the beginning. With the help from Soul both him and Maka can perform Soul Resonance.

Daisy: This let's them send their wavelength into another person, who sends the amplified wavelength back to the the user in a cycle that create a strong wavelength for offense purposes. All thanks to the bond of human and weapon.

Blaze: It's Meister and Demon Weapon but sure whatever but that's not even close to coming into the dangerous stuff: Black Blood.

Daisy: Black Blood? Is it like a band or something?

Blaze: No, no, no Black Blood is actual blood but there's actually something sinister about it as it was created by the witch Medusa Gorgon.

Daisy: Ohh well okay but I don't see how it can be deadly. Also please Black Blood? You couldn't be more creative with the names also the blood is not black it's normal red blood.

Blaze: Don't let appearances fool you this Black Blood is actually on a whole another league. The Black Blood, unlike regular blood, can be weaponized and can either harden or soften depending on the user who is controlling the Black Blood providing incredible versatility such as increased strength, durability and speed, stop movements, heal wounds, and shapeshifting. In Maka's case she can even access her Black Blood Dress

Quick heads up: While only Crona has been shown to utilize Black Blood more than Maka, it's still possible for Maka to use those same abilities as well.

Daisy: Well I'll be damned.

Blaze: Black Blood can also inflict Madness on them. Madness is a a corruptive effect that causes targeted variants of delusion or obsession.

Daisy: So to put it shortly you go mentally insane. But luckily Maka does have Anti-Demon Wavelength which acts like a barrier to use against Madness not to mention sound like attacks are enough too.

Blaze: Finally there's Maka's ultimate weapon: Grigori Soul. This grants a user flight, though a meister with the soul type requires a death scythe for a high level of wavelength control and a stable soul resonance with a common image. This process is notably difficult.

Daisy: Plus a cool new armor.

Blaze: In her quest to surpass her father, Maka along with Soul have done some impressive feats.

Blaze: Judging by the distance of this laser beam we can assume she was moving at around 26% the speed of light. She's also held her own against multiple other stronger opponents like Crona who is powerful enough to destroy a city.

Daisy: While we're talking about Crona we need to talk about how she covered the ENTIRE moon holly shit that's insane.

Blaze: On top of all of that Maka knows how to take so many hits.

Daisy: Like seriously you can knock her down all you want she will come back up and shrug it of like it's almost nothing. Yeah I'd say she definitely has what it takes to be the new most powerful Death Scythe.

Blaze: Maka and Soul have proven time and time again to be incredible partners, battling monsters and witches and making new friends.

Daisy: To anyone who dares cross Maka I just need to warn you that if you mess with her your soul is her's.

Maka: Humans need fear to survive, we experience it so we can become stronger.

Blaze: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data on all possibilities.

Daisy: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Remnants of the Soul

We cut to a large view of the abandoned city in Japan known as Nagazora as we two teenage individuals riding a motorcycle on the streets. We cut to a shot of them stopping and getting off the bike. They were Maka Albarn and Soul Evans. As Soul pulls out a map showing their destination.

Soul: We've arrived, Maka.

Maka: So this place is Nagazora.

Maka and Soul look at the remains of the abandoned city.

Soul: Gotta say, going into this I knew the place would be abandoned but I didn't think things are this bad. What the Hell happened here?

Maka: A longtime there was some kind of eruption that killed millions of lives. Every since then the place has been a total dump, now all kinds of unfamiliar monsters inhabit this place, and I heard that some parts of the city are completely flooded. We have no idea what might be up there so we need to keep are guard up at all times, Soul. Remember we're here to find 2 girls, one with silver hair and the other with dark blue hair.

Soul: Alright then, Maka, let's just go and get the job done and over with.

Maka: Don't worry Soul I'm on it. Let's roll.

The Meister and Demon Weapon both get back on their bike and drove off into the city.

Meanwhile elsewhere we see the Huntress and leader of Team RWBY, Ruby Rose eating some food while sitting on top of the buildings of Nagazora but then she heard an explosion in the distance which startled her and made her drop some food. Ruby sighs in disappointment.

Ruby: You've got to be joking, can't a girl like just have a break for once?

Ruby grabs her weapon and with Petal Burst flies all the way to the source of the explosion to investigate.

