Tails: Eren Yeager, the Titan Hunter from Attack on Titan.

Luigi: And Guts, the brutal black swordsman from Berserk.

Tails: These two have suffered tragedies which fulls there rage and they dedicated their lives for revenge.

Luigi: And they slaughter all kinds of monsters along the way. He's Tails and I'm Luigi.

Tails: And it's our job to analyze their weapons armor and skills to find out who would win a Death Battle.

Eren Yeager

Luigi: Welcome to scenic Shiganshina! Enjoy the rustic medieval architecture, hearty populace, and...

We see the Colossal Titan at Shiganshina's wall.

Luigi: Those.... Things.... (Starts shivering and shaking in his boots)

Tails: Cowering behind enormous walls, the last remnants of humanity were driven to near extinction by the arrival of the monstrous Titans.

Luigi: Yeah and I'm not the only one who is shiting my pants for this I mean this is basically Walking Dead except in anime form and monster nudity.

Tails: Eren Yeager was born in this type of world with Grisha and Carla.

Tails: With all this Eren, Mikasa, and Armin all lived a happy peaceful life...

We see the Colossal Titan breaking the wall.

Tails: ....until all their friends and family were brutally murdered by Titans. I'm sensing a pattern here.

Luigi: With literally no friends or family lasting longer than a 25-minute episode, Eren devoted his life into exterminating the Titan threat, so he alongside Mikasa and Armin joined the military and got their hands on some sweet Titan-slaying gear: the Vertical Maneuvering Equipment, or "VVVMMMEEE".

Tails: Also known as Omni-Directional Movement, or ODM Gear in the anime, it allows Eren to fight the towering Titans at their own level.

Luigi: ODM Gear comes with two twenty to thirty-foot long iron wire spears he can separately aim and shoot that'll hook into any surface. They'll allow him to swing around like a steampunk Spider-Man.

Tails: The Vertical Maneuvering Gear or the VMG as I like to call it, is a piece of equipment created to allow for great mobility so that the weakspot of the Titan, The Nape, could be easier to reach.

Luigi: Yeah this guy's pretty much got everything he needs to slice some monsters to into pieces. He's got towns of equipment used to slay every single Titan on sight. Some of which are sharp enough to pierce even the Armored Titan's impenetrable hide, and once their fuse is severed, they'll explode, devastating anything within range.

Tails: Shattering the Armored Titan's armor is no joke. It was tough enough to tank punching a hole through Wall Maria. By measuring the size of the gate in comparison to, uh, let's go with this guy, we can determine the Armored Titan violently fragmented over a thousand cubic meters of rock.

Luigi: That'd take over 18 tons of TNT, enough to level a city block, and the Thunder Spears shraped it! No surprises here, if you're too close to one of its blasts, it's game over.

Tails: However this is only half of what he's capable off he's capable off.

Luigi: Oh ho man this is the part where shit goes really REALLY down hill.

Tails: Turns out Eren was injected with Titan serum.

Luigi: Uhh Tails what's Titan serum? I'm confused.

Tails: Well a Titan serum is a form that is used to turn a Subject of Ymir into a Titan once that happens the victim goes the most gruesome transformation I have ever seen, grow into size and become the very monster they swore to destroy in other words they recreated Captain America's Super Solider serum but added a little monster twist to it.

Luigi: Jesus Christ! Whose idea was it to make that sh*t why turn your own people into Titans? I thought they were supposed to stop them!

Tails: Well now humanity's greatest weapon against the Titan menace, Eren was at the center of all major anti-Titan operations.

Luigi: And he's got multiple forms of Titans some of which are capable of regeneration, hardening, and even has some cool sharp teeth.

Tails: However given it's size Eren becomes much more slower and probably much more violent.

Luigi: But who cares about that when even as a human he is capable of dodging these bullets. Hell even Levi reacts to rocks.

Tails: Based on the distance of this rock he must've moved around Mach 10.

Luigi: As a Titan, Eren was able to other Titans, Hell this guy Armin caused a nuke sized explosion simply buy transforming.

Tails: We'll use a Kuma Class Cruiser as a basis here. Judging by the size of the aftermath of the explosion the energy to create an explosion of this size would have to be 1.16 megatons of TNT.

Luigi: That's more than enough energy of an a atomic bomb which carries an energy of 20 kilotons of TNT.

Tails: So Eren is strong enough to compete with the best of the best. All to ensure victory over the Titans as possible.

