Mario: Welcome to the fifth season of our Death Battle.

Sonic: Man I can't believe we have 5 seasons already.

Mega Man: Yeah time flies fast doesn't it. But let's get to the rules.

1. Rules are the same as the previous four seasons

2. Don't request any original characters from my stories such as Mario & Sonic: Dimensional Chaos or the Animaru Kingudamu books.

Mario: I think it's important to note please request characters from any of these books Phoenix has made.

Sonic: Yeah like that enemy named Yami, Mario and I fought a while back. And I'll admit he was so powerful and I'm pretty sure you guys are curious as to how he would fair against other verse characters he is not going to be available for these Death Battles.

Mega Man: And the same goes with the Animaru Kingudamu characters, which even if all of them are in their best and their story is complete (Which their not) don't even think about requesting them so just to be clear no OCs.

3. Matchups that already appeared in Death Battle will appear here.

Mario: We've thought about this for a while and we decided fuck it.

Sonic: Yeah we have this just in case any of the matchups we've planned already appeared in Death Battle.

Mega Man: We know this sounds lazy but if their are characters with good matchups that already made an appearance we figured who else they would have?

Mario: And that's it for the rules.
