Peach: Toph Beifong, Team Avatar's blind earthbending bandit.

Amy: And Terra, Teen Titan's socialpathic treacherous teammate.

Peach: We've seen our share of weapons and abilities but these two ladies can manipulate the world around them.

Amy: But time to see who's better at earth as these two cause an earthquake while they clash. She's Peach and I'm Amy Rose.

Peach: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Toph Beifong

Peach: Water, Earth, Fire, Air. In the world of Avatar lived is Four Nations who can manipulate or "bend" each element, among those is is the Earth Kingdom. The largest nation in the world. The Earth Kingdom is filled with Earthbenders who basically just throw rocks at each other.

Amy: And no Earthbender can come to even as close as unique as Toph Beifong.

Toph: Sounds to me like your scared, Boulder!

Peach: Born to the wealthy and rich Beifong family, Toph had potential to be a respectful member of society.

Amy: Yeah she had one problem: She's born blind. The family hoped she would be noble but nope that one thing about her is what crushed their dreams. Believing her to be very fragile.

Peach: Because of this her parents insulated Toph, keeping her hidden from society to protect her.

Amy: They even his her existence so people wouldn't know the family had a daughter. They even forced her to wear fancy clothes, visit a grave, and won't let her go outside.

Peach: But Toph herself was lonely, she wanted to play with the other kids outside and was unable to make friends and feel happy. This caused Toph to have a resentment towards her parents because of their strict rules

Amy: So Toph did what any kid would do if they lived a life of strict rules: Run away from home.

Peach: In her attempt she found herself lost in a cave but was found by giant Badgermoles.

Amy: The fuck is a badgermole?

Peach: Uhhh... Well their badgers and their moles.

Amy: Oh so basically half-breed.

Peach: Anyway the badgermoles are blind like Toph so they took a liking to each other, and taught her the art of Earthbending but they also taught her how to "see" using the earth around her.

Amy: Earthbending is more than just throwing rocks at people, they can also create walls, tunnel underground and even make armors out of rock.

Peach: But Toph's most impressive abilities is the Seismic Sense which she can use to to feel an sense an opponent's movements with earth regardless if it's in the air or on the ground. She can even tell if someone's lying.

Amy: How does that work?

Peach: She can feel someone's heartbeat.

Amy: Damn. That's op. Watch out for any cheating boyfriend she may have. She can also manipulate other earth like elements like sand and mud. Though technically speaking she does have a problem with sand. While she can also change the density of earth from sand to stone and back, Toph has never fully mastered it. Guess she shouldn't sand up to that.

Peach: (Sighs) But Toph's greatest achievement is creating the art of Metalbending. A bending art that was considered impossible to be impossible even for Earthbenders.

Amy: And Toph learned it in just a few hours.

Peach: By manipulating the earthly composition within, Toph can bend nearly any type of metal just as well as stone, the exception being highly purified metals such as platinum.

Amy: She can basically do the same things as she can with rock except it's all made of metal.

Peach: Before joining Team Avatar she was a champion in the Earth Rumble VI arena where she has battled some of the strongest Earthbenders out there. Even defeating all of them single handily.

Amy: Toph's also defeated an army of Dai Li single handily and those guys can bring down the walls on Ba Sing Se. There is no war in Ba Sing Se.

Peach: By comparing it's size and that of the walls the force to put a wall of this size is more than 254 Tons of TNT.

Amy: Oh and this is just the beginning Toph was able to hold up an entire library before it sank.

Peach: In comparison to the library's size and the size of Toph. The weight of the library is about 2,204,732 tons. To hold up a library of this size is a energy of 367 Tons of TNT.

Amy: She's comparable to Aang who kicked a 9,000 ton boulder and dual Bumi to a draw and that old man was able to solo an entire city all by himself.

Peach: But what's even more impressive is that she was able to hold up a collapsing mind during an earthquake. Which is insane for the record that's under a town.