Luigi: Oh ho yeah once this is all said and done he's gonna make the entire world happy and at peace just like every other Shonen protagonist. Or I guess he would have if he didn't... Oh hey, heads up. HUGE spoiler warning in 3, 2, 1: Yeah he's evil, like, totally evil.

Tails: Eventually war proved to be too much for Eren after seeing too many of his friends dying he was pushed to the breaking point.

Luigi: Turns out living a sh*tly life, witnessing his loved ones die, fighting countless wars, watch even more people die, being diagnosed with survivor's guilt doesn't create a healthy person I kinda feel bad for him.

Tails: On top of that he eventually learned the harsh truth about the world that it turns Eren discovered that the Titans who attacked Eldians inside the walls were sent by the Marley — people of his own ethnicity, this made him snap and decided to destroy humanity he almost succeeded too as he wiped out 80% of the population.

Luigi: Goddamn talk about turning your own protagonist against your entire world.

Tails: But he's not entirely evil at heart, Eren admitted that he became a threat to the world so that the Survey Corps can kill him and become humanity's heroes. He also said that killing him would end the Power of Titans forever and bring back the humans transformed into Pure Titans. He wanted the Survey Corps to become heroes so that the rest of the world would no longer hate Paradis. He hoped that it would give his people the chance to build good relations with other countries, and change the narrative that Paradisians were "devils." Eren ensured that the world would never again misuse Titan powers for war or conquest. And so eventually he was ultimately killed in battle by Mikasa the very person he had saved long ago, Eren realized that nothing unites humans like a common enemy. He killed billions of people, but ultimately, he freed Ymir from her curse, saved all those humans who were wrongfully turned into Pure Titans, and gave humanity a new start. Despite his methods may have been wrong but in the end his intentions were noble even if he wasn't going about them in the most moral way and thus the world is at peace.

Luigi: Damn... that's kinda sad... But I guess the moment you tried to live a happy life and a monster shows up to kill your family you were pretty much bound to suffer until the day you die.

Eren: I'll kill them all! I'll wipe every one of them...off the face of this earth!

Guts

Tails: In the realm of Midland, rumors run rampant of a man wielding a humongous blade slaying any that get in his way, but before his legend grew, this black swordsman was known simply as Guts.

Luigi: Guts' life was shit from the start he was born from the corpse of his dead mother who had been hanged from a tree after a massacre.... Wow. Not even a second old and already tragedy struck him. Yeah that's TOTALLY dark right there even darker than Phoenix's Animaru Kingudamu books.

Tails: Guts was taken in by a group of mercenaries and was adopted by them... until Who... died of the plague three years later.

Luigi: Wow tragedy is sure to be set to be a key them as people can't live perfect lives without shit getting thrown at them.

Tails: With no one left to turn to, Guts was mentored by the mercenary leader Gambino, who began training him in swordsmanship when he was just six years old.

Luigi: Who turned out to be the most shitiest dad ever he and his pals abused Guts to oblivion and laughed at his face.

Tails: An extremely determined student of war, Guts was soon brought onto the battlefield and killed his first man at the age of nine.

Luigi: A nice kill but that still didn't stop him from getting abused in the most horrific ways I can't nor want to explain. But don't worry Guts eventually got his revenge and murdered the shit out of adopted father. Now that's some hardcore karma right there but it only makes sense since people like him would die like a bitch.

Tails: After killing his adopted father, Guts became a lone mercenary, and a damn good one. Recognized for his skill, he was recruited by a mercenary group called the Band of the Hawk, Led by an ambitious man named Griffith.

Luigi: The Hawk's raiders would be Guts' first taste of camaraderie and friendship. With this Guts is a skilled swordsman with that big ass sword he carries.

Tails: This big ass sword is called Dragonslayer. A large sword used to slice his enemies into pieces such as monsters.

Luigi: You can just say he has the Guts to weld such a big sword I mean it stronger than steal despite being made of steel. Over the next three years, they single-handedly ended a one-hundred-year war. Things were looking up for Guts. Aaaand then Griffith summoned a horde of demons, transformed into a bat monster, and murdered all of Guts' friends, and claimed ownership of Guts' soul by branding his neck. If that wasn't dramatic enough, Griffith then raped Guts' girlfriend in the pool of his friends' blood as he watched, pinned down with his eye gouged out and forced to cut off his own arm.