We cut back and we see Maka and Soul emerging from the smoke with Soul feeling disgusted.

Soul: Jeez Maka just what the Hell was that? Those souls from those monsters tasted nasty.

Maka: Yeah pretty abnormal from the monsters we were used to fighting, but the job's not done yet, we still have to find those two girls.

Before they could continue they heard a unfamiliar voice.

Ruby: Hello there.

We see Ruby on higher ground looking at Maka and Soul.

Ruby: If you two are the ones responsible for this destruction why are you after 2 girls?

Maka and Soul ignores the response with a few words as they walk away.

Maka: It's none of your business.

Soul: Yeah so get lost.

Noticing the air has shifted, the red Huntress jumps down to lower ground and responds to the duo.

Ruby: Answer my question or else-

As Ruby makes her demand, Maka immediately punches her backwards and rapid punches as Ruby blocks it before Maka does a kick that sends her flying as Soul then jumps up and readies his punch.

Soul: Alright we doing this?! Let's go then!

He particularly transforms his hand into part of his scythe form and punches Ruby but she manages to land on her feet and dodged her two enemies next attack.

Maka: Let's end this quickly.

Soul: Right!

Soul completely transforms into his scythe form Soul Eater for Maka to weld who the proceeds to charge at her opponent before Ruby pulls put her own scythe Crescent Rose and blocks an incoming attack. The two scythes clash at blinding speed with both teenagers not landing a hit on the other. But that soon changed as the Beacon Academy student hits DWMA student with her knee before firing 10 shots, as she closes her eyes and charges up her Aura. Maka meanwhile is knocked down to the street as she notices bullets fired earlier come at come at her Maka manages to deflect them all but in an instant Ruby appears out of nowhere and lands a devastating strike on Maka who nearly manages to block it. The resulting strike creates a shockwave seen from all of Nagazora.

When we cut back to the fight Maka was struggling to block Ruby's assault only to get knocked away as Soul transforms back into his human form as him and his Meister are knocked back into a random building as Ruby approaches them to confront them.

Ruby: Have you had enough are you going to answer my question now?

Maka: Oh we don't think so.

Soul transformation into his scythe form as they started to gather up combining energy. Ruby realizing what's happening jumps out of the way.

Maka and Soul: Soul Resonance!

Ruby jumps back as the wind starts howling, then with the power of the Black Blood, Maka transforms into her Black Blood Dress.

Maka: Witch Hunter!

She then charges at her opponent as the Team RWBY leader creates a tornado before Maka can reach her.

Soul: Watch out Maka I don't know what the red head's planning but keep your guard up.

Maka: Yeah I know that!

They then here a familiar voice.

Ruby: Most impressive but I got you!

Maka looks in the air behind her and sees Ruby flying in the air and duplicates herself. Maka slashes most of the duplicates but the real Ruby slashes her from behind knocking her back forward into the city. As Maka recovers she barely blocks an attack from Ruby who teleports in front of her.

The two clash scythes once again but this time Maka uses sound impact and Letter U Hunt ti knock Ruby back.

Ruby: Take this!

Before responding but uses several elemental Dust abilities. Maka tries to block them but gets hit by them which causes an explosion. Thinking she won Ruby takes a breath.

Ruby: Phew. Finally got those two.

However much to the Huntress surprise she sees a blinding light coming from the smoke and suddenly Maka is revealed to have survived in her Grigori Soul armor completely pissed off by the Silver Eyed user's actions

Maka: That's I'm going to take your soul!

Maka then flies and grabs Ruby by the neck but the latter manages to shake her off. It was at this point that the fight takes place in the sky above Nagazora. The two ladies clashing trying to land a hit on one another trying to finish off one another once and for all. Maka was able to briefly slash Ruby and knock her to the ground.

Soul: We got her know Maka! Let's finish this!

Maka: Couldn't have said it better myself! Letter "I" Hunt!

As Soul Eater transforms again Maka let's out a battle cry as she dives down to stab Ruby. But before she could Ruby opens her eyes and unleashes her ultimate weapon: The Silver Eyes as they create a blinding light knocking Maka away much to her and Soul's shock and surprise.

They then land on the ground as Ruby gets up her feet. And uses the combination of her Aura, Semblance, and Silver Eyes and prepares herself.