Amy: Toph is comparable to some of the best of the best like Zuko who was able to catch lightning and which we find out is Mach 592. Damn you're think Toph's parents would finally see potential after all she's been through but nope they still kept her locked up.

Amy: She does have some downsides though she is a bit cocky and arrogant plus she can't really "see" well on other material outside of earth like ice for example. Also while lavabending exists she can't really bend that. But she is aware of how it works.

Peach: Toph remained close to Aang even in adulthood where she led a Metalbending Police Force and had children of her own.

Amy: But.... History repeats itself. You see Toph basically got f*ck by two men who gave her each a daughter than she treated them like BS. How ironic. Toph just came from terrible parents yet here she is being a terrible parent herself. Family drama.

Peach: But don't worry she got over it and made it happy again. And after Aang's passing and despite her old age was able to hold her own against the new Avatar and her Seismic Sense could locate people across the world.

Amy: So all that on top of training the Avatar two whole times proves Toph puts up one Hell of a fight.

Peach: Despite Toph's frustrating start as a lonely girlie thing a cocky personality, she became part of something much bigger than herself.

Amy: Toph Beifong truly is the greatest Earthbender in the world.

Toph: I am the greatest Earthbender in the world! Don't you two dunderheads ever forget it.

Terra

Peach: In the Kingdom of Markovia a fictional country in Europe lived Viktor, the king of Markovia.

Amy: Who shoved his shoved his large d*ck in his wife's ass and popped out two sons who are princes. He then fucked another woman who is American and popped out illegitimate kid. It's a pretty chill family having 3 kids and all.

Peach: Not really. While two of his children went on to do good things like taking their father's place as the ruler of their country and becoming a superhero, the third one didn't turn out so lucky, Tara Markov.

Peach: Obviously not wanting a scandal that the country's kid had a daughter they would not approve of Tara was sent to the United States.

Amy: Yeah because what can go wrong am I right? It's not like she'll plot to take over the world and become a mercenary and have some psychological problems and I right?

Peach: After being basically abandoned by her father, Tara had an encounter with Deathstroke. And the two had a sexual relationship.

Amy: Jesus Christ! Someone better call the FBI and tell them that a teenager is dating a f*cking old man. Disgusting.

Peach: Yeah.... Anyway, Deathstroke was at this point obsessed with the Teen Titans after his son Grant Wilson's death.

Amy: Basically Grant was given hearing powers by HIVE in order to kill the Teen Titans. Unfortunately that proved too much for him so Slade decided to complete the task for him to honor him.

Peach: To do this they have a plan, have Tara infatuate the Titans and gain their trust to spy on them from the inside. Going by the name Terra she was up for the task.

Peach: She can also manipulate other earthy elements such as Mud, Dirt, Sand, Stone, Brick, Concrete, Crystals and Gems. She can also create huge fissures, earth cages, crevices, earthquakes, mudslides, volcanoes, and tremors.

Amy: Even without her earthly abilities she's also an incredible fighter in hand to hand combat. She's trained by Deathstroke an assassin who's mastered martial arts styles like Kung Fu, Judo, Ninjutsu, Karate, Krav Maga, Boxing, Bōjutsu, Jojutsu, and Jujitsu.

Peach: And during her time as a double agent she's developed equipment used to spy on the team.

Amy: Like some kind of eye tech and along the way much anger issues. Though it's probably because of her insanity and loneliness to interact with others.

Peach: Terra can also manipulate the earth like gravity which she uses to fly. Though it's more accurate to say she's riding on rocks to do so.

Amy: Ans with all this in mind Terra was able to hang with the rest of the Titans.

Peach: Terra once helped Raven lift the Titan island. While this is in the TV show and non canon to the comics, Terra has done some similar feats like making volcanoes erupt from a mile away.

Amy: She's fast enough to dodge this light speed laser, which should put at least 1/10 of the speed of light still very fast though.

Peach: She's collapsed entire buildings and even took a blast from Starfire.

Amy: She's even beaten people like Deathstroke who's fought people like Batman on several different occasions. Batman once survived this explosion.