Tails: After all that, Guts dedicated his entire life to murdering Griffith as painfully and brutally as possible. While fighting demons on a daily basis as they are drawn to his brand like moths to a flame.

Luigi: But luckily he found the right tools for the job done. He carries a belt of throwing knives and a pouch of mini bombs even demons can't take.

Tails: He also received a new mechanical hand, which houses a flamethrower, repeater crossbow, and a hidden single-shot cannon, perfect for blasting a demon's face off. And also it turns out the sword Dragonslayer it was forged by the legendary hermit Godo, Dragonslayer was made to... well... slay a dragon. Unfortunately, it was laughed off as impossible to use by anyone.

Luigi: Except Guts.

Tails: Guts also where's his Berserker Armor which increases his strength and speed and is even fast enough to dodge lightning based on the speed distance Guts must've reacted to around Mach 318. Also this armor kinda... forces Guts to give in to his inner demons and lose all sense of morality and restraint, making him the most violent demon-killer ever.

Luigi: Guts has done a lot of crazy sh*t like the dude fought 100 men by himself in one single night I'm not even joking.

Tails: Guts also tanked Mozgus' God Breath which has the maximum fire power of 119 tons of TNT. And after killing over a thousand demons - no, I did not stutter - Dragonslayer has bathed in so much demonic blood that it now resides in both the physical and astral planes of existence... somehow. Meaning it is capable of harming any supernatural beings. Even ghosts.

Luigi: You wanna see more insane? How about the time Guts jumped into the mouth of a giant sea god, cut his way through it, and killed it within. Guts will do ANYTHING to defeat his foes, including jumping into fire or allowing himself to be impaled just to gain an advantage. And... somehow he always survives. He's fallen hundreds of feet, gotten stabbed through the face, taken one thousand supernatural punches at once, and even been run over by an... elf, fairy Mothra going supersonic speeds.

Tails: Guts is a crazy survivor he's been stabbed multiple times in the chest and the face, survived hundreds of feet, and has fought with broken bones. And with all these skills Guts can be easily compared to top tiers including those who made their huge storm.

Luigi: But regardless of his weaknesses Guts is a badass and the living embodiment of rage and the epitome of badassery. Believe me, the last thing you wanna do is get in this guy's way.

Guts: My sword has gotten very dull. However, it's three times as thick and does three times the damage of a normal sword. You'd better pray you die quickly, or this could be painful.

Verdict

Tails: Alright the combatants are set and we've run the data on all possibilities.

Luigi: It's time for a DEATH BATTLE!!!!!

Bloodlusted Slayers

It's night time was see a full moon in the sky we eventually cut to a shot of the Black Swordsman himself, Guts while carrying his Dragonslayer but is suddenly stopped when he heard a voice behind him.

Eren: Hey you! Who are you and what are you doing here? I've never seen you around here before.

That voice was Eren Yeager, when Guts turns his head to look at him he turns his back continues walking.

Guts: Get lost kid otherwise you might regret it.

This comment enrages Eren as he pulls out his two swords and charges at the mercenary.

Eren: Hey don't you dare turn your back at me!

Guts turns around to block the incoming attack and the two clash their swords each one trying to hit the other.

Guts: You wanna fight me? Fine!

He clashed with his new enemy who keeps his distance with his iron wire spears and proceeds to fire some missiles.

Eren: Take this!

The missiles that are fired were heading right for Guts who dodges some of them but is hit by one. Emerged Guts responds by using an Cannon arm and fires multiple shots at Yeager as the Titan slayer dodges which irritates Guts.

Guts: Stand still you little runt!

He finally lands a shot at Eren with Fire Gun and which sends him flying into several trees. Eren recovers for a minute and attempts to get up.

Eren: Damn it.... That hurt.

As he gets up he noticed Guts attempting to stab down him with Dragonslayer from above which Eren dodges and the two clash swords.

Eren: Nice trick but I-

Before he could finish in a single swing Guts was able to destroy Eren's blades much to Eren's shock.

Eren: What?!

Guts then slashes Eren and sends him flying to the woods. Eren coughs up blood not believing what just happened.

Eren: How the Hell did he die that? Who is he what is he?

Guts approaches him preparing to finish him off as he answers his opponent's question.

Guts: I am a mercenary!

Eren coughs out blood and chuckles and realizes something as his opponent gets closer.

Eren: Oh well no getting around it I guess... You leave me no choice but to transform!