Ruby: I will fight like a true Huntress!

Ruby then charges forward as Maka gets up and charges up one final attack.

Soul: Let's finish this!

Maka: Your soul is mine!

Maka uses her remaining strength as she uses Kishin Hunter and charges forward. The two girls charge at each other letting out one final scream as they get close to each other and swing their scythes with all their might which creates a blinding light.

When the dust settles Ruby and Maka are on the opposite side of each other with Ruby's Aura, Semblance, and Silver Eyes disappearing and Maka turning back into her base form as well as Soul Eater back into his regular scythe form. The Crescent Rose breaks apart as Ruby begins to choke, fall on her knees and cough out blood before the top half of her body falls down and separates from her lower half as her opponent's final attack managed to cut her lower torso creating a bloody mess.

Ruby's soul then emerges from the dismembered corpse as Soul back in his human form goes to eats the soul of the now deceased Silver Eyed Huntress.

Soul: Mmmhmmm. Man that soul taste good way better than those abnormal monsters.

Maka takes a breath as her stomach was slashed.

Maka: Well know that that's out of the way let's continue our mission let's get back to our mission.

Soul: Alright then let's get to it.

As Soul walks away Maka looks back at her fallen opponent and honors her.

Maka: Sayonara.

Soul: Maka let's go!

Hearing Soul calling her Maka turns around and returns to her Demon Weapon leaving Ruby's remains behind.

Daisy: Looks like the Huntress became the hunted.

Blaze: But to be fair this was a pretty close match Ruby was slightly faster than Maka as she can react to around 95% the speed of light while Maka could react around 26% the speed of light making her roughly 3 times faster in speed. Not to mention she did have slightly more experience as while both have been training and in combat their entire lives Ruby due to her being older gives her an advantage in that field, and not to mention her arsenal of Dust abilities and Semblance definitely kept Maka on her toes, do if it were up to those 3 factors there are definitely scenarios where Ruby would've won.

Daisy: But we're looking at who takes the win more often than not and unfortunately for Ruby despite having 3 major advantages, Maka takes the victory more often than not, like with better abilities.

Blaze: While the Silver Eyes are definitely powerful and deadly and gives her a massive boost and speed, it's only like that against monsters not regular human beings and despite the legend there isn't really any proof that the Silver Eyes are an instant kill especially to regular people.

Daisy: Hell when Cinder got a massive hit by the blast of the Silver Eyes all that really did was damage eye severally and even then she was alive and well.

Blaze Not to mention when Maka and Soul use Soul Resonance it gives them multiple options to counter.

Daisy: Hell on top of that Soul can transform into difficult types of scythes for greater attacks plus Maka herself could transform slightly into weapon forms too. And that's not even beginning to mention Black Blood and Grigori Soul.

Blaze: The Black Blood already gives more options like weapons and regeneration but most importantly Maka could make Ruby go into Madness.

Daisy: Yeah I doubt Ruby has any chance of countering that once she gets hit by it she'll be all unstable for God knows how long.

Blaze: And thanks to the to the Grigori Soul gives her much more very defensive protections. So despite Ruby's impressive arsenal Maka has hax abilities that she can use as defense and then some.

Daisy: But she didn't just lose because of superior abilities, she also couldn't keep up with her in power.

Blaze: Such as when Monstra has enough power of this floating island which the highest we could get at is around 407 gigatons of TNT. That's just us highballing as one we doubt Ruby could scale to this even with fighting similar opponents and the power output could be much less.

Daisy: But even if it was consistent that's nothing compared to Crona covering up the entire moon with Black Blood.

Blaze: Based on the moon's size the amount of energy needed to cover the moon with Blood is around 29 exatons of TNT.

Daisy: That's more than 72,720,492 times stronger anything Ruby could scale to.

Blaze: Not only that but Maka should be able to take a hit that strong too and Maka is much more better at taking hits than Ruby does.

Daisy: So while Ruby was faster she had a hard time trying to land a fatal blow.

Blaze: Ruby's speed, experience, and arsenal made this MU far from one sided but Maka's strength, durability, and superior hax abilities were enough to secure this victory.

Daisy: Which is why Maka was able to scythed Ruby into pieces.

Blaze: The winner is Maka Albarn.