Peach: Given the size of the explosion the destructive held must be around 60 tons of TNT.

Amy: And Terra should be comparable in fact she's killed him in battle before. I honestly don't know how the Titans still has sympathy for someone who doesn't give a shit about them on top of being a socialpath.

Peach: And this is where it leads to her downfall, despite using the Titans as pawns she herself was revealed to be a pawn. She even got bitchslapped by Deathstroke.

Amy: Damn she's been through so much Hell of not trusting others no wonder she's mentally unstable.

Peach: And despite having incredible powers, Terra has never truly mastered them and when she gets angry she doesn't know how to control it. And so after feeling betrayed unable to listen to her former teammates, Terra destroyed the entire building she was fighting in and allowed herself to die along with it. Having nothing left to live for.

Amy: Damn that is sad. And as for the Titans instead of getting angry for her betrayal they made a memorial for her and hold no grudge against her. Wow. And this Terra is dead.

Peach: Don't worry Amy no one truly dies in comics. She's been revived before.

Amy: Like the time when the Black Lanterns resurrected her from the dead. And then later on sacrificed herself when fighting Black Adam, and became a good guy shockingly.

Peach: Well if there's one theory I have is that maybe just maybe all Terra really wanted deep down was a family. Even with her betrayal she was still considered a family of the Teen Titans and if saved they would've forgiven her.

Amy: Yeah but she is still pretty socialpathic for the most part. A lesson to be learned if you get on this bitch's bad side she will be the last person you'll ever see.

Terra: I was being studied, like all the rest, wasn't I? You planned right from the start!

Verdict

Peach: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data on all possibilities.

Amy: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!!

The Earth Bandit Titans

In a rocky canyon Toph is seen relaxing on the ground before getting interrupted by some shaking which wakes her up.

Toph: (Yawns) Never a day to myself huh.

Toph begins walking to the canyon.

Meanwhile Terra is seen breathing heavily as she just finished some form of training. As she here's Toph's voice.

Toph: Hey! Excuse me can you do that shaking somewhere else I'm trying to take a nap.

Terra turns to Toph and looks at the wanted poster and recognizes her.

Terra: The Runaway huh? You wanna take a nap? You can take a nap in the dirt!

Terra throws a rock at Toph to which the young Earthbender catches with ease. Toph makes a remark.

Toph: Geez you clearly must be lonely if this is how you talk to people.

Toph's words only angered Terra as the latter throws more rocks at the Blind Bandit forcing her to block the attacks and retreat. Deathstroke's apprentice forms a rock slide to chase her.

Toph: A little hotheaded, are we?

Toph earthbends some stones to send them at her opponent. Terra dodges that's to her martial arts skills before throwing a rock at Toph but Toph dodges it with ease. Toph uses her Seismic Sense to pick up Terra's vibrations as she prepares to launch another attack. Toph smirks as she says this and launches a wave of rocks knocking Terra out before she could attack. The Team Avatar member walks up to the former Teen Titans member to mock her.

Toph: Awww what's the matter you need a hand, blonde? I may not see with my eyes but I can tell your struggling! HA!

Terra: Tsk. I don't need your hand!

Terra makes the ground Toph was standing on send her flying as the mercenary recovers.

Terra: I don't go down that easily! See this!

Terra makes lava come from all walls and sends it at Toph.

Toph: Oh crud.

Toph makes a rock platform to get to higher ground only for Terra to use a rock to fly and grab as the reach the air. The two each use the rocks and unleashed a furry of attacks in rapid succession. Toph kicks Terra but the latter grabs her kick and sends herself and her opponent falling.

While falling Toph uses the rocks in the air to form a rock arm fist and punches Terra to the other side of the battlefield. Terra recovers and makes some smoke from the earth and disappears in stealth. Toph lands on the ground and searches for her opponent.

Toph: You can run but you can't hide.

She uses her Seismic Sense to feel the vibrations of Terra's footsteps. Toph then blocks an attack thrown at her by Terra who is shocked at the former.