Guts is confused until Eren starts transforming and gets bigger shocked Guts pulls back for now to observe his opponent transforming into a large   Titan in it's Berserk form.

Guts: So you're just another monster attracted to me huh?! No matter I will destroy you!

Guts charges but Eren easily knocks him away with his hand causing him to be sent flying down into the forest as the Titan charges at Guts before he can recover he gets overwhelmed as his spine arm and legs are broken and sent flying again.

Guts: Alright that's it I'VE HAD ENOUGH OF YOU BRAT!

Guts having had enough of Eren gets into his strongest weapon the Berserk Armor which reattached all his broken bones giving him a chance to charge.

Attack on Titan and Berserk's bloodthirsty anime protagonists clash at each other creating shockwaves and destroying 20% of the forest in the process. As Guys makes several slashes Eren thanks to his Titan form was able to regenerate almost instantly but Guts still manages to knock the monster away. As Eren looks up he sees Guts preparing for another attack but with a punch Eren was able to damage the Berserk armor and tear off the mask, before Guts could attack, Eren grabs him and attempts to finish him off. However this fails as Guts breaks free from Eren's grasps as he yells he uses his Dragonslayer to slice off Eren's arm as Guts dives in and with multiple sword swings slices the Titan into pieces killing Eren in the process.

Guts lands in the ground a distance away from Eren's remains as the fall to the ground, the Black Swordsman looks back at his dead foe.

Guts: Pathetic. You should've gotten lost when you had the chance kid.

With the Berserk Armor off him and Eren defeated, Guts continues to walk in the forest at night.

KO!

Results

Luigi: OH YEAH! That's what I call a badass swordsmanship.

Tails: Both Eren and Guts are incredible bloolusted foes making the one incredible fight.

Luigi: But unfortunately for Eren he takes the L in almost every category. Both have fought in wars before and have trained before but Guts has been training since he was 6 years old and as been adaptable in fights before giving him the advantages in skills and experience.

Tails: As for their standard forms Eren might have a greater arsenal but this only deadly to Titans and not humans

Luigi: Not to mention Guts' equipment has not only worked well against humans but also monsters, demons, and dragons.

Tails: Even if Eren's equipment does work Guys has survived Mozgus' God Breath which we stated earlier has an energy put out of 119 tons of TNT. That's 6 times stronger than Eren's normal equipment which at best is at least 18 tons of TNT.

Luigi: So Guts can easily overwhelm Eren no problem that is until he transforms into his Titan forms.

Tails: That may give the advantage in size but Guts has fought and beaten foes much bigger than his size before.

Luigi: Not to mention in order to land a fatal blow they'd have to hit him first.

Tails: Good luck with that because while Eren and other human characters in Attack on Titan can move faster than bullets, Guts can dodge lightning making him 30 times faster than Eren.

Luigi: Plus to add insult to injury whenever Eren is in his Titan forms his speed decreases making him even slower than before. Guts should be more than fast enough to dodge any of Eren's attacks and land some devastating fatal blows.

Tails: With Founding Titan, Eren can create an army of Titans but it wouldn't really do much as not only is the speed difference way too big but Guts has fought armies and defeated them single handily before.

Luigi: But even if they could land a hit in Guts can scale to several top tier monsters like the Giant Ganishka who created this giant storm.

Tails: Judging by the size of the storm and based on the timeframe it took for the clouds to move the energy output is more than 554 megatons of TNT.

Luigi: That's more than 476 times more powerful than anything Eren can scale to like the 1.16 megaton feat. With this not only would Guts survive anything Eren could throw at him but he should be able to land a fatal blow no problem.

Tails: But perhaps the biggest reason behind Guts' victory was his incredible will power and endurance, as throughout his battles he did literally everything it took to take the win even if it means getting stabbed multiple times, having his bones broken his will to survive and win has helped him pushed forward time and time again.

Luigi: I mean we're talking about a guy who's been through literal Hell fighting humans, monsters, demons, and even gods and come back. Also despite their regeneration and hardening abilities, Titans have been damaged and died before, Hell all Mikasa had to do was slice Eren's head off and that was it he's dead.

Tails: Eren was a difficult opponent to handle but Guts's strength, speed, durability, skills, experience, endurance, and willpower were too much him.

Luigi: Eren didn't have the Guts to take take down the badass Dragonslaying Black Swordsman.

Tails: The winner is Guts.