Terra: What how did?

Toph: I told you I may be blind but I'll know where you are.

Toph then throws more rocks at Terra finally hitting her in the head.

Toph: Had enough?

Toph begins to approach Terra the Titan is feeling vibrations from her hands.

Terra: That's it! I've had enough time to PAY!

As she yells the rocks behind her float in the air much to the Blind Bandit's horror. Terra throws a barrage of giant rocks at Toph, and while the Earthbender was able to block and counter the attacks one of the rocks hit her and knocks her back. Terra then runs at Toph and starts doing a fury of punches and combos at Toph who attempts to fight back by grabbing her right arm and punching her Terra headbutts her and knocks her even further.

Terra: Come in just die already!

As Toph is on the ground Terra prepares to finish her off but Toph makes one last remark.

Toph: Tsk. Sorry can't do that.

As she says this Terra was stopped in her tracks as metal begins to engulf Terra from her legs to 90% of her body thanks to Toph's Metalbending.

Toph: That was my meteor metal bracelet. Snuck it onto you when I touched your right arm. I'm sorry it had to end this way.

Once Toph finishes the metal bracelet completely consumed Terra who can only yell in pure rage.

Terra: FUCK YOOOOOOOOOOOOU!!

Toph closes her hands and the metal armor completely crushes Terra, ending her life in the process. Toph releases the bracelet as it returns to her right arm as Terra's crushed body falls limp on the ground. Toph takes a breath and walks away.

Toph: Now that's how it's done.

KO!

Results

Amy: Ouch talk about a rock in a metal place.

Peach: Toph and Terra's powers are so similarly and matched this fight could've easily gone in either one's favor.

Amy: Thanks to her training with Deathstroke, Terra definitely had better martial arts than Toph, so if this was a hand to hand combatant fight Terra would definitely. And in terms of strength Terra was definitely stronger while Toph can scale go around town level feats but Terra could potentially destroy an island. And Toph moving at Mach 592 is really badass but Terra moving around 1/10 the speed of light is 147 times faster. So overall Terra definitely had several advantages over Toph to where she can easily take the win.

Peach: Even with those against her Toph still takes the victory more times than not.

Amy: Wait Peach so if Terra had the strength and speed advantage how did she lose? Shouldn't she win since she had those advantages?

Peach: Sure strength and speed are usually the ones important in a matchup however just because you have those advantages doesn't always mean you win, sure Terra is stronger and has incredible earth abilities but the problem is nothing she throws at Toph is nothing knew.

Amy: Even as the Blind Bandit in a underground tournament she's had many experiences dealing with dozens of similar foes who are stronger and faster than her before and she's beaten them on all the time. Hell even stuff like lava is nothing she hasn't seen before.

Quick heads up: While she hasn't fought anyone with lavabending, Toph does understand it's capabilities so even if Terra does use lava it wouldn't be that big of an advantage.

Peach: And she could likely find Terra's location using her Seismic Sense even if the earth she's using is above the ground.

Amy: Plus while Toph can't manipulate lava or magma stuff the same can be said for Terra because last I checked I don't see her manipulating metal.

Peach: Lastly at this fight's core though, Toph won because of the type of earth manipulator she is. Despite being blind Toph was able to train control her movements and her emotions when controlling the Earth around her with a much more clear and stable mind. Terra on the other hand was mentally insane and unstable and suffers from anger issues and a Borderline Personality Disorder due to just getting her powers and goes out of control when using them and once she gets angry she can't control her powers properly.

Amy: With that big of a mindset and control it's no wonder we got this outcome. Yeah Terra was more powerful and move faster but she's not gonna control her powers once she goes completely out of control.

Peach: Terra was definitely a powerful adversary, but Toph's better control of the earth, more stable mind, and skills was just enough to take down this socialpathic Teen Titans member.

Amy: Yeah Terra wasn't Toph enough to beat her.

Peach: The winner is Toph Beifong.
